Let me start off by saying the sales person Chris Palmer was an excellent sales representative. I was happy with the solar installation but it all went bad when it was time to install the Tesla battery. There were a lot of problems first the drawings were not correct the company had to resubmit the drawings which took them two an half months to resubmit. We finally pass inspection but my Tesla battery is still no working. Why not? because the communication device it not connected. Called the office said someone would be out in six days. Long story short the scheduler Darrell does not know how to do his job as a matter of fact several times he said he would call me back and he doesn't. I would not do business with SunPower if Daryl it's still the scheduler because you'll be waiting a mighty long time.

Ricardo took the time to drive to our home to explain the quote and process of solar panel installation. He also made it easy for us to apply for the NEM pricing in March. We recently had our solar panels installed and received PTO. Hoping everything else goes smoothly!

We signed the contract last March 2023, had the permits approved by October and had it installed by December 2023. It took quite a while to get installed but everything was professionally done and overall, we're happy with the installation.

Sunpower by Sea Bright solar the red team were excellent! Salvador and Anthony were extremely knowledgeable and professional and met all of our service needs and expectations! Wish they had been our technicians from the initial installment of our solar panels! they rectified all the concerns we had and made sure we were happy with the service that they provided us! thank you red team!

We want to give a five star rating to the installers and the electricians. They did a fabulous job today at our house, Sal, Hector, Aaron, Joseph, and Adan the Gold Team did a wonderful job. They were very professional. They are great crew.

I have my SunPower system installed and up and running for a little over a month now. I contacted Sea Bright solar and talked to Chris Palmer around end of June 2022. Chris is an amazing guy specially coming after talking salesmen from three other solar companies I found out that he was different. No sales push, listened to my questions and answered all my questions professionally. He is the kind of guy you feel like you completely trust and he is. I signed the contract 06/28/2022 even though it was several thousand dollars over the competitors. I was told before signing the contract it would be 8 to 12 weeks before my system gets installed and I was good with that as from my research the standard timeline when it comes to installation of a solar is around 3 month.
In between, communication from the office was barely there and even when you call or send e mail. I didn’t expect any update up until 3 month passed from the time the contract signed. But as we were going to past 4 month plus I felt like sailing in the dark. I was not even sure when it was going to be installed at all. Finally I had to escalate the matter due to lack of communication and Chris and Ginny Resman from their New Jersey office gets involved and help speed up the scheduling and subsequent installation. I would like to thank them both Chris and Ginny for that and their subsequent follow up.
Now the actual team from Sea Bright who did the installation were amazing. It took them 7 days as there were rainy days in between to install the solar panels and upgrade my electrical panel. City of Redlands inspection was quick right after installation and it passed right away. Installation was done from 11/03/2022 to 11/10/2022. SCE gave the PTO just in under 2 days after the office submitted the paperwork. My system is running since 11/24/2022 and production is great even in the winter time. Unfortunately the monitoring system is showing only production- no consumption or grid export data. This is because the installation team forgot to install the consumption CTs/meter. I have reached out to Sea Bright Solar to install the consumption CTs and I am waiting for them to schedule the installation.
In addition to Chris and Ginny, I would like to thank Damaris,Kassy and Rose from the Redlands office as well. The reason for the 3 star is because of lack of communication and responsiveness between signing the contract and start of installation, the uninstalled Consumption meter I am waiting for and a panel layout not reflecting the modifications done in the actual installation. The panel layout in the picture is the initial planned layout but this has been modified during installation and is much better than this one. Other wise it is both aesthetically beautiful and very efficient system so far.

Sea bright Solar has installed the CTs and the monitoring system is now performing as promised giving me panel level data, solar production, home consumption and grid import/export. Thanks Darell, JD, Tim and Eric who came out and completed the job. As such I have changed my rating from 3 to 5 star.

First off: we had our solar installed durring a VERY busy period, right after the switch over to NEM 3.0. Even with a few minor glitches (the city, in particular), they did a very fine job. I felt bad for all the techs and installers having to work in °100+ temperatures. However, they powered through it without complaint.

I'd like to thank Joseph, Adan, J.D., Damaris, Rick, Mike Symmes, and all the other technicians and installers, who did such a good job.

I would recommend both SunPower and Sea Bright Solar. We're already seeing the savings on our electric!

Saving $$! My husband and I talked to 5 solar companies before deciding to go with Sea Bright. Sea Bright had the lowest cost per kilowatt hour. Sales staff was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Customer service communicate every step along the way. Installation was on schedule and went great. Approval through Edison was no problem either. Very happy with our decision. They system looks great, and we will be saving money from our monthly bill. Thanks Sea Brite.

So far I'm not impressed and am wary of the service I will be receiving. They're not very responsive to my concerns and I have to jump through hoops to get a response. One of these days I may get an installation date. I hope that experience is better.
UPDATE: I want to state that management reached out to me about my review, within a couple of days of my post. They assured me that they were working on my project and were very sorry I had not heard from my project manager. I was left at ease after the conversation that I had nothing to worry about. I'm supposed to get my system up and running by 9-22-2022 so I am happy about that. I am assured that their prompt response to my concerns is a sign that they take their job serious. Just had my solar installed by Rene and his Green Team Jesus, Adan and Efrain and couldn’t be more pleased. They were very professional and knowledgeable about the equipment they were installing and they were very clean and left no mess. I definitely will be recommending them to friends and neighbors. Thanks for the great job!

