We’ve had Kevin perform a few different residential projects recently and I can start with the work is very high quality. I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Downing Electric! They were prompt, professional, and incredibly skilled. I had an issue with my wiring that several other electricians couldn’t figure out, but they diagnosed and resolved it quickly. They took the time to explain everything to me and made sure the work was done safely and efficiently.

The general rule of contracting is that you hope to get two of the following three in your favor: cost of work, quality of work, and speed of work. Downing Electric is the first company I’ve ever worked with that managed to provide all three. They completed our panel upgrade at a totally reasonable price, demonstrated a high quality of work, and were incredibly prompt with each stage of work and communication throughout the entire project.

Kevin was the only electrician of the four that scoped our job that had a clear handle on the entire process and didn’t try to add on extra electrician hours for non/electrical work (e.g., trenching, stucco patch). One of the SDGE inspectors was very complimentary of their work and they got each stage of the project scheduled and completed within days of SDGE/city inspector approval.

He and Danielle make a great team, and I will be using Downing Electric for all future work and would highly recommend them to anybody that needs a great electrician!
