This guy Todd B. Freeman Electric, CSLB NO. 582187 who also goes by Affordable Electric, Heating and Air Conditioning is a real piece of work. I contracted with him last week to fix heaters in an apartment building in Redland. He agreed to go out for a fee of $200.00 and make recommendations on repairing the heaters and then would apply the $200.00 to any needed repairs. I agreed. He asked me to send him a list of all the tenant's names and phone numbers and I did right away. The next day, I called him, he said that he doesn't know if he received my eMail as he's been too busy to check. I said that's fine and he agreed to check his eMail and respond in within about the next 30 minutes to an hour. I told him that was fine, and we hung up. The next day, I realized that he never responded to my eMail, so I called him. He never answered. I tried calling several times over the next few days and finally reached him by phone today. When he answered he said, "oh you"? He then began to tell me that I should get a hint. He informed me that even although he contracted with me, I should have gotten a hint that he didn't want the job even although he agreed to do the job and my tenants are waiting for him. I would not trust anything this guy tells you. He is not truthful and not reliable. Even although his ad on craigslist says, "We Show Up", that's NOT true. He doesn't show up at all and to make it worse, he strings you out and then tells you later that he's not showing up. Because he contracted with me and failed to show up, I will also be filing a complaint with the CSLB. Again, please BEWARE!! This guy and company are NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!

Very reliable, honest and great pricing! Julian was very friendly and easy to work with. He fixed my AC after 2 other companies were not able too.

I recently had my AC serviced by Julian from THERMOKEEN and had a solid experience from start to finish. I first reached out through their website and got a response within 24 hours. What stood out right away was that Julian was willing to communicate over email before I committed to anything. A lot of companies push for phone calls and won’t give clear answers upfront, so having everything in writing made the process feel more transparent and easier to trust. Pricing was in line with other quotes I looked at, but what really set him apart was the guarantee on his work. He clearly explained that the work he performed would be covered for a set period, and if anything related to that work needed to be checked, he wouldn’t charge a service fee. If a completely separate issue came up, then the standard fee would apply, which is fair. It’s rare to find someone who’s willing to stand behind their work in writing. That level of confidence and accountability made the difference for me. I’d recommend THERMOKEEN, especially if you value clear communication and knowing exactly what you’re getting.

Great service, would recommend to anyone looking to get their AC unit maintenance or diagnosed. Ended up needing a Freon recharge on my unit, pricing was fair. Honest work and fair with pricing, definitely a return customer on my end.

E320Air came highly recommended. Now, I know why and it is in my contacts. Will be using going forward. Confidence in Edward. Responsive and prompt. Professional, knowledgeable, personable, and very fair pricing. Had planned to get several estimates, but didn't need to.

Frequently asked questions
-
Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing providers is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, active, and matches the category it claims. For regulated trades, we look for proper credentials, and inactive listings are hidden automatically.
-
How do I choose the right contractor?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then compare the services offered, location, and response time. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes — not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update your services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the HVAC directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. This page, for example, is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
How often should I have my air system serviced?
At minimum, once a year — ideally a spring tune-up before cooling season and a fall check-up before heating season. Systems that run year-round, older units, and commercial systems often benefit from professional service twice a year.
-
Repair or replacement — how do I decide?
Ask each contractor for both a repair quote and an honest assessment of the unit's remaining life. As a general rule, if a repair costs more than a third of a new system, or your equipment is past its expected lifespan and breaking down repeatedly, replacement is usually the better value. Get two or three opinions before a decision this large.
-
Can companies on GigoPro handle emergencies?
Yes — many list emergency and same-day service in their profiles, with stated after-hours policies. Open the profile and check the response-time and availability information before you need it; in a real emergency, filter for companies that explicitly offer 24/7 service.
-
How much does service cost?
Costs vary by region, system type, and job — there is no honest single number. Reputable contractors provide written estimates after inspecting the system, and comparing two or three is the best way to understand what your job should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the company and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs are exactly what helps the next homeowners in your city choose well — and what keeps listed professionals at their best.
