General Contractor reviews in Redondo Beach, California

Responsive , friendly and experienced contractor whose team did a thorough job with earthquake brace and bolting on our hillside home. Gabby from Admin was very helpful guiding us thru the whole project and assisting in the steps to obtain the FEMA funded EBB grant. thank you!

Kolb Construction performed Earthquake Brace and Bolt (EBB) work for me. This is a program that provides grants for this work, but many steps had to be done with deadlines. Contractors have to be chosen from a list, and Kolb was the only one in my area that even responded to my request for an estimate. But Paul was nice and knowledgeable about the process, and the estimate seemed reasonable, so I went with them with only one estimate. All of the work was completed and the initial approvals were obtained from the EBB quickly and easily. Gabby, the project manager, was very responsive and organized and made sure all of the building permits, plans, and other documentation were done and uploaded to the EBB website and approved. Only the final EBB approval remains to be done, and I'm sure it won't be a problem, as everything else in the process has gone smoothly.

Kolb Construction did an excellent job retrofitting my crawl space as per Earthquake Brace and Bold (EBB) specification. They were thorough and helped us understand the entire procedure even before starting. Especially Ms. Gabby was there as our contact point at Kolb and took care of EBB instructions to see the project complete. We give them 5 star rating. Thanks Kolb and Gabby.

Kolb Construction handled a seismic retrofit of my home and helped navigate the California Brace & Bolt rebate program. Gabby was very responsive and helpful throughout the process, ensuring the work was done quickly and thoroughly and my paperwork was processed through the steps of permitting, approval and rebate fully.

Kolb Construction handled the seismic retrofitting for my home. This was the best experience l've had with a contractor ever. They got back to me right away, and the work was completed immediately. They even helped with other things I needed on the property. Gabby was very knowledgeable about the whole process and helped me stay on top of my homeowners dashboard on the EBB site. I'd definitely use them again.

I used Kolb Construction as my contractor for California Earthquake Brace and Bolt Program. They were very knowledgeable and helped me through the process with detailed information and fast response time by email as well as in person meetings. Both the permit and the inspection afterwards were approved by the city on the first try. I would recommend them to anybody for contracting needs.

Top Construction Pros was an absolute pleasure to work with from the moment we finalized the contract, all the way through the completion of the project and beyond. We were incredibly impressed with their creative vision, execution, meticulous attention to detail, and outstanding customer service. Sebastian, Michael, and Isaiah were on the job site daily for the duration of the six-month project. They maintained the highest level of professionalism, treating my family with the utmost courtesy and respect, and always ensured the site was clean when they finished for the day. The quality of their work was simply outstanding; in fact, we've had numerous friends inquire about them because they were so impressed with our newly remodeled kitchen! Even after the project was completed, they were always readily available, promptly returning our phone calls and promptly responding whenever we needed them. Without a doubt, we would engage Top Construction Pros again for any future home remodeling projects, there would be no need to even consider other bids. Their work is just that exceptional.

Had the leaf filter installed on our home's gutter today. The experience has been wonderful from start to finish with everyone involved in the process. Dillon dropped by our house in Redondo Beach and gave us a cost estimate. We received the proposal/contract the next day once we decided to proceed with this unnamed company. After signing the contract, we were given a full week to reconsider without any strings attached. Today, Isaiah and Michael, our two gutter specialists, completed the installation. They are truly professionals in handling gutter work, that's clear to see. They did a thorough cleanup of my yard (which had lots of debris from my previously clogged gutter) post-installation. The entire process was seamless. This company has earned my trust and is my top choice for any future gutter projects!

I don’t usually write reviews, but after our fantastic experience with Top Construction Pros on our recent remodeling project, I felt it was necessary. Michael, our project manager, was incredibly attentive to all our questions and concerns throughout the whole process. We stayed in touch through text, calls, and face-to-face meetings, which made it comforting to know we could easily reach him and get prompt responses. He transformed our vision for updating the family room into reality. This included taking out the old fireplace facade, wood-burning stove, and worn flooring, and replacing them with a sleek gas fireplace insert, a modern fireplace surround, and new flooring. Additionally, we updated our outdated kitchen countertop and backsplash, which made a huge difference in how the space looked. Michael guided us in selecting beautiful porcelain slabs for the countertop and fireplace surround, as well as stylish tile for the backsplash, all while staying within our budget. The team worked professionally and efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption so we could remain in our home during the renovations. They kept the job site clean and safe at the end of each day, which was crucial since we have a toddler who loves to explore. The crew communicated well about their schedule, letting us know when they would be on-site and when they wouldn’t. They took great care to protect our kitchen cabinets, appliances, and the flooring that we weren’t replacing, treating our home with the utmost respect. The project wrapped up in less than 4 weeks (about 17 days on-site), which was in line with the timeline provided by Michael. He gave us a detailed scope of work outlining what Top Construction Pros would handle and what we needed to supply, like hard surfaces and finish paint. The agreement included a clear breakdown of costs, and there were no unexpected expenses with the original scope of work. Overall, we highly recommend Top Construction Pros. From the planning stages to the final touches, we are extremely pleased with the quality of work, the pricing, and most importantly, the stunning end result. Our home’s interior design has improved significantly in both appearance and functionality.

