I highly recommend Construction Concerns. We just finished replacing all our windows and a sliding door as well as enclosing our patio to make another interior room. They did an amazing job. I appreciated the craftsmanship and attention to detail. Richard and his team were extremely communicative throughout the whole process. They were a word of mouth referral from our neighbors in our townhouse complex and I have already recommended them to several other neighbors. I would choose Construction Concerns if you are looking for a reliable, trustworthy and fairly priced construction company that does excellent work.

Richard’s team did an amazing job replacing all our windows and a door. We are super happy and in love with how everything looks!

I personally do not recommend this company and that is my God given American right. My interactions were with the owners son Waylen. In my opinion he was very rude and unprofessional for no good reason. His reason is he didn't like repeating himself. Look at all these bad reviews on here. I know I wish I had. CC before you all try to respond with some well articulated response. Save it. You had every opportunity to resolve with me. You chose to be mean, rude and unprofessional. Cease and desist all contact with me.

I've interview many companies and decided to use Construction Concern.That was the best decision I ever made.The quote was very reasonable.My home was completed in a timely manner.They were very thorough and professional.They remodeled my enitre home.I am very excited and satisfied on how consistent they were on meeting their deadline .My house is now a home.My home looks like a piece of art.I get so many compliments.I do more entertaining than ever to show off my home. I would recommend Construction Concern Inc to anyone that ask me ,If I know of a good construction company.Construction Concern Inc is a company that treats you like family including the workers and his office staff.They take everything so personal as if it were their own.They are all so friendly and courteous.

The windows that were installed, are a great quality and are beautiful. They make my house look more modern, It keeps my house at a good temperature and I really enjoyed the professionalism that was showed by their staff.

I've known Waylan since school days. He was a classy character then, and even classier now. I explained what I wanted to have done, and he gave me all the input I needed. I haven't made my choice on which company to hire. But, if I decide to go through with my project, I'm definitely calling him back and having Construction Concern, Inc do the work. Thanks Waylan.

I Was in escrow to sell my house in Culver City. But i am now living In nyc. Shortly after escrow began the covid virus hit the US. My buyers found a leak in the finished basement that seemed to be coming through the foundation. What to do? My Realestate broker got three estimates. Construction concern was who we decided to go with. I was extremely tense, hoping this deal wouldn’t go pear shaped in the middle of a pandemic! So time was of the essence. Richard had his guys dig out the foundation in the front down 8feet, waterproofed the outside wall, replace the soil and the shrubbery in 4 days!!!!!
I deal with contractors all the time. For years. It’s never any fun. This was without a doubt the smoothest most reasonable experience I have ever had. I would recommend Richard and construcion concern to anyone. Who wants an honest, professional hassle free job.

I was referred to Richard Herron of Construction Concern by the realtor who had helped me buy my house. I do not recommend Construction Concern. Here are the reasons:

1. Richard told me that he'd be starting the project in 2 weeks from the time I signed his contract. He did not start within two weeks. Rather, he only started the project after I began complaining how every time I'd ask when they'd be starting, I'd get back some canned response about them starting in 2-3 weeks.

2. Richard said he'd have the project done in 1.5 weeks. Another complete lie. He kept insisting that he was waiting on materials to arrive. That may or may not be true, but regardless, don't say you'll be done in 1.5 weeks if you know you need to order and wait on materials. That obviously affects the project timeline. To give some context, instead of taking 1.5 weeks, the project ran for approximately 6 weeks. That's an increase of 300% to the project timeline.

3. Richard said that the payment structure would be as follows: $1000 deposit, 40% due upon starting the project, the remaining balance due upon project completion. Another falsehood. Even as the project could not be considered finished since we were still waiting on materials to arrive, Richard began asking for the remaining balance (minus $1000, which he would so graciously allow me to pay once he finished everything). WTF? You give me some fake timeline and then start asking for your money despite you not being done, Richard?

4. Despite relaying my ire to Richard, he would only reply and phrase his statements as "I'm calling to clear up any confusion..." Confusion? Which confusion would that be? That I signed a contract with you at the end of March 2019, you were supposed to start by April 15th, and be done in 1.5 weeks, which would be approximately April 25th. The confusion that you advertise yourself as a contractor with decades of experience, but yet can't accurately estimate your timelines nor do you even factor delivery time of materials?

Richard, in his old-timer charm, tries to sound like a sweet, honest guy, but really, he's a bag of sh*t. He charges top dollar, but doesn't provide quality service. He'll tell you about his 30+ years of experience to convince you that he's good at his job. Yeah, whatever, tell that to everyone else who's written a lousy Yelp review on his company. We don't even know how many other customers are out there that did not write a review who are regretful of having trusted Mr. "30 years of experience". Don't hire this company.