Update : paid for a 8.5 kwh system that has never generated over 6.5 when they were installing I was told there was a bad processor or inverter which they installed just never fixed. This sucks cause the whole point was to generate excess power however I am still having to owe to edison and now have a a solar payment as well. There communications is great till they get your money then nobody will return calls or keep you updated on any part of this process. I hope someone will finally reach out after 4 months of calling and attempt to fix these issues.

It has taken me a few years to finally decide to go Solar but I'm very happy that I finally did and even more happy that after investigating and meeting with several companies that I chose Sea Bright Solar. Michael Symmes was our salesman and he was great throughout the process. He answered all questions that I had , was available via phone, email, and text, and he didn't try to sell me other products like several other companies did when met with them ( that was very annoying ) . The installers were very courteous and professional and also willing to answer any questions that I had as they worked . The process took a little longer than estimated but that is to be expected in a major project like this and was not unreasonable . I HIGHLY recommend Sea Bright Solar

My solar panels were purchased and installed in October of 2020, and we have been happy with them. Sadly though, we currently have a roof leak and discovered our roof needs to be replaced. SunPower by Seabright never mentioned that our roof was on its last leg, and if so we would have taken care of it before installing the panels. I wonder if I had leased them if they might have been more diligent.
Obviously to replace the roof our panels will need to be removed and reset upon completion. I called SeaBright 4 times to inquire about the process and cost to do so. I was never connected to anyone who could answer my question and no one has returned my calls. More than once I asked to speak to someone then, but I was told that was not possible. This poor customer service is obviously unacceptable.
I strongly discourage anyone from using this company.

I had made up my mind to go with SunPower, and Sea Bright by SunPower were a great company to work with. They gave me a very good quote for my solar energy needs.

The solar technicians from SeaBright were great! I had a team with Rene, Efrain and Jesus do the installation. They let me know of the things to expect, and were able to get the installation done in a few hours!

We have been very happy with the system. The whole process and the installation was smooth. They are very knowledgeable and helpful.

Have had a wonderful experience with this crew from sales, installation, and follow-up. The system has been up and running for several months. PG&E bills are zero $. Any little issue is immediately addressed by Loren in the office and next or same day service from Jeff, Louie, Tommy, Jose, and Darren in the field. Couldn’t be happier with the Sunpower system and the service so far.

I am so pleased with the installation of my solar panels by the best crew Jason Jesus Adan Max and Danny. They all were so professional and nice with giving me a piece of mind that my solar panels were installed correctly. I waited since August 2022 to get them and this crew made it worth my wait with their great work delivered to my home today. I give them all a 10 plus rating i. Making my solar experience so wonderful to save money. I would refer them to anyone because I am so pleased with the outstanding job that done I my home. Purchased my home in Nov 2019, right away I knew I wanted to purchase Solar for my home, I did some research and found SunPower by Sea Bright Solar. Of all the companies I met with they were by far the most thorough and professional. They walked me through the entire process, kept me in the look of each step and answered all of my questions. Once we got my HOA and Edison's approval they quickly scheduled the installation, completed it in one day and got me authorization to operate within a few days. Even after installation they have continued to check in with me and ensure that the system is working as expected. Absolutely impressed by this company's quality and professionalism from my first call to ask for a quote through the installation, and now post installation.

Yesterday a SunPower team, the Green Team, came out to install our new solar panels. Rene, Jesus, Efrain & Adam did a great job! They arrived a few minutes early, Rene told me exactly what would happen and they got to work immediately. They worked hard and fast to get the job done. We were inside listening to them talk while they worked. They seemed like good friends or even family. The yelled out questions and commands like a crew sailing on a boat! They were finished before expected, cleaned up everything afterward and answered all my questions before saying goodbye. This is how work should be done. This is how contractors should behave - kind, efficient and helpful. Great job and kudos to the crew, you make SunPower/Sea Bright look good where it counts the most!

The installation process was AWESOME. Sal, Efrain, Aaron, and Erik all did a fantastic job. They were totally polite, professional, and personable. They took extra time to explain everything to me after the instigation was complete. My 6 year old liked all of them too because they payed so much attention to her tortoise. All of them had a smile on their face from start to finish and you can really tell they love what they do.

I also want to give a shout-out to Chris and his partner who installed the new electrical panel. They shared all the same great characteristics of the gentlemen who installed the panels including special attention to my daughters tortoise.

The worst experience ever. We signed the solar contract on 4/30/22 and it is currently the end of December 2023 and this project HAS NOT BEEN COMPLETED. There have been delays every step of the way. The company has had a turnover of project managers. There is no accountability for getting the job done. They ignore our emails and phone calls and do not call back. The panels finally got installed in April 2023 a year after the contract was signed but failed the inspection. The problem was fixed and they were operational as of the end of August 2023. They were supposed to upgrade our electric panel and install a Tesla charger as part of the contract. They half did the electric panel and we can't get a hold of them again. We even filed a complaint with the California State Contractor's Board after which they started to respond but failed to respond again the state board closed the complaint. We are unable to get this project completed.
