I’ve used NAHS many times for inspections as a real estate agent. They have excellent inspectors, customer service and their systems for scheduling, billing and sending reports is great.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY FOR INSPECTIONS.

We hired Goodlife for home and pest inspections for our very first home based on their glowing reviews. Scheduling was easy and communication was easy. Our inspections were completed on a Friday and we met with the home inspector once he finished. We did arrive 15 mins after they were done due to traffic so we were unable to meet with the pest inspector in person and he did not leave us a card to contact him. We received our home inspection report Monday night and it was perfect. Very detailed and complete. Nothing but a great experience on the home inspection part. However, the pest inspection is a different story.

I called the company on Tuesday to check in on the status of the report and when we would expect it. There were some obvious red flags on the home inspection so our agent wanted to submit a request for repairs to the seller ASAP to stay within our contingency timeline. The company stated that they have a 48-hour business hours turnaround for reports but that they would reach out to the inspector and hopefully get it to me sooner rather than later. The customer service agent mentioned that it was a larger report so it was taking longer. I was kind, patient, and thankful. I did not get the report that day.

I called back Wednesday morning and I was told that the report showed written but it was not proofed/finalized. They also said they spoke to the inspector and that he worked on it through the night and would be prioritizing it today. I was kind, patient, and thankful for the update. I called back Wednesday at 4pm since the business closes at 5pm. I was then told the inspector was experiencing some technical difficulties and that is why it was delayed. The customer service agent gave me Matt, our pest inspector's name and number to contact directly. They said they would also contact him again and that I would have a follow-up from them before 5pm. I never received a call back before 5pm. I also called the inspector's number and my call was ignored (rang twice then went to voicemail). My real estate agent also sent them an email.

It is now Thursday with no report and I had to call the business again to figure out when I am going to receive it. I called and asked to speak to management. The manager was unavailable due to a meeting and I was told they'd contact me after 10am. I will happily update this review once I receive a resolution.

I was very excited to work with Goodlife on this already scary and stressful process of purchasing our first home and now I am deeply frustrated at my current situation. It has been a day shy of a week since my inspections were completed and all I have received is excuses and poor communication. I will not be recommending this company for anything and my agent will recommend all future/current clients to avoid them at all costs.

Good Life was responsible for the pest inspection that we relied on before purchasing our home in Grass Valley. Recently, we had a local company indicate that we had drywood termites and needed to fumigate. One of their general managers, Justin, came out and did another inspection for free and told us there still is no evidence. He went above and beyond organizing a meetup with the other company to discuss their findings. They concluded our house did not need to be fumigated, brought foot coverings for him and the other inspector. Class act. Trustworthy. Saved us lots and lots of money. THANK YOU JUSTIN!

I had a fantastic experience with this extermination service. The team was professional, punctual, and thorough in addressing my pest problem. They explained the entire process and used effective methods to ensure my home was pest-free. I’m already noticing a big difference! Highly recommend their services to anyone dealing with pests.

I was not expecting the level of detail and attention to safety that was provided. My home inspection was completed by Misha Markov and was worth every single penny! Every inch of the home was surveyed with highly trained eyes. Photos were taken to provide accurate documentation of all the areas of concern. Following the inspection, Misha was available to provide a real-time review of his findings and answer my questions. The finalized report is so well formatted with descriptions of all issues and the corresponding photos/videos. The home buying experience can be very stressful; Misha provided me with peace of mind. “Life is good” when you know that you’ve had a very thorough inspection by a company that has your best interests in mind. I’m definitely keeping Misha and Good Life Inspections in my phone contacts list!

I couldn't be more impressed with the service I was provided by GoodLife. The team was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and friendly from start to finish. I called and spoke with Chrisa she took time to thoroughly explain everything and answered all of my questions in great detail. While they might not be the cheapest option, the quality of their services more than justifies the price. It's clear they take pride in their work and want to make sure their clients are well-informed. Highly recommend if you're looking for a reliable and thorough inspection!

Notice this is a 5-star review. I'M pretty frustrated cause the buyers of my house went with Good Life this week and they inspected and found things I did not think to check prior to putting the house up for sale. The inspection was very through and although some of the things they called out was mostly a technicality (Water Heater being 17 years old but in perfect working order), my buyers backed out cause of the number of things they mentioned (They didn't ask about a repair or credit for repair). Overall, they did a great job, and the report is very easy to follow. I'm already about 25% through repairing the things they found. When I get into contract on my new home, I will be calling them to conduct the inspection on it. They earned my business (They better be just as through for me as they were against me lol)

The service the tech provided today was impeccable! Well spoken, courteous, informative, and kind. Sadly I forget his name, but I'll never forget his face or smile!! Sadly I give 4 stars due to the lack of communication, leading me to emptying cupboards, drawers, and under sinks while the tech waited patiently, telling me to take my time. This gentleman deserves to be promoted at best, or a raise at least. Would definitely recommend Good Life, their techs put you at ease, and never make things uncomfortable. Just bought my first home 6 months ago and had good inspection look at my new house before moving in .they said everything is great ... well i have mulitpul outlets thats dont work fireplace needs repair leaks in one of my showers and vents fans stopped working .not using them agaon

Mike is always on time, friendly, professional, very thorough, and really explains each detail. He is also very accommodating. He will walk over the property many times and will answer all your questions. I'm a Realtor and help buyers buy new homes and it's a scary & exciting time for them and they have a lot of questions about the big purchase they are are to embark in, Mike doesn't get annoyed and understands how big of a deal this is for buyers.
