Set an appointment early in the morning on the website and had a tech here within about an hour. Snaked the kitchen drain that I was having an issue with and cleared it relatively quickly.

Arrived an hour before scheduled time, finished the job quickly and cleanly! They were great.

I can't say enough good things about Travis S., Matthew M., Sebastian G., and Cooper R. from the Modesto/Manteca Roto-Rooter team. They are absolute heroes! For over a year, my home warranty company failed to fix our broken basement sump pump or even inspect it!

The Roto-Rooter team, with Matthew as my main point of contact, was incredibly responsive. They showed up on a Sunday night to diagnose the problem. The next morning, they called to let me know they had an emergency but would still arrive within their promised time window. Their communication was great! They confirmed the need for a new pump and gave me an estimate on the spot. The part was ordered that same day and installed the very next afternoon.

Every single person was kind, respectful, and genuinely a lovely human being. They were completely knowledgeable in their trade and went above and beyond by giving me invaluable tips on how to talk to my home insurance and warranty companies about the problem. Their professionalism and expertise are unparalleled. If you're in a tough spot with plumbing, these are the people you want to call. I'm a customer for life!

I had a great experience with Roto-Rooter when they repaired a sewer issue at my rental property. They were prompt, professional, and communicated clearly throughout the process. I called at 7pm and was scheduled in the very next morning with a range of 8am-12pm. I got a text with a picture and name of whom I was to expect. Marcus shows up with a fist bump and a smile. He gave me an estimate that had 3 choices and I choose Door Number 2. My kitchens sinks were draining like new within 2 hours. Marcus also shared tips to keep the pipes clear, he engaged with my teenage son, he told me I had a year warranty on the work he did and then he was on his way. 5 stars all day! Nice to have a big name not have small service.

I recently had a service visit from Roto Rooter, and while I appreciate the technician's punctuality, my overall experience left much to be desired. The technician arrived on time, which is always a plus, and I explained that we were having issues with a stuck shower valve.

He immediately got to work trying to remove the valve, and I could see he was putting in a lot of effort. However, after an hour of trying, he informed me that he was unable to remove it. I understand that some plumbing issues can be quite challenging, but I was taken aback when I received the bill for $555 for this service.

Given that the problem wasn’t resolved, I feel the charge was excessively high for what ultimately turned out to be a fruitless attempt. I expected a more reasonable fee, especially since the issue remained unresolved. I appreciate the technician's effort, but the pricing left me dissatisfied. I would recommend potential customers to discuss pricing and expectations upfront to avoid similar frustration.

Marcus is an extremely hard working man!!
I would use him again! He was patient in explaining what he was doing. Even if I had to ask him to explain something that I wasn’t sure of.

Christian was awesome and solved my issue right away. He was so great even my cat who usually goes and hides under the bed when people arrive.

Both Marcus and Travis did a great job and were efficient in solving my plumbing problems. I had called a different plumbing company and to solve the problem they were suggesting having the entire bathroom gutted, re do the plumbing and according to the plumber, under his professional knowledge, could not guarantee the problem would be solved. So of course I said Yes to Marcus and Travis from Roto-Rooter when they offered me a solution that was thousands less and did not involve doing anything to the restroom. I still think that the price was a little high, but isn’t it always when you have to pay… I was very satisfied with the job they did.

The two men were very informative as to what needed to be done and very helpful and helping us get everything we needed in order to have it covered. Excellent representatives of your company.
