Very good experience, and very professional team. I had some issues with my breaker they were able to assist with. Very reliable and good communication.

I was initially interested in this company because they participate in the SGIP program, which offers rebates for solar or solar + battery storage. The idea sounded great, especially since the rebate would cover a large portion of the cost. However, I have some serious concerns that others should be aware of.

One major issue was the contract terms regarding battery ownership. The contract stated that after 15 years, I would have the option to purchase the batteries at market value. But when I spoke to a company representative over the phone, they told me the buyout would only be $0 to $1. If that’s true, why wasn’t it written clearly in the contract?

When I raised this concern, I received no clear response. It feels like the company is being evasive or not fully transparent. They highlight the “too good to be true” parts of the deal, but avoid addressing the long-term implications or giving solid answers. This lack of honesty and poor communication is troubling.

People need to be cautious — the deal might look appealing upfront, but unclear contract terms and unresponsive support could lead to problems down the road. Don’t make a long-term decision without asking a lot of questions and getting everything in writing.

At first I was skeptical because nothing is free, but the representative I spoke with walk me through the process on how it works and was very helpful. Now, I'm in the waiting process which could take up to about a year. It's real and I would recommend.

Update: A few hours later, I received a email stating my electricity company wasn't compatible and my application was closed. Now, I'm thinking I might of gotten scammed and they have my personal information.

I have just signed the documents for Haven Energy to begin the process of approval and scheduling battery installation. Ezra was patient and answered my many questions. I am looking forward to working with all involved. So far, I have confidence that they will deliver.

The very aware before you share information with this company. There are system prequalified me as low-income. Because I am unemployed. What they don't tell you is that you need to be income, qualified for several years. They used this tactic to get nothing more from you than you a referral

I did not qualify (based on 2024 income) for their amazing offer of installing a free battery if you already have solar, and free solar+battery if you have neither (SGIP program), but the program is well run, easy to understand, and most of all FREE. Darren was honest about what the program can and cannot do, and about the waiting list for funds to become available and installation times possibly taking 12-18 months, but this is a real program, that is a win-win for everyone in California who qualifies.

I am truly grateful to the Haven Energy team for their professional knowledge and extensive experience. They are not only highly capable, but also approachable and responsive. No matter what questions arise, they always provide timely, detailed, and patient answers, carefully explaining technical knowledge that has given me a much deeper understanding. Many thanks 🙏

I’m in the process of applying for the SGIP solar/battery program. Shelby Payton was extremely clear about how the program works and what steps we needed to take. Mostly it seems like they take care of everything. We are really looking forward to this and having Shelby as our guide. She really inspired confidence.

Communication was on point with my experience. My handler kept me in the loop every step of the way - I even had to pause the installation for a couple months due to a personal matter and it still got installed and PTO'd. I'm very happy with my new battery!

I have to say I was a bit hesitant to start an application for solar panels. A lot of uncertainties in the beginning but Andrew was very patient going over everything with me and starting the process. He was very detailed, thorough and professional. I’m very pleased I came across someone like Andrew that really enjoys helping customers and for that Haven energy won a new costumer.
