I've had two services completed by LA Wrench Plumbing.

A leak within the wall March 2023

The most recent in December 2024, my electric water heater had to be replaced.

I'm a single woman with very little knowledge about plumbing - but I still try to do my due diligence and “shop around” for the best candidate with the most reasonable pricing.

I found the people of this company are the most with honesty, integrity, knowledge and commitment to the service they provide.

Anna the receptionist is very friendly, kind, patient and helpful. Her sunny disposition and follow thru about getting back to me and keeping the lines of communication open put my mind at ease about the process and my options in the jobs that were completed.

Ara is very knowledgeable about his work and thru his experience was able to determine I may just need an electrician to fix the problem with my water heater (long story) AND NOT REPLACE IT!

Ara was ok with him not making A LOT of money off of me and tried to save me money! NO PLUMBER does this!

In the end I opted to replace it.

Roto Rooter and other well known companies quoted me between $2800 - $3200 to replace my water heater!

Anna without knowing how much I was being quoted, came in at a VERY reasonable price!

Of course I took her offer. But I shopped around TO KNOW who and what kind of businesses I'm dealing with.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Ara is one of the best honest and professional plumbers I know. I have a lot of properties and whenever I need a plumber I call him only and if he is busy I will wait for him.

Ara came highly recommended from a great friend whose judgment I trust. I spoke w Ara and he came to my house to give me a free estimate. My wife and I just wanted to change a few fixtures to give the the bathroom and kitchen a fresh look. Ara’s prices were competitive and he is extremely personable and courteous. We had him also redo the calking around the sinks and he also helped repair a shower faucet that I thought I had to replace. I have since referred him to a friend.

I had an emergency situation on a Sunday afternoon and called LA Wrench and Anna was able to quickly set up an appt and within 30 minutes Arra had shown up and began to repair a copper line that I had twisted in half from trying to replace my old faucet. Anna and Arra were very prompt, polite and professional. I will be for sure using them for my future plumbing issues! Thank you Anna and Arra!

Just today, I had Ara over at LA Wrench plumbing come over. He fixed our kitchen sink/bathroom leak the same day. Best maintenance guy in town. The communication was great as well, both from the plumber and office.

A sprinkler head in the back yard sprung a leak (water was shooting 8 feet in the air). Ara from LA Wrench gave an ETA of 30 to 45 minutes but arrived sooner. He capped the broken sprinkler head, traced the source problem and advised us on how to address it. He was prompt, efficient and knowledgeable and the service cost was extremely reasonable. We will definitely call this company for our future plumbing needs.

October 4, 2025 - called Ara again, this time for a badly blocked drain (toilet and tub). He responded quickly as usual, properly diagnosed the situation and told us honestly that he didn't have the sophisticated equipment necessary to clear the line. We offered to pay him for his time and knowledge but he refused, saying that if he doesn't fix something, he won't take any payment. Very impressed with his professionalism and integrity. Will call him again with our next plumbing issue.

If you’re anything like me—fed up with overpriced plumbing companies and all the pushy sales tactics—LA Wrench Plumber Northridge will feel like a total breath of fresh air!

Before finding them, I had already spoken to a well-known, big-name company and two smaller local ones about replacing my water heater. The big company came in with a slick presentation—but also a sky-high price tag and constant upselling. The two smaller companies were much more reasonable, but I still wasn’t feeling totally confident about moving forward.

Thankfully, I wasn’t in a rush, so I kept looking—and I’m SO glad I did. That’s when I came across LA Wrench Plumber Northridge. Since they were local, I gave them a call. Ara came out, listened to my situation, and right away, I could tell he was different. Instead of jumping to replace the entire water heater, he did some pressure checks, looked around a bit, and suggested we try replacing the T&P valve first. He even showed me the old valve and clearly explained why it needed to go.

He had it swapped out in about 20–30 minutes, and just like that—problem solved! My water heater has been working perfectly ever since. No need for a full replacement after all.

Bottom line: These two are honest, skilled, and just genuinely good people. No pressure, no gimmicks, no games. I feel so lucky to have found a plumbing company I actually trust. I seriously couldn’t be happier—they’ve definitely got a lifelong customer in me!
