It's the New Year weekend, freezing cold and the SCE transformer behind our house just sent out a surge that destroyed our furnace and other appliances for our home and the homes of our neighbors. It's the weekend and I tried calling all the big companies on Yelp, but no one returned my calls.

I finally called Klondike Sunday, and while they couldn't help me on Sunday they were so polite and they invited me to call them Monday at 7am. I called Monday at 7:15 am. They were swamped that day trying to catch up with customers who needed help in the cold. After many searches through their schedule and me being resigned to making an appointment on Tuesday, they surprised me saying the owner himself would come out between 12-3. I was so grateful. We hadn't had heat for the past three nights and it was COLD.

The owner came out, reset the circuit board fuse, replaced the furnace transformer, and then we both saw that the surge had fried the thermostat control. He replaced this too, and now we have HEAT. My wife was so happy when she got home.

Everything about this company is professional and I'm so glad to support a local company like Klondike. Everyone there treated me like a well-liked family member, it's nice to feel taken care of during a stressful situation. I highly recommend them.

Ivan is a GEM! Our AC went out on a hot, summer Sunday afternoon. We reached out on a Sunday and he came the very next morning! He quickly diagnosed the problem and got us back up and running.
