Terrible service. They claimed to make the move out of state using their own crew and trucks. Both were false. They loaded into a truck, then unloaded into a warehouse until a third party moving truck brought it to us. Gave us completely false delivery date. Still trying to get paid on our lost and damage claim, four months later. Do not use! Terrible!

Friendly people...but...

3 people showed...and only 2 of them "worked". I had to help them move my piano MYSELF, as guy #3 did not want to do any lifting or physical work...mmm...isn't that what I am paying them for?

My fridge was damaged as the guy why strapped it down pulled the straps too tight, leaving 2 large dents in the fridge. When I brought it up on site, the made no effort to rectify.

Then they furthered by telling me that if I paid each of them $20 CASH...they would make the piano moving fee "disappear"...

I was then overcharged as my deposit was not credited.

I moved in November, and STILL waiting for the insurance claim amount on the fridge damage (It is now April).

Would not use them again.

They got us out of Porter Ranch. It was so stressful and they help every step of the way I want to always call this company for the great deeds they did for me and my family. We been in the storage for three months now and they were great when they picked this up and they were great when they just delivered us yesterday. Mike and Chico were amazing I really appreciate it.

**WARNING** this company is a SCAM! Do Not do business with these people. They charged $3700 to move 900 square feet of stuff from CA to OH and they damaged it. My dining set arrived broken. Broken dishes! Broken Frames! They Smashed and destroyed and lost items too! Said they were going to pay! Went round and round through claims never recvd a dime back! Do not use! You will be sorry! Huge mistake!

DO NOT do business with this company (if they still are in business)......they operate with no integrity- overcharged me on pickup for "phantom" items not on the bill of lading- be careful of the packaging material charges- they quoted me $60 for tape and wrap for furniture- actual bill was over $250 for the tape and wrap. They also lost two of our boxes and to date (5 months later) have not taken responsibility for the $800 overcharge (25%). they have stopped answering emails two months - Jen- Laila will talk a good game, but they never respond. I have left countless voicemails to them, and too many emails to count. They operate with zero integrity, zero customer service mentality, and are absolute crooks. My only hope is that they are out of business and not able to steal from anyone else. If i could give them negative stars, they have earned it. My claim has been in supervisor review for over 3 months- nice delay tactic! save yourself aggravation and money- go elsewhere

10 days past due on delivery date and no return phone calls!! When our stuff finally arrived furniture was all broken, appliances were all badly damaged. Even Equipment that they packed and charged extra for was badly damaged.- all unusable!!! They held our belongings hostage. Refused reimbursement. Please do not use this company!

This company is the worst company of any kind that I dealt with. The person left the job for 1 hour without notifying us also wanted to charge 1200$ to move 1 bedroom apt stuff cross street to the storage. If you got extra money to give them nd looking for headache and court and attorney fees hire them to do you real good. I would like to see those people that left this company good reviews, and asked them if it was really true. Because they made my 80 years old grandmother move the worst move she has ever had in her entire life. STAY AWAY YOU THANK ME LATER.

I was given a time window of 12pm to 3pm for the movers to show up with 30 minutes advance notice. By 3:00 I had not received a call and called the dispatcher. He told me it would be another hour. An hour later I had still not received a call and once again called the dispatcher. This time I was told that it would be yet another 1.5-2 hours before a truck could arrive, if not the next day. After two hours I had once again not received a call and called the driver myself. He told me it would be yet another 20 minutes. They showed up at 6:30pm, 3.5 hours after the end of the window I was given, and with no notice.

The mover's themselves did a great job, but if you want service the same day that you agreed upon you will have to call and pester the dispatcher endlessly. Rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. I only rated two stars instead of one because the movers themselves were polite and fast.

The only thing worse than hiring this company is hiring them twice! When confirming the day before, I had a confirmed morning appointment. Later, changed to "around" 12:30, then 4:30. Arrived at 5:50. Gave me an estimate of $390, which included 3.5 hours, travel time of $42.50 and gas of $50. Plan was to load the van, unload a portion to the new apartment in the same complex, then take the rest to storage. Because they were so late, had to go to storage first, then back to apartment, which I was charged double travel time. I also had to pay the storage company a $50 fine because they didn't finish before 9:00 PM. They insist on cash before unloaded. Threatened to take everything to their storage, with fees, if I didn't pay $855.00 before unloading! Now you know why they insist on cash. I don't know how they can legally get away with this, but I am going to find out!

