Bert is the man! I called early this morning and he was here within less than an hour and fixed it and went about his way. Nowadays there’s no customer service but he was very nice and I would highly recommend this place if you need repairs on appliances. Thanks again Bert

This is that rare case when you get perfect customer experience. It started with the Administrative Assistant picking up the phone and, in a very professional manner, asking me a few thoughtful and to the point questions about the problem I had (which was a broken freezer). The next thing, just few hours later, Alex, who is the owner of the business, showed up at my door, diagnosed the problem, explained possible solutions, and gave me a quote. The next day he came back and within less than an hour replaced the broken part.
Fair price, very professional service and pleasant people who work hard to make their customers happy.

Alex came this morning to fix my dryer. I was skeptical at first because he knew what it was and didn't really look at the dryer, but then I realized I often know what's wrong with my patients before looking at them based on what they tell me also. He immediately quoted me the price and said he could do it right then. My dryer was fixed and functional within an hour. He even cleaned out the interior lint trap! Talking to him while he was working I learned he's been in the business over 20 years; so I imagine he's seen it all and why he could diagnose so quickly. He even went above and beyond for me and helped replace my dryer vent ducting because it had a hole in it. I called this place less than 24 hours ago and my dryer is already back up and running, I also was educated on how to get many years out of my appliance. I cannot recommend Family Appliance Repair enough and will use them for all my needs as long as I'm local. As for Alex, he's really fantastic and I bet they all are but I'll ask for him in the future!

New Review: Editing: Charged me for repairs they never did. I have phone calls and text messages from them about a refrigerator part they said they needed to order. They told me it was back ordered. They came twice and never repaired the frig. I paid for a part and I paid for the visit. About $200. Then they told me if I couldn’t find my receipt (after a year) I couldn’t get my money back. The owner said he couldn’t find my receipt and he couldn’t find my name in the computer. We’ve used his business multiple times. I finally called another company they came and fixed it in 5 minutes. My frig computer wasn’t broken. It was set on “Sabbath” which made the lights not work.

Old review: I called Family Appliance Repair for a dryer repair this morning at 9am. They have been here, fixed the dryer, and even cleaned up the dust and dirt before 11am. Less than 2 hours from start to finish. Armando was the service provider and he was professional, efficient and an expert. Loved this service.

Alex was able to make accommodations to have my dryer fixed within 24 hrs. Armando the technician was polite and explained what was wrong with my dryer and the prices to fix it. I will definitely recommend them to my family and friends. Such a relief to not have to buy another dryer!!! Appliance repair is definitely the way to go took my stress away over laundry!

This company was very responsive and came out quickly to help me fix my dryer. Alec was very helpful and gave us suggestions on how to maintain the appliance. My wife called Family Appliance Repair in Highland Ca at about 8:00PM on a Saturday, as we discovered to our dismay that our refrigerator had shut off and the contents of the freezer and refrigerator would soon be ruined. To our relief Family Appliance answered their phone and the office manager stated they could dispatch a service technician to our home at 6:30AM on Sunday morning. We were very surprised that someone would come on the weekend and the fact that they would come at 6:30 AM was incredible. Alex the technician called my home in the morning and arrive at our home sharp at 6:30AM. Alex was very knowledgeable and listed carefully to our concerns, he repaired the refrigerator about one half hour. The price for the repair was also the most competitive we received in fact we asked him to repeat the price we owed as we expected to pay more because it was the weekend.

Great service! 2nd time I've used this company and am happy again. Appointment made quickly, service man Bert, was incredibly nice and explained things very clearly. Although we weren't able to repair the washer, he gave me some helpful pointers on making it last a while longer while I shop for a new one and advice on how to not kill the next one :-). Overall a great experience. I will definitely call again.

My Husband and I really appreciated the quick service from Family Appliance Repair. Ruben was extremely helpful and explained everything that he was doing while repairing our fridge that went out. He came in and went right to work. I would recommend this company to anyone. If you call please ask for Ruben he was excellent.

Replaced the washer was recommended. Temporary use ok but replacing of drive agitator not worth the cost. On a 16 yr old appliance.
Fair and quick service.

My refrigerator was not working this am, I called and was told that they could come today. Alex was at my house within an hour. He checked it, found the issue and the repair was done within an hour. Could not be happier that I found their number and called. I highly recommend this business to anyone and above all else, I am supporting my local business community

Just wanted to say Thank you to Alex for his great customer service! This is the second time he has been call out to my house, first time for my washing machine and this time for my stove. These guys are the best! Always so friendly and helpful. They always make time to come out, most of the time the same day that I call. They quickly fix my appliance and give a great price. If you need something fixed and you want it done quick, efficient and affordable, please give these guys a call. Was able to get same day appointment. Technician Junior came and quickly diagnosed my dryer and was able to fix the issue. Was very honest and helpful. Explained everything. Would highly recommend.

Called their office because my dryer quit working. They were very responsive and came out the next morning. Bert was efficient at diagnosing the problem. He ordered the part needed and came out the next day, which was his day off to repair my dryer before Christmas. He was knowledgeable and efficient and fair in his pricing. Great job! He was very knowledgeable and knew the problem with my fridge within seconds of seeing it! My 14 year old Whirlpool dryer quit drying at the start of Nov. I called the number in my owner’s manual. The company Whirlpool uses could not get anyone out until Dec. 21. When the guy came out he did not do anything but say clean the vent. I was charged $140. We cleaned the duct and it still did not heat. So, in a panic with Christmas just a few days away I happened to find Family Appliance RepIr. I love that they are open until 8pm. When I first called I got a message saying their inbox was full. So I hung up. To my surprise I got a call just a few minutes later. They actually called ME back. I explained what had happened when I dealt with the Whirlpool folks. The woman that I spoke with asked if I could be put on hold while she contacted her manager to see what they could do. She was able to get me a next day appointment. Ruben came out the very next day. I was charged 65$ for service fee and if the machine needed to be repaired then they would deduct the service call. Ruben, after looking at the dryer advised we clean the duct thoroughly once more just to be sure. If the issue was not resolved then he would come back out. We took his advice and called him back immediately as the dryer still did not get hot. It was Christmas weekend and he said he could return on Tuesday. He replaced the heating coils. He said he did not want to charge us if the issue was just a blocked duct. He called up both times to let us know his ETA. I appreciated his quick response time and his explanation of the work he did. Thanks!

I called after normal business hours for repair of my fridge because it was not cooling and got an appointment the next day from 2-5pm. That was workable. The next day they called and were able to send someone between 10am-1pm, even better. Bert came and gave a diagnosis and cost. He had the needed motor in his vehicle and was done in less than an hour. I was so glad to find Family Appliance Repair. I will call them again if I have another appliance repair. Bert said it would take my fridge 24 hours to get both the freezer and fridge sections back to normal temps. He was right, all good here now.
