What locals say about Plumbing in Plymouth

I had a really nice surprise when Jay from the plumbing company called to check in and make sure everything was working fine. He came over to look at my water heater and even gave me a gift card, which I truly appreciated. What really stood out to me was how much they care about their customers and the quality of their plumbing work. If you need any plumbing repairs, I highly recommend giving them a call—you’ll feel confident your home is in good hands. I’ve always been treated with so much respect and honest concern for my plumbing issues. Other plumbers I’ve dealt with before weren’t nearly as helpful, but this company is great. I wish I could give them even more stars!

I had some trouble with my water heater and furnace, so I reached out to Dexter & Sons Plumbing & HVAC. Before long, Jay was at my place in Plymouth. He quickly identified the issues and, along with Todd, Andres, and their team, had both problems sorted out swiftly. They were all incredibly personable and professional, delivering high-quality work at a fair price. I'm extremely satisfied with their service and will definitely rely on them for future plumbing needs. Thanks to all of you, and take care!

I had a clogged toilet, and after spending a week trying to fix it myself with plungers and a drain snake, I finally decided to call a local plumber. Jay answered my call and suggested a method I hadn’t tried yet. He explained the steps over the phone and even sent a helpful video right away. After following his instructions, my toilet was flushing perfectly again in less than a minute. This is exactly the type of service I want from a local Plymouth plumber—honest, helpful, and not just looking to charge for a house call if it’s not needed. Jay gave me a simple solution instead of scheduling an unnecessary visit. I highly recommend this plumbing service to anyone in Plymouth who needs help, and I will definitely call them first for any future plumbing jobs. I was truly impressed with Jay’s friendliness and professionalism.

All the kitchen plumbing fixtures in our Plymouth home needed to be disconnected—including the sink faucet, soap dispenser, garbage disposal, hot water dispenser, and dishwasher—so new counters could be installed. Afterward, everything was reconnected with a new garbage disposal and some new plumbing parts. Living in a historic house has given us plenty of plumbing challenges, like old toilets that needed updating and a water line coming into the house that had to be fixed. Andres handled the work and did a fantastic job. He took his time, solved every problem, and was always friendly and professional. The service was excellent, and we highly recommend them to anyone needing a good plumber.

I had two different appointments with Dexter & Sons Plumbing & HVAC in Plymouth. This morning, Louis came by to check my pipes and plumbing. He explained each step and even showed me some photos of the work. Louis was friendly and very thorough. He fixed some issues quickly and let me know about other things to keep an eye on. Later, Jay arrived for my regular plumbing maintenance. He was also very professional and easy to talk with. He checked everything carefully and went over my water heater maintenance, showing me pictures and giving advice on future care—without any pressure. I highly recommend this company. Everyone, from the office staff to the plumbers, is helpful and works together to give great service.

we had trouble with our old tankless water heater that kept breaking down, so we decided it was time for a change. todd came out and really listened to what we needed. he explained everything clearly and helped us pick a new lochinvar water heater that would be reliable. installation was fast, and he made sure it was done right without cutting corners. the price was fair, and he even helped us find ways to save some money on the install. it's great to have hot water again, and i feel confident knowing we chose a plumber who truly cares about the work. highly recommend for anyone in plymouth needing honest plumbing help.

We have been calling on plumbers in Plymouth ever since we bought our home. Recently, the crew handled a big job for us by replacing our water main valve going into the house. Even though it meant digging up our backyard, which was needed for the repair, Jay and Andres were really friendly and patient the whole time. Jay kept us updated and answered all our questions. They did everything they could to avoid taking out the whole patio, but it had to be done to fix the issue. We’ll definitely keep using their plumbing services in the future, hopefully just for small fixes!

i had some slow drains at my place in plymouth and was worried it might be a big issue. andres showed up and was really friendly, professional, and seemed to know a lot about plumbing. he took the time to check all the pipes before giving me some good advice, and even made a quick trip to the hardware store to grab a special part for one of my drains. he made sure all my drains were flowing well before leaving, and explained a bit about my old galvanized pipes. the price was fair for the work and time spent. i'll definitely call them again if i need a plumber in the future.

We had a water line break under our driveway not long ago. After calling a bunch of different plumbing companies and getting nowhere, I finally found one that actually answered and wanted to help. Evan came out quickly to take a look. Instead of digging up our whole driveway, he suggested moving the water meter, which saved us a lot of hassle and money. They gave us a clear quote, moved the meter, dug a new trench, installed new pex piping, made sure everything was running smoothly, and then filled the trench back in so it looked neat. While they were working, Evan also noticed our hot water tank had a leak. He offered a quote for that, and a couple days later they returned and replaced the hot water tank, too. The whole crew was professional, friendly, and really knew their plumbing stuff. I can't recommend them enough for anyone needing plumbing work. They did a fantastic job!

Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing plumbers is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, actively operating, and actually performs the work it claims. For regulated trades, we look for proper credentials, and we automatically hide inactive listings.
-
How do I choose the right plumber?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then confirm the company performs your specific type of work and serves your area. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes, not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. This page, for example, is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
Repair or replace my water heater — how do I decide?
Ask each plumber for both a repair quote and an honest assessment of the unit's remaining life. As a general rule, if the repair costs more than half the price of a new unit, or the tank is past its expected lifespan and leaking, replacement is usually the better value. Get two or three opinions before a decision this large.
-
Do plumbers provide written estimates or flat rates?
Reputable plumbers give written, itemized estimates after diagnosing the problem — and many quote flat rates for common jobs like drain cleaning or fixture repair. Always ask whether the quote is flat-rate or time-and-materials, and whether the diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair.
-
Are plumbers on GigoPro licensed and insured?
Licensing and insurance requirements vary by state and by type of work - especially gas and sewer work. Ask each plumber for their license number and proof of insurance before work begins. Professional companies expect these questions and answer them without hesitation.
-
How much does plumbing service cost?
Costs vary by job type, region, and time of day — there is no honest single number. Reputable plumbers give written estimates after diagnosing the problem, and comparing two or three of them is the best way to understand what your job should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the plumber and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs help the next homeowners in your city choose well — and keep listed professionals at their best.
