My husband contacted this company because our breakers were tripped and he was unable to get them to reset. When the electrician arrived, after no more than 10 minutes, he told us he would need to “further diagnose” the issue and that it would cost an additional $250, on top of the trip fee we had already paid.
We declined and called a different electrician instead. Within five minutes, the second electrician identified the issue and fixed it. It was a simple tripped fuse that wasn’t being reset correctly.
This is absolutely unbelievable. The first electrician was either completely incompetent or intentionally trying to upsell unnecessary services. I’m relieved we found an honest company, because I can only imagine what other nonsense the first electrician would have claimed was “wrong” if we had agreed to pay more.
