Reached out to New Light initially for a panel upgrade as we had a very outdated/unsafe panel. Jose came by our home to check things out and answer our questions.

Jose, from the beginning, was very kind and explained to us the technical side as well as our options. We learned a lot from him. Jose was patient with us as we discussed our options and was always available for questions.

At the end, we went with a panel upgrade, removing overhead wires to the garage and placing underground, adding an exhaust fan to the bathroom, running to new circuits to major appliances, installing correct brackets/cieling fan mounting, and various other junction box improvements for safety. We believe they did a great job patching the areas that needed to be patched where the panel was changed.

While safety was our priority, we did have to consider prices while we were shopping around. Jose was what made us really want to choose New Light Electric, but his prices were an added bonus.

We feel safer in our home now. Would recommend them to anyone who needs major work as well as small projects. We truly feel like we found someone we always want us to help us with our electrical needs.

I have contacted several local electrical companies regarding a new 200 amp circuit panel upgrade for a quote. In all honestly, none of the electrician I talked to came close to New Light Electric pricing that was offered by Jose (owner) who also took the time to provide me with details (step-by-step) of the work involved which he presented in writing up front. He even wanted to wait on getting paid until the job is done and inspection of his work by the city has been approved.

Jose’s team did an outstanding job and finished the work ahead of schedule. The next day, Long Beach City did the inspection and signed off on the work without any issue. His company is well managed, honest and will stand behind their work.
