Jason showed up late and without a written estimate for the agreed upon work. We had discussed the job by phone prior and he bid the job at 600 dollars. In a text thread he confirms the job, including the fan, would be done for 600 dollars On August 9, Jason proceeded to install some of the switches upside down. Left messes throughout although I provided a vacuum for clean up. The job included light switches, outlets and 2 ceiling fans. He ran late and needed to come back on August 12 to finish the job. I paid him the $600 dollars plus a $60 dollar cash tip. He did not provide an invoice or receipt. I used Zelle so I have my own record. He showed up an hour late on Aug 12. Jason proceeded to fix the incorrectly installed switches plus install the ones he missed on the 9th. Changed out two fans. We agreed to do another fan for 150 dollars. I gave him a check for that. Again, I requested an itemized invoice. When he left the job one of the fan pull chains did not work. He ascribed this to the fan being cheap. The fan blades were not all turned to the same color finish. I took apart the light and fixed the pull chain. I turned the fan blades so that they all match. The fans had separate wall switches installed at time of construction. He wired them to one switch making the other useless. Also, the four way switches did not operate correctly which he ascribed to faulty home construction. The motion control switch was not installed again and, some of the work from first day that he repaired is still not right. He assured me that I would have an invoice by end of day. Later I receive a text that the billing department was closed. August 13 morning I receive a text that I owe additional 300 dollars for fans and that the billing department will proceed with collections. Again I ask for an invoice. Nothing. I sent screenshot of text where Jason agrees to do the job, including fan, for 600. Nothing, only threats about fees and charges. There is no contact info for the billing department because the phone number provided is Jason's cell. He wants me to contact billing but hasn't provided any contact info. I have asked for it. I have asked for an itemized invoice and receipt for payments made. Nothing. I have asked that he work with me on this. Nothing. Just threats. DO NOT do business with this person. I found his work to be unprofessional and sloppy. The handling of the money end of things is unacceptable. Beware!
