Fast response and great price but what I couldn’t believe in this day and age was that they showed up 2 min before the time that they said that they would come and didn’t leave us waiting all day like most companies now. Highly recommend!

Do your research folks, This company isn’t licensed or insured!! They’re scammers!!!

Homeowners beware !! If an uninsured worker is injured on your property, you, the homeowner could be held liable. California law presumes that anyone performing work requiring a contractor’s license without one is considered your employee. That means you’re responsible for their injuries, even if you didn’t know they were unlicensed.

Before hiring any tree service:

• Ask for proof of a valid contractor’s license
• Request a certificate of insurance
• Verify their license status using the California Contractors State License Board (CSLB) lookup tool

Verify insurance and be sure it’s current and don’t be afraid to call insurance company to verify coverage.

Under California Labor Code Section 2750.5, if a worker doesn’t hold a valid license for the work they’re doing, they’re legally considered your employee. Without workers’ compensation insurance, you bear the risk.

Protect yourself and your home.

This is our tree service from now on. I don't usually write reviews. But with this company I am. We had 3 palms, a pepper tree and a hugh bush trimmed today. Hector gave an estimate yesterday, the crew was here a little before 9:00 this morning and were done around 9:30. His price was very reasonable, the crew was professional and did a really great job from the minute they arrived all the way thru the clean up. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. I'm not paid for this review. I'mjust a customer who thinks that when you run into an exceptional company or service people should know. Thank you Hector, you've built an organized, reliable company. Not easy to find now days!

I live in Rancho Cucamonga and was in need of a tree removal but did not know who to call. Thankfully I gave HLS Tree Service a call. The process was so smooth and they did an excellent job! Very professional, I will definitely be recommending HLS!!

Hector and his crew did an excellent job trimming and shaping our trees, especially our three olive trees. Other companies have done adequate jobs in the past, but the olives always looked like too much or too little had been removed. HLS did it just right and for a very fair price.

Highly recommend. Had 3 trees removed plus stumps ground, about 10 juniper, and 5 bottle brush. 3 man crew had the job done in no time. When they finished there was no sign that the crew or the plants were ever there. I'll be call them again.

Great work ! HLS did a tree removal in my home and I was very satisfied with the the work done in my backyard. Great costumer service, overall 10/10. Would 100% recommend !

Our 50+ foot alder tree went from a few distressed branches to mostly dead within a short time. HLS scheduled the removal very promptly. The work crew removed the tree without any damage to our garden plants, walls, or irrigation system. They ground the stump and cleaned up completely.
I'll happily use HLS in the future, hopefully for trimming rather than removal of our other trees!

Hector's crew was very prompt on the arrival time. The foreman made recommendations on the best way to shape and thin the trees. They cleaned up everything afterwards so you couldn't tell they were here. Very polite and respectful of everything in the yard. They did a Great Job and we're reasonably priced.

Hector and his team did a beautiful job on four trees (a large Pecan, Lemon, Orange and Apricot)in my backyard. They were fast and left my yard totally clean!

Definitely recommend in N Fontana and surrounding areas! Although we loved our giant shade tree (I believe it was a type of maple), its roots began growing under and lifted our walkway, then caused tripping hazards throughout our lawn. HLS came out and removed it in no time. Very professional, cleaned up after themselves, and took all the trash away. My lawn has since grown back nice, thick, and evenly as if the giant tree had never been there. While HLS workers were here, my neighbor even decided to hire them for a trim on his maple as well!

Called for a free quote and they were there within an hour with an honest assessment and quote. They performed the job 3 days later at the quoted price and my tree turned out looking awesome. Effective communicators, hard workers, fair prices

Had 30 year old Italian cypress in serious need of topping off and major trimming. HLS quote was in the midrange. I decided to go with them because of their reviews and Tony was the only one who didn’t attempt to high pressure me. They did an excellent job, left my brick patio cleaner than when they arrived. Also I missed a minor area on my first inspection go around and notified the owner of this. He had the team back out early next morning and it was remedied in five minutes no muss no fuss. I really appreciate the professionalism, something sorely lacking in many service sectors these days. If your looking for tree trimming, don’t waste your time looking around, just go with HLS.

These guys are fast responding, give fair and accurate estimates and crews show up when promised. The crew members are polite, courteous, knowledgeable and hard working. The preform above and beyond expectations and the cleanup is remarkable.
