Kolb Construction performed Earthquake Brace and Bolt (EBB) work for me. This is a program that provides grants for this work, but many steps had to be done with deadlines. Contractors have to be chosen from a list, and Kolb was the only one in my area that even responded to my request for an estimate. But Paul was nice and knowledgeable about the process, and the estimate seemed reasonable, so I went with them with only one estimate. All of the work was completed and the initial approvals were obtained from the EBB quickly and easily. Gabby, the project manager, was very responsive and organized and made sure all of the building permits, plans, and other documentation were done and uploaded to the EBB website and approved. Only the final EBB approval remains to be done, and I'm sure it won't be a problem, as everything else in the process has gone smoothly.

Kolb Construction did an excellent job retrofitting my crawl space as per Earthquake Brace and Bold (EBB) specification. They were thorough and helped us understand the entire procedure even before starting. Especially Ms. Gabby was there as our contact point at Kolb and took care of EBB instructions to see the project complete. We give them 5 star rating. Thanks Kolb and Gabby.
