I was very pleased with the professionalism of the management and crew, communication, speed of completion, and quality of work. I had them do an ADA compliance construction at a gas station in San Fernando, and I highly recommend this company for any construction needs.

When I first met Mike Schaeffer, I was impressed by his knowledge of the ADA code and requirements. Unlike the other RFP’s I had received with all of them listing out the cost of demolishing concrete sidewalks to pour new ones, ProTrk Construction insisted that they could repair the existing sidewalks to the ADA requirements. I was skeptical but curious because along with their different approach, their proposal was significantly lower. I decided to go with Protrk for the repair work and the installation of a new ADA path of travel to the city sidewalk. Their professionalism onsite, their organized work, and their communication with not only myself but the property’s business tenants were surprisingly excellent. Mike Schaeffer's statement about being an ADA specialist and not just a contractor was true in my experience. Last but not least, their precise results backed up with the defensive documentation of their adherence to the ADA guidelines were appreciated by my firm and will serve our clients well in the future.

This company is the gold standard for an ADA construction company. I am a retired County building inspector and former Chief Building official with lots of experience with "wanna be" ADA contractors. Currently, I run a private CASp consulting service and work with many construction companies. Protrk is among the most professional and exacting companies I have worked with. ADA work MUST be precise or you'll be doing it over and no one can afford that. The attention to detail Protrk takes is top flight. With a deadline of only 4 weeks to get the job done, Protrk Construction company made it happen! The job performed included, drawings, permits, meeting with city engineers, and a CASP sign off. We could not have been happier with the friendly and professional service Mike has provided for us! We are a small nonprofit preschool that had been working on our ADA entrance for a few years. We found Protrk Construction online and requested an estimate for a small commercial parking lot. They were not the cheapest bid; however, they understood that there is no room for error when it comes to ADA work. Mike assured us he could get the job done and he did just that. I spent several months looking for a company to do the repairs. Most companies were either to busy to even bid the work or just simply never even responded. I don't even know where to start. I was struggling, trying to find a company that would help me with my ADA complaint. I was referred to Black Diamond by my landlord because they worked on her parking lot and I tried reaching them but they've continuously delayed their response. After a month and a half of radio silence, we discovered ProTrk Construction. After discussing with Russ Rocchi about the issue we were facing, both his response and customer service was phenomenal. That's when I realized I found the right team. I requested if they could meet my deadline, strange weather aside (this includes heavy rain for 2 weeks). If I could give Protrk Construction more than 5 Gold Stars, I definitely would. I needed to make my parking lot ADA compliant and the work performed by Protrk went beyond my expectations. Bruce, the onsite supervisor is the definition of hard work and professionalism. Not only did he and his team do an amazing job in correcting the compliance issues I had but Bruce went above and beyond the scope of work. Small business owners know all too well the slew of ADA lawsuits by Drive-by litigators. We just wanted to comply and correct the claims and move on with our lives and business. Protrk was not the cheapest bid. There were bids for the ADA compliant parking to be done in asphalt, without permits, that were around 30% less. Deciding factors:

• Plans ( West Hollywood wants to see plans for everything. The plans get plan-checked and stamped approval. We felt the more departments approved each phase of the job, the more assured the job was done right.)

• Permits ( We didn’t want to stress on getting popped and penalized, more assured compliance by the book)

• Materials ( concrete with rebar is much more stable and the warranty on workmanship and materials was from double to three times what asphalt companies offered.

Our Protrk experience was provided by Mike Schaeffer, who worked with us on the contract proposal and managed our account. Mary B Welch also managed the project and updated us each week. Todd Leach did the invoicing and accounting. Communication was reciprocated promptly.

Overall, working with good people, by-the-book compliance, quality of work and materials, informed our value based decision.
