I had a great experience using Accountable Carpet Cleaning! Shane contacted me and was courteous, professional, and very reasonable with his pricing. His scope of work was to clean the tile and grout in our 10+ year-old kitchen floor, and now we can practically eat off it. I'm a stickler for finding good contractors who meet all the marks (not just pricing), and I would recommend this company to anyone reading this.

Brian and Shane are both such fantastic humans. Nothing is priced right it seems anymore but they are very reasonably priced. The carpet and our couch always look fantastic and smell good or don’t smell anymore. Thank you both.

We have two large recliner chairs that needed some serious deep cleaning after several military moves when my husband was still a sweaty, stinky bachelor and would live in the things when not on the ship. Shane was super professional, always quick to respond, efficient with the time he was inside our home, and did a fantastic job. I absolutely trusted him, and he made sure to communicate what he was doing and why. If/when we need other services, we will definitely use this business again. You won't find a better price for great work in the area. Hands down. When doing research, I realized what a trickster world upholstery cleaning can be (apparently), and I'm so glad I found a company I could feel comfortable with from the beginning and even more so afterwards. Big relief.

Good pricing, professional, and exceptional work. From the beginning the quote was fair and the price was set upfront without any hidden fees (as advertised on their website). Shane confirmed the day before and let us know when he was on his way; he even let us know when he was delayed by a couple of minutes because of unexpected traffic. Shane was very friendly and respectful; you can tell he enjoys his job and prides himself in providing an excellent service. Our couches look like new and we could not be happier by the job performed by Accountable Carpet. There is a reason why Accountable Carpet has so many great reviews. We didn’t think our two and a half year old WHITE couch and recliner could be cleaned well. We called and were surprised that Accountable could come out so soon - in only two days!

Brian arrived on time after confirming with a phone call that he was on the way. That’s pretty good! Then Brian (a great ex-Marine - thanks for your service, Brian!) started work on the white sofa (yes, the one that was now kinda gray and tan). He took a good long time making sure that it was spotless. And the sofa ended up looking like new. Really.

Our three upholstered chairs also turned out fantastic! Next, Brian started on the light beige carpet that was neglected for a couple years. He again took his time, making sure everything looked good. And it indeed looked great!

Like I said, we couldn’t be happier with the job. Quick response to our call, ability to get us scheduled quickly, thoughtful communications, and a wonderful, complete job.

My couch and bar stools are 8 years old, and this was their first cleaning. Brian worked over 4 hours and had them looking better than new. Brian is a true subject matter expert in the art of upholstery cleaning. He took the time to thoroughly protect the surrounding area and made sure I was satisfied before removing his equipment and cleaning the work area. Great experience with accountable carpet. Very responsive. Brian showed up at the scheduled time and did a fantastic job in our high rise, two floor condo, which was not easy. We had just moved in and the carpets hadn’t had a professional cleaning for quite some time. It’s clear Brian took pride in his work and it was important to him that we were satisfied. The owner also followed up to be sure we were happy. Overall a great experience. I will use them again.

Shane came to my house and cleaned my recliner and one of our couches. He was friendly and professional and quick. It took about 2 hours. We have two big dogs who have their run of the house and he was able to clean the furniture to the point of looking brand new. I would definitely recommend him and use him again.

Steve and Shayne are so awesome at what they do. Their work is immaculate. We’ve had them come 1 every year to carpet clean, clean our sofa and outdoor furniture. They pay extra attention to detail and make sure that everything is as perfect as can be. We have a dog and young kids and things get dirty super quick. It’s worth every penny.

Shane, the owner of Accountable Carpet responder to me quickly when I reached out to several different companies for estimates. His quote wasn’t the lowest but it was extremely reasonable and his reviews looked great.
He communicated with me directly, gave me an hour window within which to expect him and he arrived in the early part of that time frame.
We’ve had our carpets done several times in the past and have always been left with a few of the deeper stains remaining but Shane was able to clear out all the old spots and stains and left our carpets looking (almost) as good as new. I’m very happy I chose Accountable Carpet Cleaning to take care of us and would recommend them to anyone looking for the best carpet cleaning services in San Diego.

Accountable Carpet was recommended to me by a friend. I needed to have some upholstery cleaned, and I called them in the afternoon after my dog had an accident on my sofa. They had a cancellation so they were able to come the next morning. Brian was great! He was punctual, respectful of the house, and meticulous. Fantastic service!! First time using Shane and Brian and communication prior to the appointment was great and very straight forward. Brian was promptly on time and geez did he do a good job. I honestly don't know why I haven't gotten my couch done sooner! It feels like I have a brand new couch :) :) :) He even helped me sweep up the mess from behind my couch that i forgot to do before he arrived! I messaged this company for a quote to clean a large dog-hair ridden sectional and received a message and a phone call within minutes. Shane guided me through the process, worked within my budget to give me a quote and made scheduling easy.

On the day of, Shane was professional, thorough, and overall a pleasure to work with. He worked around my housekeeper at the beginning and did an outstanding job removing hair and cleaning the couch. It took him 90 minutes less than anticipated and the couch looked amazing (even though he said he wasn’t happy with how much hair he got out, I was!) After he even mopped himself to the door! 10/10 would suggest to friends. :-)

Brian and Shane are great. Very professional, responsive and friendly. Great communication every step of the way. My couch and loveseat look beautiful after the cleaning. They have portable equipment which is a must if you live on the second floor or higher - I called other companies who could not serve me because of my location on the second floor, but these guys got the job done! Very thorough cleaning - every square inch of my couch was cleaned. I highly recommend them!!
