Electrical reviews in Oceanside, California

Richard has remodeled 25 hones over the years for me and other investors with excellent service and costs. Highly recommend Powerhouse Electric.

Richard has handled a variety of projects over the years for us. His rates are reasonable; he works efficiently; and does very clean work!

PHE did a variety of work for us over. 7 day period. Moved a 40 amp circuit from the pool area closer to the house, installed 2 pole lamps in the backyard, added several outside outlets, installed fans outside and inside. The owner also troubleshot an issue with our kitchen circuit and solved a problem we had with circuits tripping. Can’t say enough good about the work and the price.

Powerhouse Electric is a Calif business; however because the Owner, Richard Powles was in town visiting family; we were able to block some of his time. We had four 5 foot lamp posts added to our patio. Richard is very professional. He stays laser focused on all projects that we have had him do. He also hung a chandelier for me. His demeanor is very professional and he repeats back to you what he has heard from you - to make sure you are both on the same page. He modified some ceiling lights/fan; so I could use a new remote I asked for. He functions like a Master Electrician; someone who has been Bonded and LICENSED; NOT your Best Friend who learned OJT WITHOUT Passing California Licensure. His prices were mid-range. Compared to my other bids; he was neither the most expensive nor cheapest; you get what you pay for, right?! We already have more projects lined up for whenever he’s out this way again. We will NOT Use anyone else. I am retired USAF and he gave us a military discount.

I cannot recommend Rich enough. He is extremely kind, knowledgeable, and direct. I really appreciate how honest he is about the different options you have, even if this means that you will not require his services. It is nice to know that we have an electrician that we trust.

I’ve called Rich several times over the years and he’s always quick to respond and get me on his schedule. He’s done a variety of jobs for us, including swapping out a stairwell chandelier, new kitchen under cabinet lights, outlet conversions, and more. He’s trustworthy, respectful of our home, and his rates are very fair. I would only work with a licensed electrician, and he’s one of the best!

Rich with Powerhouse Electric is extremely knowledgeable & very efficient. I was impressed with the electrical work he did for my home & his level of professionalism. I highly recommend him & will have him do future jobs. Thank you again Rich! -Ellen

Rich installed our EV wall charger. He was professional, courteous and timely. The cost of service was very reasonable. I highly recommend Rich for your electrical needs. Without reservation, I would call him for our next job.

I contacted Powerhouse Electric to ask about a dedicated outlet for our electric lightning truck. He was extremely informative and came over that night to check out our panel. He was able to do the job for a very reasonable cost. I can only say great things about RIch and feel lucky to have found him. He is super personable and I will only use Powerhouse for future needs. THANK YOU RICH!

I’ve worked with Rich from Powerhouse Electric many times, and I can’t recommend him enough. As someone who manages several rental properties, I’ve needed help with everything from installing ceiling fans and bathroom exhausts to rewiring an entire house. Rich is always on time, jumps right into the job, and makes sure everything is clean when he’s done—during and after the work. What I love most is that he’s honest, reliable, and charges fair prices. It’s not easy to find someone who does great work while also being trustworthy, but that’s exactly what you get with Rich. I’ll definitely be hiring him for future projects.

Excellent electrician. Superb work. Reasonably priced.

Rich runs his own one-man shop at Powerhouse Electric, so he personally does the work. Rich upgraded our subpanel, ran a dedicated 240V ciruit through our garage to the exterior patio connecting our sauna, and installed a Tesla wall charger.

He showed up 10 minutes early, worked straight through the day, and completed the project earlier than anticipated. The wiring was superb. The areas were clean. He's been an electrician for 40 years, and the work shows.

I'd recommend Rich to anyone in the area who needs a reliable, knowledgeable, and hard-working electrician.

Rich was amazing. We had some old and new electrical problems and he was able to fix all. Outdoor lights that had not worked for years are now working. Changed out old circuit breakers. Great communication and arrived on time.

Rich came over to run some electrical on our patio. He showed up on time, answered all my questions, gave a very reasonable bid and did excellent work. He was very professional and took the time to explain what he was doing and why. He also worked fast and cleaned everything up as well. I was starting to think that true professionals were a thing of the past, but Rich proved my wrong.
I will be using Powerhouse again.

Chamei-os e na hora do orçamento foram solícitos. Após assinar o contrato, novos custos foram apresentados.. Não concordei e pedi o cancelamento. Disseram não ser possível e o nosso caso vai para a justiça. Lamentável. Fujam !
