Mike at Sierra Plumbing is not only a very experienced and capable plumber but is also a nice guy. It's hard to find a plumber in the Sierra's who will drive 40 miles into the forest to take on a job. I would highly recommend Sierra Plumbing for all your plumbing, large or small.

A million thanks to Mike and his great crew for making our whole house repipe an easy experience, from the first professional interview to the finishing cleanup and seamless drywall repair. What a great group of guys! To anyone out there who has any plumbing issues these are the people to call. 7 months after installation we had a tiny issue with a faucet and Mike's crew came out the next day and did the repair in a few minutes and at no charge. We interviewed a few plumbing outfits and Mike and the guys at Sierra Plumbing fit the bill. They were clean, courteous, very professional, they got the job done in a timely manner and the price was fair and reasonable. 5 star company! Mike went out of his way to take care of my 97-year-old grandmother she just loved him. I appreciate that. He was very patient kind and gave me extra advice on how to take care of some of the issues. . Had a great experience with Mike from Sierra Plumbing. My water heater failed spectacularly on a Friday evening. After another plumber failed to adequately address the issue, I called Sierra and Mike went out in the dark to inspect. He clearly explained the problems and offered several options to fix. I chose to replace the water heater which was at the end of it's usable life. Mike was able to pick up a new heater and install the next day (Saturday morning).

Communication was excellent throughout the whole process as Mike was responsive, interesting in figuring out what was wrong (unlike the first plumber), took the time to explain, and documented progress very well with pictures. There were no surprise upcharges and the final invoice matched the initial estimate. Highly recommend without reservation. 5-stars all the way!

We had a propane leak in our home. Mike came up to Wawona from Oakhurst with assistant Austin. They did a very thorough, meticulous job locating the leak. Very professional. Couldn’t be happier with their work.

I cannot recommend Mike and Sierra Plumbing more highly. Upon dewinterizing my cabin we discovered that the heating coils to my on demand water heater had ruptured and the water heater needed to be replaced. That was a Monday and guests we’re arriving Wednesday. Mike, in spite of the fact that his hands were full with other projects, was able to locate another unit and install it by Wednesday afternoon before the guests arrived. We recently had a major water issue at our house which was handled expertly by Mike and Austin of Sierra plumbing and construction. Our copper pipes developed leaks in our slab foundation which resulted in our whole house needing to be repiped. Sierra Plumbing did the work efficiently and expertly using only top quality parts. The new pipes were routed through the attic and many wallboard openings had to be cut in the walls for the new water connections. After the plumbing portion was completed, Mike brought in other experts to handle wall patching, texturing and painting. Everything looks perfect now, and no one can tell that there were ever any openings cut in the walls. We were very impressed by Mike’s extensive knowledge of plumbing issues and repairs. I strongly recommend Sierra Plumbing for all your plumbing work.

Prior Review: Mike, the owner, did a great job of keeping me informed of when they could come to repair the leak in our main water line to the house. Austin, an extremely hard worker (and very nice guy), came to do the job. It required quite a bit of digging, but he powered through, found the leak, and made the repair in a way that prevents stress on the line. He also did a fantastic job on the cleanup. Austin showed up just before 5 o'clock on a Saturday and did a fantastic job clearing my drain so I could prepare dinner for my family who came for the Thanksgiving weekend.

Mike and his team were great! They picked up my phone message over the weekend and worked me into their schedule the following week. Austin came on time and did a great job replacing my kitchen faucet. He re did the pipes under the counter as they were old and not plumed to todays specification. I thought their price was fair. I will call them again.

My husband Denny Amundson and I are Extremely Grateful for the prompt and expert service we received from Mike of Sierra Plumbing. Our issue of a propane gas leak - 'somewhere' was vague, and we were under a time crunch. Mike was a great communicator - and rapidly identified the problem. Sierra Plumbing was a lifesaver. Spike with Mike who was upfront about cost and plan from the beginning. Our home is in the national park which makes it more complicated. Even when we asked if we should do additional things added to the project he suggested not adding the extra expense as the benefit wasn’t worth it. Workmanship was top notch. And overall the cost was very good! The honesty and transparency was a breath of fresh air. Will use Sierra Plumbing for every future project going forwards. Highly recommend.

Austin was very speedy even when my wife would engage him in conversation he continued to work or excuse himself too literally run to his truck for a tool then reengage her in conversation when he returned. He did expert repair work and explained things to me as he worked. He left the area cleaner then when he arrived and I would certainly recommend Austin and Sierra Plumbing to anybody who needs a plumber.