I recently got my backyard remodeled by Top Construction Pros, and the transformation is simply astounding! Given that I have two kids and a pair of furry friends, I was in need of a robust and safe outdoor area that could endure heavy use. The project manager, Michael, and his crew were outstanding from the get-go. They completed the project in record time, and Michael was particularly diligent and supportive throughout the entire journey. He took into account all my worries and ensured that everything was up to my expectations. The remodeling team was professional, swift, and left my backyard spotless. Presently, my children and pets have a lush, green space to revel in, and I'm at ease knowing it's constructed for longevity. If you're contemplating a backyard remodel, I can't recommend Michael and his crew enough. Their commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is truly remarkable. A big thank you to Michael and his team for their incredible work!

I recently had a home remodeling consultant, Isaiah, visit my house for a roof inspection. Even though it was a rainy and chilly day, he got up on the roof and did a thorough check. He showed me clear photos of the roof, pointing out the exact areas that needed repairs. I was really impressed by how thoughtful and professional Isaiah was during the whole process. While he was there, Isaiah also noticed that a section of my gutter was clogged. He kindly asked if he could go into my backyard and use a ladder to unclog it for me. I had a previous inspection from another company, but they didn't mention anything about my gutters. Because of this extra attention to detail and care, I’ve decided to use this company for my roof replacement. As a senior homeowner, I truly appreciated Isaiah’s kindness and the excellent service he provided, especially on such a dreary day. Acts like these make a big difference and show what great customer service is all about.

sebastian from the remodeling team was very professional, reliable, and really knew his stuff. i had him come by to fix one ceiling fan and balance another one in my home a while back. when the fans started acting up again, he was quick to come out and check things over. after looking at the fans for a few minutes, sebastian made a few small adjustments that took care of the issue, so he didn't even need to take down the fan or swap out any parts. he even said this would just count as a follow up and didn’t charge me for another service call. even though this was a small repair, i would definitely call him again for any home remodeling project, big or small.

we had a great experience with our home remodeling project. i first called in and talked to sebastian, who was the main estimator, and then we followed up by email with a detailed list of what we wanted done in our house. we checked around with other remodeling contractors using the same scope of work. this company wasn’t the cheapest, but their price was still on the lower side compared to the other bids we received. dillon came out to do the estimate, and once we agreed to move forward, michael and another team member kept in touch and were always friendly and quick to respond. the biggest part of our remodel was the demolition, which included taking out all the old plaster and lath from the walls and ceilings, a lot of which had lead-based paint. the demo crew did a really good job with that, removing almost everything including most of the trim. everything was cleaned up carefully, and they used all the right safety steps like heavy plastic and air filters. overall, i’m very happy with how the project turned out and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for home remodeling work.

my in-laws just finished a full home remodel with a local design and general contracting team. isaiah was the project manager and designer, and he did a fantastic job making sure everything moved along smoothly. since my in-laws speak english as their second language, i helped with communication between them, the contractors, and the team. as with any big renovation, there were a few minor bumps, but every issue was handled quickly and professionally. everyone took care of their own part of the job and was happy to help each other out to keep the project on schedule. i really liked having a group chat with everyone involved, so we could all share updates and photos. it made it so much easier to keep track of progress and make decisions. everyone was very responsive, which was a huge help in making sure things stayed on track. this company is a great one-stop-shop for home remodeling in california. they handle everything from design and permits to construction management. all you need to do is meet with the project manager, and they’ll guide you through all the choices from start to finish. isaiah even joined us at different stores to pick out materials and gave us good suggestions on where to shop if we wanted to look on our own. you don’t have to buy everything from their recommended vendors, but the quality from their partners is great. we mixed and matched between their vendors and our own picks, and we’re really happy with the results. overall, we had a wonderful experience with this home remodeling team.

