I took a closer look today and found, on the second carpet, some of the substance in more than one of spots to be cleaned (the missed substance was deeper, closer to the base of the carpet), but not hard to find once we’ll-lit. Very obvious remains left of the original substances to be removed. I was able to easily remove it with a spray bottle of handsoap and a rag.(End edit)
I wish they had mentioned that we would need to stay off the rug for 6+ hours. I would have just waited to do it on Monday. On Friday, we suddenly needed some spots on our area rugs treated ASAP, or over the weekend. They were the company available soonest. My spouse was happy with the service we got from Sean (or Shawn?). That said, the price ended up quite a bit higher than I was told at first over the phone. We added a couch to the work load once he arrived, and I believe my spouse said she discussed with Sean and agreed to have him do a deeper level of cleaning than they had originally quoted me. All in all, we are guessing that the price was probably about the same as we would have paid with one of the other companies.
