Bert is the man! I called early this morning and he was here within less than an hour and fixed it and went about his way. Nowadays there’s no customer service but he was very nice and I would highly recommend this place if you need repairs on appliances. Thanks again Bert

This is that rare case when you get perfect customer experience. It started with the Administrative Assistant picking up the phone and, in a very professional manner, asking me a few thoughtful and to the point questions about the problem I had (which was a broken freezer). The next thing, just few hours later, Alex, who is the owner of the business, showed up at my door, diagnosed the problem, explained possible solutions, and gave me a quote. The next day he came back and within less than an hour replaced the broken part. Fair price, very professional service and pleasant people who work hard to make their customers happy. Alex came this morning to fix my dryer. I was skeptical at first because he knew what it was and didn't really look at the dryer, but then I realized I often know what's wrong with my patients before looking at them based on what they tell me also. He immediately quoted me the price and said he could do it right then. My dryer was fixed and functional within an hour. He even cleaned out the interior lint trap! Talking to him while he was working I learned he's been in the business over 20 years; so I imagine he's seen it all and why he could diagnose so quickly. He even went above and beyond for me and helped replace my dryer vent ducting because it had a hole in it. I called this place less than 24 hours ago and my dryer is already back up and running, I also was educated on how to get many years out of my appliance. I cannot recommend Family Appliance Repair enough and will use them for all my needs as long as I'm local. As for Alex, he's really fantastic and I bet they all are but I'll ask for him in the future!
New Review: Editing: Charged me for repairs they never did. I have phone calls and text messages from them about a refrigerator part they said they needed to order. They told me it was back ordered. They came twice and never repaired the frig. I paid for a part and I paid for the visit. About $200. Then they told me if I couldn’t find my receipt (after a year) I couldn’t get my money back. The owner said he couldn’t find my receipt and he couldn’t find my name in the computer. We’ve used his business multiple times. I finally called another company they came and fixed it in 5 minutes. My frig computer wasn’t broken. It was set on “Sabbath” which made the lights not work. Old review: I called Family Appliance Repair for a dryer repair this morning at 9am. They have been here, fixed the dryer, and even cleaned up the dust and dirt before 11am. Less than 2 hours from start to finish. Armando was the service provider and he was professional, efficient and an expert. Loved this service.
