Reviews of local pros in Palm Desert, California

Justin and his crew did an exceptional job removing a large palm tree from our yard. It was a complex project that required careful climbing and precise, methodical cuts, and they handled it with impressive skill and confidence.
They were also very thoughtful about the cleanup, leaving everything neat and tidy when the job was done. From start to finish, the entire process was handled professionally and efficiently.
We were so pleased with their work that we’ll definitely be hiring them again for future palm tree trimming. Highly recommend!

Update 4/19/26 After four months of posting my review Justin responded saying it was an misunderstanding and he tried to contact me to resolve the issue which is not true. Justin can say what he wants but remember I'm not I only one he did this to. Not a very honest person.

I’m having a very difficult time getting this company to finish cleaning up after a tree stump removal. It’s been five days and he keeps on telling every day he’s coming back but never does. Bad thing about this, is I’ve already paid. I’m a senior citizen, 70 yrs and now need to hire someone else to finish the job or do it myself. Please do not hire Justin Vela wife’s name is Crystal Tustison, Palm Desert Tree Service

Very professional

Extremely surprised on how well they preformed their duty’s.. no problem hiring them again

This business is honestly terrible at what they do. They do a very poor job and I would not recommend them whatsoever.

The service was great the people were very professional on time and my yard looks awesome, I them recommend to everyone who needs any of these services.

Jason knows his trees and how to care for them. I am more than happy to recommend him.

Justin got on the job right away and did as he promised. Own a home in Palm Desert area and am very pleased.

Words honestly can't even describe the negative experience that we had with this company. The amount of dishonesty they showed from start to finish is literally appalling. We still have a total mess to clean up and they didn't complete the job that was promised.

Had a 22 year old pepper tree that needed to be removed. They charged me a fair rate, arrived promptly and even finished a little early. Highly recommend them.

Honestly a terrible experience. I hired for a tree pruning and nutrient spraying service. Got the service scheduled and was told it would be finished in a day. It was not. I rescheduled for 3 different days and the service still didnt get finished. Each time I had to reach out to get any info about why they were not showing up; half the time they wouldnt answer me.

They requested payment before the service was completed and said they would come back. Have not heard from them since and obviously the service was not completed. Very unhappy at the lack of communication, failure to meet at agreed upon times, and not finishing the service. Still have piles of tree trimmings around my house and the tree was never sprayed with nutrients.

Maybe these guys can do very small jobs like trimming bushes, but if you need someone professional to do a bigger job like a tree removal, STAY AWAY from this crew. They will completely botch the job and not take any ownership of their mistakes. I wasn't going to leave a review but now I see they are starting to get multiple bad reviews since they changed ownership so I figured I owed it to paying customers to tell about my bad experience.

Justin and his crew did a great job! He went above and beyond in providing a quality service. We will call them again next time we need any landscape work done. They are very qualified, hard-workers.

Justin and his crew, were prompt and definitely saved the day when a 3 ton Branch of our Mesquite tree fell , they were very careful with our fruit trees while thinning the rest of the tree and treated our yard as their own ,much appreciated fellas, you are definitely our Go to Trimming crew for now on!

Their tree removal was fine but their clean-up sucked. I had them remove 3 old mesquite trees from my yard. It was quite a project. They cleared up most of the large pieces and Justin said he would be back the next day to sweep my roof of any limbs but he never came back. The next day 3 guys came and took away the last of the stump pieces. I assumed they would come back and clean up all the small bits of bark, etc. but they NEVER came back. This morning I got out and raked the yard myself because it looked so bad. I am 76 years old with a heart problem and after paying Justin $3400 I could not afford to hire someone to clean up my yard. I would not hre them again. Posted 4/17/24.

I would like to Thank Justin and his crew for the amazing work they did on my trees. I thought I was going to lose both trees from the storm but Justin and his team were able to cut them back and trim the exposed roots.
He hooked a cable up to his truck so the trees could be upright and then staked and secured them, these were large mesquite trees.
They cleaned the property and patios.
It was one of the most humid and hot days when they were working and they were always smiling and polite.
I would recommend them for all your tree or sprinkler needs.
Thank You Justin and your Team!

I called on a Sunday afternoon because my lemon tree fell down next to my pool and sprinkler equipment. Justin answered and said he could be there in an hour, and he was. He did an excellent job in removing the tree and cutting the trunk to ground level. I was very happy with his service.

I wish I had read some of the reviews before we hired Justin. He knows how to do a job but doesn't finish it! Charged us to repair sprinkler system but left it leaking had to call someone else to fix it. Charged us $225 for a palm that died, didn't replace it. Charged us another $225 for rock that he never delivered. Does not return calls, not the professional we thought. Will not use again.

Justin and his team have been to my palm desert property 3 times for tree trimming and sprinkler work . They do an excellent job every time , cleanup , fair pricing and reliable. I have them lined up for future work and will continue to do so . Very happy with his service .

Justin and his team did a fantastic job at 3 of my locations. He was thorough with his explanation of the work going to be performed, he showed up precisely on time, got the entire job done in 2 days as well as cleaned up any excess that may have accumulated. 5 stars across the board. Already planning more work to be done with him.

Justin was the only one of 3 calls made to tree trimming experts in the Indian Wells area. His pricing was reasonable and availability to schedule removal of a 40 foot queen palm was great. He arrived at the scheduled time and did a clean job of cutting the tree down and hauling it away. I would definitely recommend him.
