Reviews of local pros in Jamestown, California

Jacob's crew installed a new furnace, A/C unit and condenser. The installers were on time. They clearly communicated what they would be doing and the progress they were making. They got the job done in one day as promised. Jacob and team are great to work with. I highly recommend Performance Based Air for all of your HVAC needs.

Jacob had to make three trips to our place because of weather (roof unit). Once he got to the unit it took him no time to figure the problem and fix us up. Great service and good explanation of the problem should it recur. Thanks again Jacob.

Juan & his crew arrived well with-in the time block. They had a new employee with them and were training him while installing my unit. It was informative to listen to them as they were installing & training. Their work was highly professional, clean & efficient. I expected the install to take about 1/2 a day, but Juan & his crew were done within 3 hours. He said... "if they weren't training, it would've been quicker".
I was greatly satisfied with the Install, and once I began using my Mini-Split unit, the house was soon at a comfortable temperature.
I would definitely recommend Performance Based Heating & Air to anyone looking for A/C or Heat issues. I am extremely happy to have chosen them for my A/C needs.

Jacob is the ultimate professional. This is my second job with him. Makes sure that you understand exactly what you’re getting and how it’s going to operate, a no nonsense approach. he makes his schedule and sticks with it. His crew is clean and tidy and courteous.

Amazing knowledge, work ethic, and customer service. Jacob (the owner) has been a great resource in educating us on mini split systems and is always available well beyond the initial install.

Great experience with Jacob and Performance Based Heating and Air on my air conditioning install. Response time was quick to all of my questions, they always answered the phone when I called, and they worked hard to make things work. I was happy with the price and service provided. I’ve worked with Jacob and team for a few years and always impressed with the experience, skill, and advice given.

Jacob is down to earth and a straightforward guy that I trust his advice and solutions.

Jacob and team were great, helped us out even on a holiday weekend! Great communication, on time, diagnosed the problem and was on his way. Highly recommended

Jacob at Performance Heating and Air is just outstanding. He is always on time, his rates are reasonable and he provides great service. He installed and maintains our mini-split and also services our central heating. He just doesn’t fix problems, he helps prevent them with preventive maintenance. I have recommended him to friends and they all have received the same level of great service.

Brian and Brandon did an excellent job installing two mini split units at our home. They were very professional and their workmanship was first class.

Couldn't find anyone to repair our heater. Contacted Jacob and he was there the next morning. He said he would be there at 8am and was 5 minutes early. He fixed our heater and explained the issue in a manner that we understood. He was quick, friendly and efficient. I highly recommend Performance Heating and Air.

Air Conditioning quit on a Federal Holiday - the worst, right? Except Jacob came out and fixed it! Fixed it fast and for a fair price. There was a Holiday surcharge as I expected but I didn’t feel I was gouged. We’re happy!

Very professional company that came out a delivered a great product on time. The owner and staff were well versed in the HVAC field and I would recommend them to anyone needing services in purchasing and installing a awesome mini-split A/C

WOW! Jacob was unbelievable! He knew where to go, what was wrong & fixed it in 10 minutes!!! We are both Permanently Disabled and couldn’t have made it another day in this heat without A/C!
He also, installed the Ceiling Intake Filter, like it was automatic! We have had to replace the filter in the past, & it was awful! Thank you Performance-Based HEATING & AIR! We can’t thank you enough! Jon & Kim Olson

First off Jacob has been one of the best contractors when it comes to communication and responding. This company has been very prompt and responsive when I have had service repairs needed on my AC/Furnace. Now they just installed a brand new mini split system in our home. The crew showed up on time and were polite and professional. All work was clean and done nicely. Our new system works great. Highly reccommend performance based heating and air.

Jacob and his guys were nothing short of excellent to work with. They installed a whole new 4 ton heat pump and AC with new duct work. Jacob answered all my questions(there was a lot of them). He was always very responsive and when I had thermostat issues he was very quick to get it dialed in. His guys do clean work and do a great job picking up after themselves. Their prices beat out all the other quotes I got as well. I highly recommend Performance based for your HVAC needs.
