Like a good mechanic or accountant, once you find a good Electrician you want to hang on to them forever. This is how I feel about Joseph at Ampworx. He helped me move a light switch to the other wall, changed older fixtures and installed track lighting. He was friendly, knowledgeable, talked me through the process (patiently because I'm pretty naive when it comes to all things electric) and at the end of the day made huge efforts to work within my budget. I have an older home, with all sorts of dated wiring and other eccentricities and he made his way through them with ease. I highly recommend Ampworx for your electrical needs!!

I needed an electrician when my light switch failed. Joseph was very responsive and accommodated my availability. He replaced the switch quickly and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely call him again for future electrical work.

Joseph recently came to fix an emergent problem with my AC. It was a bit tricky to get to the bottom of the issue, but in the end he was able to diagnose the problem and the AC has been working beautifully ever since. Not only did he put in the effort to figure it out, but it was all done at a very reasonable price! And he was so courteous and professional!

Joseph just spent 2 days at my home installing 5 new lights and a fabulous outdoor lighting system. He had to navigate old wires and updates where he could. When it comes to electrical work, you want someone who knows what they are doing. Like many of you, budgeting for electrical is never in the cards. But you also don’t want to gag when you hire someone and they can’t understand that money is tight. Like, I literally need a breakdown on projects sometimes. “What is the immediate issue?” “What can we save money towards for the near future?” I’m sure I’m not the only one, but I’m THAT customer.

I recommend him for all your electrical needs, and always text my inner circle his info if they need help. I’m middle-aged and have zero time to deal with half-ass work and “cool” guys. Joseph was brought in by my landlord to check in on an issue with my power, breakers, and wiring. Also, extensive work with our panel. Excellent work. Answered all questions. Finished the job quickly. Even spent time making sure the level 2 charger was working and programmed for my car. Great job done by Joseph at Ampworx Electric. After reading several excellent reviews, I decided to contact him, and everything people said was absolutely spot on. He was kind, easy to communicate with, flexible with my schedule, and very reasonably priced.

He took care of several small electrical jobs for me, including a couple of hot spots I had been worried about. When he arrived, he got right to work and immediately understood what needed to be done. When it turned out I didn’t have a couple of the items required for the repair, he went to the store himself, picked up exactly what was needed, and came back to finish everything the same day. I honestly didn’t expect it to be completed so quickly.
