Constraction reviews in Long Beach, California

Called 9 different flooring companies for an estimate. 5 of them showed up. A & E was by far the most professional, responsive and also had the lowest price. They scheduled my flooring within 2 days and completion only took a little more than a day. They did a great job and would highly recommend using them.

We had work done last July, wanted to wait a bit to see how the work held up for this review.

Overall we are satisfied with the work A&E did. They did LVP flooring in most of the house, with new carpet in 3 bedrooms (1,700sqft total house). They also had to rebuild our stairs due to how the previous flooring was bonded. I appreciated their suggestion to doing risers, it looks way better. Everything is still in good condition and we are happy with the products and installation. Karina was very helpful with helping choose a product at their showroom.

Some constructive feedback includes a bit better communication throughout the project and leaving the job site pristine. There were carpet fibers all over and sawdust in the garage, but was an easy clean up. I'd be at 5 stars with an improvement on those 2 items.

Been working with this Company for many years. A & E "definitely" have gone beyond carpet and flooring... They are the absolute best ONE STOP SHOP for all you needs when doing a remodel. Big job, small job... what a great team they have. Erick is always more than helpful and Karina is wonderful to work with and Junior is moving up quickly in my books! Great to work with your team! If I could give them negative stars, I would. I called my property management company to fix some tiles and some grout that was coming out of the floor. They said this company would call me. They never did, so I called to schedule an appointment. I spoke with Erick, he aske me to text photos of what needed to be fixed on a Friday. I sent the pics and asked when he would come out, and he said he would ckeck and get back to me. Then he called me Monday at 3pm asking if he could come out now to fix it. His workers came out, assessed, and then left. Erick called me and said they would come back tomorrow (Tuesday) since they dont make the same color tiles anymore. He texted me an hour later saying he couldnt do Tuesday anymore. He confirmed for Friday 9am. It is now 1130, and no one showed up, no call, no text, and in a previous review, he says an hour grace period, not just never showing up! How disappointing. Please take your business literally anywhere else if you want to avoid this nonsense. I fixed the floor myself instead of using them.

This company is amazing! They completed a job for our Church hall floor and they were punctual, professional, patient and so easy to work with. They did a beautiful job and after researching for so long, the quality and quantity exceeded our expectations AND Eric was very empathetic to our budget and what we needed to get done. I don’t recommend anyone else but A&E for your flooring needs but they also are skilled in other areas too.

Just got my carpet done love it. They are very respectful. I am pleased with my carpet. They did a damn good job they was on time was not late and I will be calling them again To do my two rooms thank you so much. 😊

Extremely poor customer service. I set the same appointment twice. The woman scheduling the appointment couldn’t remember we already scheduled an appointment. I scheduled the same appointment again. No one arrived I had to call them to find out what was going on. Was told the guys were finishing a job then would be on their way. I then received a phone call stating it wasn’t necessary for them to come out to measure anything because from the pictures I sent them they would have to replace the entire floor. An estimate had already been submitted for the replacement so they canceled the appointment. I’m not sure why I wasn’t notified of the cancellation but this was a huge waste of time for me. I don’t know what their work is like but the customer service is not good!
