Couldn't say enough about Kevin and his team. They have completed countless jobs for me. From replacing outlets to full lighting installs, installing fans, to a full kitchen renovation rewire. His team is wonderful and family friendly. His team will also wear shoe covers and will get cob webs down in hard to reach places. AKA they notice and care.

I was extremely satisfied with Kevin’s work and I consider myself extremely lucky that I ran into his company by chance. Before contacting Kevin I talked with 2 other companies. Not only did they quote me 3 or 4 times as much for their fee, they were telling me that the entire process could take as long as 1 year because of the difficulty of working with SDG&E. One of those companies even proposed that he could do something else that would not involve SDG&E which was wrong of course. I completely trusted Kevin. He took care of everything. All I did was pay for his services which was very reasonable. Danielle, his assistant was equally helpful. I have rentals. Any electrical issues with any of my real estate properties will be offered to Kevin.

Downing Electric upgraded my panel from 100 to 200 amps. They handled all communication with SDG&E and all permitting and did a great job. They were great to work with and I highly recommend their services.

I had a great experience with Downing Electric. Kevin and his team were very punctual and completed the upgrade of my main electrical service from 100A to 200A to accommodate a new solar system. Every step, from the initial estimate to re-energizing our electrical service, was completed on schedule. The Oceanside inspector even commended them for a job well done.

This summer we bought a beautiful home in Oceanside, but it needs money and love. I hired Downing Electric to modernize its electrical footprint. Kevin, Connor, and Chad have been nothing short of professional. They've carefully danced around my family and have completed three phases of work: replace plates and outlets, install bedroom ceiling fans, replace bathroom exhaust fans, install four Ring devices, install two lighted mirrors, re-wire the TV area, and run new conduit for expansion.

Next, the crew will replace interior lanterns, exterior sconces, and overhaul the garage's electrical profile. Furthermore, as soon as SDGE approves of a panel upgrade, Downing will perform the work in preparation for solar.

We have found a long-term partner in Downing Electric. We're thrilled.

Downing electric is such a great company. They are efficient, precise and very knowledgeable. I've had 3 construction projects that I've dealt with Kevin and his crew, and all 3 times, their electrical relocations are spot on with minimal mess. Gibby was my last technician and it took him only 40 mins to expertly relocate my romex to the new light location with minimal drywall patching. If you zoom in on my photo you will see that he cut the drywall and then placed it back in place so only the cracks need to me repaired. This is much appreciated. Thanks so much, Kevin, et Al!

The crew who came out were nice, communicative, and very detail-oriented. They installed three chandeliers for me, including high-ceiling installs, and everything turned out perfect. They installed a car charger in my garage. They proposed a plan to move the electrical plug from one side of my house into my garage. They ran a 45 ft conduit from electrical panel to my garage. It was quick, a couple hours. They did a great job and everything works seamlessly. I highly recommend them. Great price as well.
