I visited the store for a part for my 2-year-old ACPro condenser, specifically the defrost control board. The first lady at the counter couldn't find it and suggested calling tech support, which seemed unusual since I just wanted a part. When I called tech support, they told me that the counter should be able to look up parts, so I went back in.

The second guy at the counter looked equally clueless, and when I tried to help him find the part for my model number, he seemed frustrated. He explained that his manager would come in on Saturday, but wouldn't call customers at $100 an hour. It was clear that neither of them knew what they were doing.

It's strange that a company owning their own ACPro units should struggle with finding parts within those systems. I ended up being the one explaining how to use the parts inquiry system to someone who had no idea what he was doing. The lack of training or knowledge among these two counter staff is concerning.

On the bright side, they did offer free donuts, which is a nice touch. However, that's about it for positives in my experience.