Everyone seemed polite and eager to help with the move. They sent a truck in a quick time frame. The movers were nice..and after that it goes downhill. I was told that my stuff would arrive around the 28th of December
It is now New years eve and my belongings are still in a warehouse in Hollywood. I have moved to Washington state and have an empty house. Whenever you call you get an answering machine. You leave a message and get no response from any departments except from the booking and quote line. They play dumb and say they will transfer you to dispatch..but it's a smokescreen to get you off their phone line. It always goes to answering machine. Two girls Samantha and Jennifer, if those are real people will give you their "direct cell line" bit is goes to another company answering machine. I talked to a guy Robbie, said he promised to call back with some info on how long, no return call. He just hurried me off the phone to disappear. I feel like this company is a scam and they constantly use different names to hide their real identity. Luckily I videotaped all of my stuff, the movers putting stickers on each item. I read the horror stories and am ready to embrace this company for any missing items in court. I would be aware of the sincere attitude when booking because all communication and service falls flat afterwards. I gave a good review on yelp for the movers for a discount..
I wonder if that's why they have more than one star. Melanie, Jennifer, Samantha, Robbie, and all others I have spoken to should be ashamed of your customer service skills and misinformation the customer just to get their business. My belongings are being held and I'm at the mercy of con artists. What ever happened to workplace pride and integrity? Very dissatisfied to say the least!

They'll sweet talk you and pick your stuff up no problem. After that, it's downhill. The five star reviews here must be fabricated. My stuff arrived late, the delivery driver was wearing filthy clothing, and he had a paid laborer who confessed to being on probation while helping him out. This is the worst company on the planet. My motorcycle was DROPPED. Good thing my insurance company covered that.

I received a lot of calls from moving companies about my move and although acclaimed wasn't the cheapest, I really connected with Avery. She was very thorough with explaining everything to me and wasn't pushy at all like some of the others I spoke to. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical at first but I'm so glad I trusted my instinct and went with them. My items arrived in about 10 days and I only had 1 flimsy frame that was damaged but I packed it myself, other than that, everything else went extremely well!! Definitely recommend.

A disastrous experience. Stay away!

We just moved from Los Angeles to Fort Lauderdale and it has been a rip off. We agreed on a binding quote with NO surprises. Even though we had it in writing, it didn't stop the guys who picked up our stuff to try to get more money from us, pretending that they had a walk an extra few feet to get to their trucks. They also tried to make us pay for extra boxes and material, when our quote clearly stated that it included all packing and material. We paid nearly 6,000 dollars for horrible customer service.
Then the driver who delivered our belongings, refused to do so because he wanted an extra 440 dollars, out of nowhere, again pretending it was a bit complicated to get to the elevator . Which was not the case.

Since Acclaimed movers has no customer service on weekends, we were stuck and had to pay.

They will promise you everything you want, until they get a hold of your belongings.

Then, everything is held hostage and you have no other way but to accept and pay pay pay more.

The Owner, Mr Cohen, is such a coward and was very good at disappearing from the world when problems happened.

Also, the packing was poorly done, bolts and screws from furniture were lost and we couldn't put together the beds.

So again, stay away, the only thing this company should be "Acclaimed" for is their lousy and very expensive customer service.

I had an exceptional experience with Acclaimed Movers And Storage. They were polite, punctual, friendly, and professional. They were patient with my decisions that had to be made, and they worked very quickly. They have professionally trained movers and amazes me how efficiently they move my entire apartment. They knew exactly what needed to be wrapped so nothing was scratched.I will use them the next time that we move.

I hired "Acclaimed Movers And Storage" twice and every time they did their best. The team is well trained and very expert for a perfect moving. They had all the equipment needed, wrapped all my furniture with care, and did all of this in an amazingly efficient timeframe. They never missed any schedule which was awesome. The crew always makes me pleased by their job well done. Thank you so much!!!

Do not count on this company when moving.

I paid the deposit and received a call to confirm the timing of the move two days before the actual date.

The day of the move, Acclaimed Movers called me and canceled due to one of its trucks breaking down. They offered no alternative solution, told me tough luck, refused to compensate me for the truck I was forced to find at the last minute.

It is unprofessional to cancel on a customer the day of the move, with no notice or alternative solution to help.
