    My expierience with DMC started out great, I had them come take a look at my studio, told them what i needed to get done, and they said no problem they can do that for me. I gave them the CFM calculation the City of Manteca provided me, and they sent me a quote for a permit + fan installation at a different CFM, I was confused but figured they knew what they were doing when they reassured me it was correct. I signed the contract + paid deposit with them in Febuary 2021 after they thought they finally figured out the correct CFM for the fan. (This process started December 2020),They turned plans into the City and then sent me a change order a month later 3/4/2021 for an additional cost to draw up certain plans the city was requiring. I agreed to the change and signed the contract for the additional charge, and paid that change order invoice in full. They turn back in the plans, and issue me another change order, because they had gotten the CFM wrong, so it was now another additional cost. At this point I was frustrated that i had already put a good amount of money down on the project and the price kept going up. i was sent this change order requiring a larger fan since they got the CFM wrong on 3/19 and they got back to all of my questions by 3/29 They told me the fan would arrive by 4/6 so installation would be that week. I signed the last change order 4/5 and i reached out to them that day telling them i signed it, and reached out again 4/11 with no response from them since 3/29. They finally got back to my 4/13, 7 days after the fans estimated arrival, and told me installation would be tomorrow 4/14 and 4/15. So with less than 24 hours notice I got to my studio by 9am for installation 4/14. They had someone come install the fan 4/14 and the technician told me someone would be by tomorrow for the electrical, thought he was unable to give me a time. I emailed them again and they gave me a time window the night before. I showed up early again and they ended up coming that morning, I was told by the technician there would be inspectors coming the next day, but he wasn’t sure of the time and said donald would reach out to give me a time. I emailed again asking if there was supposed to be an inspector coming They said they’d let me know that morning. They never let me know and inspector showed up at 8am. Luckily i was there. Overall my expierience was extremely frustrating as far as how long the process took, how many additional costs there were to the original estimate, as well as the lack of communication when it came to scheduling.
