I really dislike writing any bad review but I had to voice my concerns over the very poor treatment from this company. A little over a week ago we had an appointment scheduled in the afternoon. I waited and no one came or called. When I called them they said they called me but I did not answer. I did not get a call! We rescheduled for the following day. No one came, no one called. I left a message on their phone. No one returned my call. I called again and left messages the following week and no one called me back to this day. I even told them that I have gone through at least 5 electricians through the years and was very much looking forward to having this one repair all electrical issues in my house, not a very small job. I selected this company because of the excellent reviews. This was very disappointing and I will go back to my most recent electrician!

Wow so glad to have called Shok Electric !! Was scheduled to come diagnose & fix my power to a room the next day after a phone call . Was right on time with no delay & was very friendly an professional . Price was super affordable and fair . Got my problem tooken care of & fixed in no time ! Shok Electric is a great company Raul, David, and his team did an excellent job to upgrade my current 100 Amps electric panel to the 200 Amps electric panel. Their price is fair and their quality is a five star (*****) quality.
This is what they did for me as a home owner
1: took care of my permit issue with the city and passed the inspection the 1st time since they did everything professionally.
2. Willing to work with me based on my budget and quote me a reasonable price.
3. Label every breaker switch with Professional label maker
4. Fully tested all the electric outlets after all the jobs were completed
5: install electric car charges outlet per my requested. We started with 30 Amps breaker and I asked to change it to 50 Amps breaker. No question asked with the same price.
6. Minimum interruption to the home owner . They worked with city and city inspector. They usually notify me ahead of the time if they need to access my garage for example.
7: they wore mask and extra shoe protection when coming inside my house
8. They are polite and willing to take time to explain it to me if I have any questions or concerns.
9. Invoice and receipt are clearly written. I paid only 10% to start the job and then paid in full after inspection. Great people to work with.
I usually do all my own home works prior to hiring any company for a major project. I felt like I can work with them, trust them and I am sure their quality will always be great/excellent . Raul has over 20+ years of experience in this area of industry. I will highly recommend Shok electric, Azusa to anyone who is looking for a professional installation. I will for sure use them again on my next electric related project.

ON TIME — I called them Friday night and as promised they came the next day!

Right away Raul knew what has happened with our 6 outlets in an instance. He gave me the option plans and pricing as to what I can device which fits best for my house.

Raul and David were amazing! We had a big project running new electric in my condo for ceiling fans in the living room and bedroom. It’s an older building and it was a difficult job but Raul and David persevered and got it done. He is knowledgeable, took the time to explain everything, and was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend! Thanks David and Raul!

Raul was quick to respond to my call. I called to repair an outlet that had been sparking and he arrived same day. He was professional and friendly. He wore shoe coverings and a mask and installed the outlet beautifully. The price was incredibly fair and the outlet was installed and spliced quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend using Shok Electric and would use them again.

Raul and his team were outstanding. My wall panel got fried and needed elections asap. Called at 7 am and his crew was here by 9:30. Other place told me I needed to upgrade and scared me with an $8,000 price tag. Even worked through slight rain!

Raul said he can do a maintenance and said upgrade is not needed. Rewired as I had 20 (something, amps I think) where it should have been 15. His guys were professional, very courteous, reminded me at the end they are family owned. Very good price and left it looking new.

I wish these guys good luck as they were very professional, well dressed (appearance is essential), fast, and well priced.

I have had a great electrician for 15 years locally but he has become too busy and is always in a hurry now of which I understand why. I decided to try Shok Electric based on the reviews and they are not wrong. We are so happy with the work. Lots of transparency around pricing so we were prepared for best or worst case scenario. It turned out to be best. He arrived on time and explained what he was doing so I had a lot of confidence he knew what he was doing. He also took his time which gave me time to ask questions. Additionally, he fixed something small that needed updating and didn't charge extra. I think I have a new electrician!

Shok Electric was recommended to me by a friend, I am glad that she did. Scheduling an estimate for an installation of a plug for my EV was easy. Staff on the phone were informative and professional, they followed up when they said they would and made sure to call before the electrician was due to arrive in my house for an estimate. The pricing for their quality work was reasonable. Staff was respectful of my property, they arrived on time, and work was done promptly. Will definitely work with them again.

David came out to help us with some electrical issues in our garage, and he was great. The price he quoted was fair and he stuck to it. Explained everything and clearly leads with integrity. We'll definitely be calling Shok back the next time we have electrical work on our home.

Be very careful. Takes deposit and then does not do the work. Will not respond and return the deposit.

Chad is literally the BEST! Super professional and passionate about his work! We will definitely be reaching out to him for any other electrical work we may need.

I wouldn't do business with CPA Electric. Chad was referred to me and came with good reviews to service a generator of mine in Lake Arrowhead. He was doing business in the area at the time. All went fine with his tech. The tech said I needed a battery. I said great. Please get it for me and I paid for it ahead of time. That's where things went South. I was waiting for a battery I paid for. I was texting Chad over a period about the status. There was, apparently, issues with the tech. Then, winter hit, so I understood they would not be able to get up the mountain. I was patient. He acknowledged he had my battery in a text and apologized for not being able to get up there. Post winter I started to text again and called at one point, but got no response. I finally get a hold of Chad and now he got aggressive about the whole thing. I just wanted what I paid for. So, I simply asked, at this point, to just get a refund. He pressed to show him a receipt. Unfortunately, after 5 months, I don’t know what happened to the receipt, but I was able to show Chad proof of the Venmo payment and the text dialogue. Chad started calling me a liar about my communications with him and that I was disorganized because I couldn’t find a receipt. Overall, he was insulting and very unprofessional. He still refuses to refund the $200 I prepaid for the battery until I show a receipt even though I show proof I paid him. So BEWARE. In the end, he was very unprofessional and accusatory. I would not do business with Chad at CPA Electric. Move on and find another company. It’s unfortunate people do business this way.

Chad made the whole experience of having a professionally electrician amazing, from the time he pulled up until work was done. He explained his work thoroughly, upgraded on the spot recommendations, maintained professional etiquette. He upgraded light switches, outlets, LED lighting, security cams and more. Chad has fantastic workmanship and gave timely installation on the recessed lighting. His prices are the most reasonable and affordable in the LA area. I highly recommend and will be using CPA electric from now on out. If you’re looking for a honest and professional electrician, call Chad.

Tony and Truth Electric were great to work with. I needed to switch out my electrical panel and fix some outlets. Not only was his quote the cheapest, it was also the most thorough. I had a million and one questions and Tony was patient enough to answer them all. I'll be using his services for additional electrical work in the future.
