jay was great. the project was to replace the main sewer line coming out of our house. before we moved in, there was already a deck built on top of the sewer line, and over time it settled a bit. this settling caused a connection in the pipe to shift by about half an inch, which led to a blockage. jay came out to run a camera through the pipe and showed me exactly where the problem was. he suggested a good fix—re-routing the sewer line so it wouldn't run under the deck anymore. i was able to dig the new trench myself to help keep costs down (they offered to dig it, but let me handle that part). after i finished, they came and cut away the old pipe, installed a new line, and made sure it was properly supported. they also took care of the permit and made sure everything was inspected. throughout the whole job, jay kept in touch with texts and kept me updated. the final price matched the estimate, which made me happy. i would definitely call mckay brothers plumbing again if i need a plumber.

jay was excellent. we had a plumbing emergency when we found out one of our hot water heaters was leaking. water started spreading into the carpeted room and even reached another room’s floor. i first called my home warranty, but they said it might take hours to get a plumber, so i decided to call mckay brothers plumbing instead. jay answered right away and understood the urgency, so he came out immediately. jay handled everything from start to finish. he replaced both of our old hot water heaters and made sure everything met current plumbing codes. he worked for many hours, well into the evening, making sure all the repairs were done right. jay was very professional and clearly knows his trade. we really appreciated the helpful advice he shared and his excellent service. the whole experience was smooth and stress-free.