Our kitchen flooded and later molded behind the walls leaving us with so much construction needed and out of our kitchen for quite some time. The owners were so helpful during the process and making sure we felt taken care of and heard. We knew all our options and it was handled in a timely and professional manner which I so appreciated. They helped us navigate communication with the insurance and all of things I honestly did not have time for and did not fully understand. Thank you for being so great to us and making what would normally be a stressful and strenuous process as smooth as possible.

I hired Construction Concern to convert my bathtub shower combo into a walk in shower. The craftsmanship was excellent however the customer service and scheduling was extremely disappointing. It took over one and a half months to complete the conversion when it was originally contracted to take no more than two weeks. One day when I came by they were cutting tile on my balcony with the door to my living room wide open coating my entire place with dust! They also installed the wrong door and lied about it. After catching them in their lie they agreed to replace the door and when that day came, they called after they were supposed to arrive to say they would be an hour late. These are some of the many examples in poor scheduling, communication and poor customer service. If you are looking for a construction company that has ANY concern for it's customers STAY AWAY. Save your money and save your time by choosing to work with someone else.

RUN RUN RUN!! Do not use Construction Concern under any circumstances!!!

Richard Herron and Construction Concern engaged in some of the most deceptive and negligent work I have ever encountered. They were over 6 months late in starting the project, 7000 over budget and I had to fire him and his crew for their incompetent work.

Their completed siding project in on our house is going to require over 5k in repairs less than 6 months later.

Richard told me he could use materials that were not on the plans, flew counter to the Santa Clarita Building Department, structural engineer and architect HE HIRED, and when confronted with these inaccuracies, lied to us about the resolution. He installed a door backwards, used the wrong wood and fasteners for the project and poured a concrete footing 17 inches in the wrong direction. (and that is just a few of the examples) He left lumber in our driveway we asked him to take away when he was fired and made it so we haven't been able to use our backyard or front Driveway in over 3 months.

THEN, to top it all off, we just found out yesterday that Richard drilled through the drain line of our master bathroom shower leading to a leak in our wall for the last three months and causing thousands of dollars in damage. Pictures of all my claims are available.

We filed a complaint with the CSLB and when Richard found out he FRAUDULENTLY went and purchased materials under our account at the lumber yard three months after he was fired. Now the lumber yard filed a preliminary notice for materials we never received. We will be pursuing immediate civil and criminal recourse for this fraud.

Use literally anyone else. ANYONE. Do not fall prey to their fast talking.

I have lived in the same house for over 23 years, and I finally upgraded my windows through out the whole house. I also put in a new glass slider for the living room and I also had CONSTRUCTION CONCERN take out my old french doors in the master bedroom and they put in a new slider. I am estaic!!!! I love my new windows and sliders. It changed the look of my whole house. I also got an iron rod screen door for the front door. Richard Herron, the owner of CONSTRUCTION CONCERN took real good care of me. The price was affordable, my house looks beautiful and the installers did an amazing job. I just increased the value of my home, by having New windows and sliders put in on top of a new screen door. I can't believe I didn't do this sooner. I highly recommend CONSTRUCTION CONCERN to everyone.

I love my windows. I got a great price and the guys did quality work. I also had two sliding glass doors put in and they look beautiful. I am very happy And have referred several people to Construction Concern.

. Two main reasons I highly recommend construction concern. The quality of the work was impeccable on a special order very large arched window. My brother ordered the window but he does not have a cell phone or computer so it was difficult for them to contact him for install. I contacted them and they were very accommodating and scheduled us very quickly for the install. They did an excellent job, they were on time and worked efficiently. Communication was excellent.

Not to be trusted!!! Do not move forward with Richard H and his team. He advertises 100% satisfaction guaranteed, yet sold me 18 windows that don’t seal from a poor installation and faulty weather stripping from the manufacturer Anlin. When Richard was approached about the weather stripping he claimed that ‘it looks just fine’ to him. When the Anlin rep arrived they confirmed it was improperly installed and would need to replace it on every window. Richard provided subpar installation service and substandard windows. Guess you get what you pay for! I would never advise anyone to pursue Construction Concerns services as I have grave concerns about the products they represent and the installation/service they provide.

Their entire team and sub-contracters were great to work with especially Mo, the very talented team lead with an infectious smile and a lot of patience. After an amazing introduction, to Anlin windows, from Waylan, I ordered 18 windows. This is why:

The performance and warranty for these windows are a matter of record. The only question was, 'what would the installation be like?' Construction Concern has past reviews that could go either way, but this is a family run local business and Waylan said he would honor a 5 year warranty, on their installation, to put my mind at rest.

The installation crew arrived timely and took 4 days to get the job done. They removed all debris and did their best to honor any request I had. I did have questions about the installation process that Waylan answered promptly. He inspected the work and addressed all of my concerns.

During this process, I discovered many of Construction Concern's employees have been with them for decades and take pride in their work product.

Now I enjoy my mountain top views through beautifully well insulated, fire rated, sound reduction windows.

At more than one point he and his crew members asked if I was completely satisfied.
