Lauren is the best front "man" a company could hope for. I asked countless questions which she answered promptly, comprehensively and graciously.

John, the lead tech, was excellent. He let me know that he was able to arrive early and continued to reassure me every step of the way. He was thorough, proactive, knowledgeable; and very important to me, he treated my home as if it were his own.

Chimney sweeping is not a clean job and yet, my home looked as pristine as ever when he was finished.

Did our fireplace and chimney inspection when we purchased our home 2 years ago, along with a quote for needed repairs. A couple years go by and we followed up. To our surprise they honored their quote from two years prior! Frankie worked with us every step of the way on scheduling and questions. When the day came the two workers took care of protecting our living room furniture, cleaned the chimney, resealed the box, and cut a new floor for the base. Finished in a single day and were super polite and professional throughout. Even cut us a new handle for the one side of our fireplace doors. I'll be using these guys from now on.

Oh my, if I could give 10* I would give 20*!!!!! From the beginning, I’m moving into a new house built in 1937 with a fireplace that had never been cleaned. The top of the chimney had been repaired after the earthquake in 1970. There were existing gas logs with a gas line not to code. The inside of the fireplace has never been swept and was deemed a fire hazard. I called the Chimney Guy and a man named John came out. His knowledge was extraordinary, a master at chimney repairs, he knew what I could do and not do to use my gas fireplace. First he referred me to a plumber who would bring the gas line up to code. Then he scheduled a team of men, Abel and Mario, to come out and do any and all repairs including sweeping and apply fresh mortar inside. What a duo!!! These two worked tirelessly cleaning, repairing all that this old fireplace needed. They were so accommodating throughout the process, an absolute pleasure to work with. When finished, everything was cleaned up, a fire burning inside bringing this old brick and mortar fireplace back to life!!!! Thank you John, Abel and Mario! Use these guys, you won’t regret it!

Lance came out to do an inspection on my chimney as I was certain the water stain/ leak on the ceiling of my house was a chimney issue. Nope, it was not and Lance was so honest after a thorough inspection he let me know it was a flashing (roofing) issue. He did tell me that my chimney cap has seen better days but it was solid and would be fine if I chose not to get a new one. He also found a few other things that could be tended to but were not critical.He never once tried to sell me on something I didn’t need. That’s rather AMAZING! So the short point to my long story is that Lance and The Chimney Guy company operates on honesty, which I highly value. Thanks so much, Lance. I will call you in the future, for sure!!

The chimney guys are awesome. They did my inspection before I purchased and installed fireplace after. Their work is thorough and professional. And they were here for me on quick notice before Christmas. Thanks Louis and Lance for everything.

This is a great firm for cleaning chimneys. The technician was pleasant and did a good job. He cleaned out the chimney of all the soot and other stuff. The fireplace operates a lot better now that the servicing is over. The house feels cleaner and safer. The technician gave good advice on how to care for it in the future. Very highly suggest.

Technician arrived saying he did not speak English and used a translation app to communicate. He said my chimney needed a "deep" cleaning and charged extra, but when he finished the chimney still looked dirty. He didn't clean out the fireplace overflow. He didn't give me a choice of caps for the top of the chimney, and installed a cheap black cap. He told me I needed flashing for around the chimney and roof joint, but the flashing job was sloppy and part of it is not adhering to the roof. He was more concerned with selling me more services and with getting me to sign the agreement and give him a check which I did. I sent a text and a website message about not being happy with the job, yet have not heard back from them.

Quality service and attention to detail. The guy explained everything and worked quickly. The chimney is clean and safe. Good overall experience.

Call these guys if you haven't had your chimney swept yet this season. They did a great job getting rid of the creosote and told us exactly how to keep our woodstove working well.
