Reviews of local pros in Modesto, California

Rodney from the very beginning was great and gave us a very reasonable quote compared to the other companies we contacted. We decided to go with Clark's and are extremely glad we made that decision. His crew was very respectful and did an outstanding job. They cleaned up and disposed of everything that was cut down. We would definitely recommend them for your trees service needs.

Dustin Clark and his crew made quick work of taking out some Privet trees and ground down the stumps in my backyard. Clean up was meticulous too. They even skimmed my pool from the debris. Great attention to detail!

I just had a great experience with Clark's Tree Works!

I had recently moved into a new home with a yard that was very overgrown, and I was feeling quite overwhelmed when I thought of all the work I wanted to do.

I typically take a DIY approach to most things, but I decided this was a job I was willing to pay a professional to do.

The first thing I look for when considering a business to hire is good communication. Clark's Tree Works actually answered their own phone when I called, and kept their word every step of the way.

Rodney, the owner, came out to give me an estimate on the work I wanted, and provided a quote on the spot. The work was scheduled sooner than he had anticipated - another plus!

When the work was done, I was so happy with the results!
I had some trees and other plants removed as well as having the stumps ground. Rodney and his team were in and out of here in less than two hours. Everything on my list was completed just as I had requested, and the yard was cleaned up beautifully before they left. They were even careful to not damage the existing drip irrigation system which I very much appreciated.

Rodney is a true professional who is really on top of his game.
If you need tree work done, consider Clark's Tree Works. I will be referring this company at every opportunity!

Thanks again Rodney and team!

We can’t say enough good things about Clark’s Tree Works. From beginning to end, Rodney and his team were great to work with. They gave us a reasonable quote and got us scheduled quickly. They arrived on time, did a great job trimming back our 2 big sycamore trees and cleaned up the place like they were never here. We will be using them again for any future tree services we need.

Clark’s tree service was absolutely great! They arrived on time. They were knowledgeable about the work that needed to be done and fully informed us. The trees looked great afterwards and they cleaned up meticulously. We intend to go with them again for sure!

Clark's did an outstanding job of trimming my California Bay Laurel trees in my back yard. They were friendly, courteous and cleaned up thoroughly after they were done. I would highly recommend them.

Great service! Team arrived right on time! Very polite, friendly, and courteous! Did a stellar job! All leaves and debris cleaned up…cleaner than when they arrived! Removed several trees…turned out great! Trimmed back some trees…also great!! Wonderful experience!

This was our third visit with Clark’s Tree Works and they delivered excellent work. We have very very tall palm trees. They come in climb those palm trees get the work done. They are fast, efficient and professional. Very friendly. They clean your back yard when they’re done and they take all the tree trimmings. They even cleaned my pool. Dillion and his crew are excellent. Oh did I mention that I called to schedule the work to be done with Rodney and he got us in the very next day. I highly recommend Clark’s Tree Works .

Major projects - removal 11 large red woods, over 15 other smaller trees.

No structural damage as trees were close to pool and home.

Friendly family owned.

I will use this company for my next landscaping project.

Clark’s tree works is awesome they are fast clean and professional. They made my palm trees look beautiful.

I had them out to trim, and to cut down two trees. They did a wonderful job and cleaned up, as well as left the firewood for me in neat piles. The price was very reasonable, and Rodney was amazing keeping me in the loop with timelines and progress throughout the entire job. I would highly recommend them.

Before and after pics of my beautiful tree, I reluctantly had to cut down. I highly recommend Clark's Tree Works. I wanted to save remnants of my tree and the owner gladly, without hesitant, did it for me. He has a great crew working with him! I am thankful. Over & above satisfied with Clark's services.

I have now been a customer of Clark’s Tree Works for many years. And there is a reason I continue to call Rodney and his team back every time I need tree work done, which is a regular cycle for our neighborhood. As a residence in the college area, maintaining the beautiful trees of our neighborhood is not a chore but a responsibility that we accept as a gift and blessing. And to turn that work over to just any tree company, would never be an option. Clark’s Tree Works is professional, highly skilled, extremely courteous, and very responsive. In a day where someone’s word and handshake doesn’t mean much anymore, it’s a good feeling to know that there are quality businesses out there like Rodney Clarke and Clarke’s Tree Works! Thanks for another beautiful job!

Rodney and his crew did an excellent trim ion my tree. They were quick and efficient. They cleaned up and left my property in great condition. I would Definitely recommend Clark Tree Works..

Rodney Clark is amazing to work with! Not only knowledgeable, but also friendly, and gets the job done including the clean up! My tree looks so much better now and the best part was that there was no leftover clean up for me to deal with! They respected my property by moving the few things that maybe in the way, that I was not even sure would be. I will definitely use Clark's Tree Works again!

Clark's Tree Works crew was here today and we are very happy with the job they did! They showed up on time and trimmed three trees for us! When the job was done, they cleaned up everything in our yard. In fact, we can't even tell they were here today! We had gotten three quotes from other companies and their price was the best! We highly recommend them and we'll use them again in the future!

Clark's tree service cut down three coastal oaks on our property and ground the stumps. They also pruned our two big sycamores. They were very professional, respectful of our property, and cleaned up everything. They were fairly priced. We were very satisfied and would highly recommend them to anyone. Thanks for a great job.

Highly Recommend Clark's Tree Service.

Shoped around for different tree service companies and more than happy with this company.

They were VERY professional, skilled and approachable individuals.

Had them trim 5-Bay Laurel trees in my backyard that were 4-years over due for trimming. They were very careful and attentive to my property and all my neighbors property as they had to go into other people's backyards to get tree trimmings. They left my property and my neighbors very neat and clean.

I am very happy with the end product. The owner and his crew were a pleasure to work with and they do very good work at a reasonable cost.

An experienced company whom I'm looking forward to working with again in the future.

Once again Clark’s Tree Works team came through for another tree service. Just like their last visit I was given a great price this time it was to remove a redwood. They were efficient left the area the same way it was when they arrived minus a huge redwood. Thanks again for the fine tree service.

Rodney his son and their team trimmed our sycamore tree. From the start Rodney accommodated a quote after hours as I get home from work late. They were very informative on the trimming that was going be done on this type of tree. They were on time for my appointment, efficient and cleaned up and left my yard cleaner than when they arrived.

Our tree is good for another 3yrs.

Thanks Rodney and team

We recently hired Clark’s Tree Works to trim our three tall Queen Palm trees, and we couldn’t be more impressed with the results. From start to finish, the team was professional, efficient, and clearly experienced.

Also need a shout out to owner, Rodney Clark! I was genuinely impressed how quickly responded to my inquiry - within just 3 minutes! Not only that, he scheduled my appointment within 2 days, which was incredibly convenient. His customer service was exceptional, efficient and friendly! It's rare to find a company so attentive and nice to work with. Highly recommended!!

I can’t say enough good things about Rodney and the team at Clark’s Tree Service!
Rodney came out to prune our huge palm tree and did an absolutely fantastic job. He was professional, careful, and clearly knows palms inside and out—the tree looks healthier and cleaner than it has in years. What really impressed me was that they hauled away every single frond and all the debris without me even asking. The yard was spotless when they left!
True professionals from start to finish—punctual, friendly, fair pricing, and exceptional work. I’m already telling all my neighbors and friends about them. If you need tree work done right, call Rodney at Clark’s Tree Service. Highly, highly recommend!
