I don’t know how I’ve lived in the area for almost a decade and I just found you! Lovely experience, beautiful plants!!! I could live in your tropical plant room. Thank you for the great experience. I visited the pleasant hill location and will try others, too. Thanks again!

First time visit.
Variety choices for gardening. -
For a first timer I wasn’t impressed. The garden expert was a nice gentleman and helpful. The cashier was not and she rushed me out without offering to sign up to become a member. I spent 70 bucks on plants but my purchase wouldn’t count towards it???! Bummer cuz I would have been a repeat customer.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff
Beautiful plants indoor and outdoor
They also have wonderful succulents.
Good quality.
Lots of great pots for flowers. I have been to the Pleasant Hill only, but there are more locations. Look on line for other stores. -
Great shop overall! From the moment you walk into the inviting layout you are happy, (could be b/c you know your about to do cool stuff), then there are the very helpful staff, who know their stuff, and the great range of gardening products! Got everything I needed to kick start my veggie garden this year!

BEST Sloat around - I actually stopped at Danville Sloat today because I was down there (and assumed it would be nice based on financial demographics)....holy cow, it was horrible. I drove WAY out of my way to go to Pleasant Hill and was absolutely happy I did. Much better outdoor selection, really, really great indoor selection. Still pricey but, ugh, you know. You get what you pay for :)

They carry a very wide variety of tomato plants every spring and a good selection of house and yard plants.
Not the cheapest place but reasonable prices for the seedlings and quite expensive for potted plants. But definite place to shop for plants and helpful staff can order things for you if they don’t have it in stock. -
Able to find large pots of my choosing and purchase them with help from Tim loading them into my car. Called another store to locate more identical pots. Very happy experience.

Good quality plants, good prices for most items.
People working there are very knowledgeable and helpful when I have had questions about what is best to use for which plants.
Charlie has wealth of knowledge about growing just about anything.
No rush sales job.
Take your time and shop at your leisure ask questions if you need. -
Sam, out in the garden, is very knowledgeable & helpful. If you want good prices on soils, soil amendments, etc come here for their bulk pricing. They will also deliver and dump quality soil or compost or whatever you need on your property. Or you can get big bags custom made for your needs there. They will load it in your vehicle for you. I thought pricing for pots was a little on the high side, but then I think pots are overpriced almost everywhere.

Great place to go when I need something quick. I can usually find what I need here and the prices are competitive. The center is seems to be well organized and it's a decent size but not overwhelming. I do wonder if the staff is hard to find at times, or customers are confused at who the staff is. Maybe brighter more noticeable company shirts would help. For some reason, I have been ask a few times by random customers if I could help them. I guess I look like I know what I am doing, but I have to tell them, "sorry I don't work here, I'm just doing some shopping myself!" Definitely my go to spot though unless I need something really particular.

Great local garden center, we went as we needed a large plant pot and they have a huge well priced selection. Our new local

Good selection. Live plant stock and selection is somewhat irregular but that is expected. I am happy to cross the bridge to go here when I need quality plants. Helpful staff. Good prices on tomato cages and accessories. A bit pricey for pots but if you are looking for something classy they will have an option.

Decent parking, helpful staff, nice looking pottery and plants. Signage could be better on their buy 1 get 1 free pottery sale...to avoid confusion put signs up in the sections that are excluded directing customers inside or to the front of the store.

My co-worker/ friend and I came up here on our lunch break. We picked some small succulents to go I our office. Jessica was amazing, friendly and super helpful. She potted our plants and sent us on our way. This garden center has pretty much everything you want and need, I tried hard not to buy other plants and what not. Thank you Jessica for your awesome service!

Great variety of plants and decent green house

Good variety of plants- both flowers and vegetables available here , this is how our patio looks after a visit to Sloat Garden :)

Staff is very nice and very helpful. This place is huge and has a lot of options. I went in looking for edibles and plants that attract butterflies. Lots to chose from. They also have a really neat room with tropical/indoor plants. Lots of parking too!

We tried to exchange the Avocado plant that died which they have a year warranty because when we asked that if it died after we plant them in our backyard they said they will replace it with another Avocado Plant if we bring it but they denied that it was from there Sloat Garden because we didn’t had receipt or anything to prove that it was from Sloat Garden. It was a birthday gift for my wife from her Employer. We lost the receipt or bucket or tag they were looking for to confirm that we had brought it from here. But we know we got it from here because my wife’s Employer recommended it and she bought it on her birthday from there.
Even the manager who looked in their system and said they couldn’t find the receipt or anything in their system was outright ridiculous and lie.She lied in our face.Couldn’t believe ourselves.
We learned from our mistake that we must have a supporting documents or buckets or tag or something otherwise they will outright deny even though I think they knew it was their product and it is in their system.
Now thank you Sloat Garden but we are not doing business anymore with Sloat Garden Pleasant Hill. -
Wonderful experience. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable young lady helped
me pick out some plants for my hummingbirds. Chippy the hummingbird gives a thumbs up😀