After meeting with a few contractors in Redondo Beach and not really connecting with any of them, we finally reached out to a remodeling company about updating both our main and hallway bathrooms. michael from their team came out to check everything, and right away, we felt comfortable working with him. we decided to hire them, signed the contract, and scheduled the remodel to start in about six weeks since they had some other projects and we had travel plans, which worked out fine for us. They started right on time and finished both bathrooms in just three weeks, even though no work happened on weekends. The quality was fantastic—everything looked really well done. The crew showed up on time every day and usually worked until about 3 pm. They handled the demolition, custom-built shower pans, tiled everything beautifully, painted, and installed new toilets, countertops, wall heater, sinks, faucets, and even did new flooring in the main bathroom. dillon and the whole crew were great to work with. dillon was clearly proud of his work, always took time to answer our questions, listened to any ideas we had, and everyone was very respectful of our home. After each day, the bathrooms were left tidy and they cleaned up the outside area where they cut tile and cement board. They also helped by picking up and storing all the tile we bought, even though they had to keep it for a few weeks. we highly recommend this company for anyone in Redondo Beach looking for reliable and talented home remodeling professionals. they made the whole process smooth and the results are amazing!

We recently completed a kitchen remodel, and we are thrilled with the results from our contractor! One of the first things we appreciated was the great estimate, and they provided an amazing 3D rendering of our new kitchen design. The kitchen remodeling process began with gathering several quotes from different contractors to compare prices and get a clear understanding of what to expect. Our contractor was able to offer the best deal! They presented us with a detailed plan, and the work was finished in just one month. Throughout the project, the supervisor was very attentive and kept us updated on everything happening. We highly recommend them for any remodeling projects!

Top Construction Pros was fantastic! My husband and I were remodeling our home and hadn’t planned on replacing our old fireplace. When we realized it needed to be done, I had only a short time to find a new one and couldn’t make it to any showrooms. Michael kindly sent me photos of available floor models, and I was able to choose one quickly. Dillon and Sebastian were very helpful, kept us updated, and completed the installation as quickly as possible. The whole team was friendly and worked hard to make sure our project stayed on schedule with the other contractors. I highly recommend their remodeling services for anyone looking to update their home!

top construction pros recently remodeled one of our studio suites by installing a mini-bar and efficiency kitchen. the project included extra work like relocating hvac ducts, adding new electrical outlets, and updating the plumbing. from the first walkthrough and planning, through design changes and contract finalization, everything was handled smoothly and professionally. i wanted a stress-free, turnkey solution, and that’s exactly what they provided. communication with michael was fantastic—he stayed involved in every step and made sure all our questions were answered quickly. we’ve worked with this team before, and once again, we’re very satisfied with the results. we’ll definitely call them for any future home remodeling projects.

everyone on the home remodeling team was skilled, qualified, and really helpful as we hired them to bring our dream kitchen to life in redondo beach. throughout the project, they always provided creative ideas, thoughtful options, and useful advice that made our design even better than we imagined. their craftsmanship and attention to detail were truly impressive. michael and the office staff made sure everything ran smoothly and all the work was done professionally. the team encouraged us to try new styles and step out of our comfort zone, which really paid off—the result is a classic and elegant kitchen that looks amazing and will last for years. they stuck to our original budget and were honest, clear, and straightforward from start to finish. we first heard about this company from a friend who also remodeled their home and was super happy. now, we’re recommending them to anyone in redondo beach thinking about remodeling their house.

I want to share some positive feedback about my experience with Top Construction Pros during my recent home remodeling project. I am very happy with how everything turned out, and everyone on the team was friendly, respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. Michael made sure everything stayed on track and was great at solving small issues before they became bigger problems. He always had helpful ideas and solutions for anything unexpected. He was always available if I had questions, and it was a pleasure working with him. Sebastian handled all the site grading and made sure the area around my home was properly prepared. He did a lot of work in just a short time, smoothing out rough spots, building up the right areas, and making sure drainage was set up correctly. He worked hard and did a fantastic job. Dillon took care of all the concrete work and the foundation for the remodel. Everything he did turned out perfect, with beautiful and well-aligned concrete. The project moved forward smoothly and everything looked great. My main contact throughout the remodeling project was always helpful, answering my questions and keeping me updated on everything. She was quick to return calls, paid close attention to details, and made sure everything was done right and to my satisfaction. Overall, I am very pleased with the work and the professionalism from everyone involved.

Sebastian from Top Construction Pros is truly one of the most reliable and professional remodeling contractors I have worked with. Having owned several properties, I have taken on many home renovation projects, so I’ve dealt with a lot of different contractors in the past. Meeting Sebastian made the whole process much easier and stress-free. The team is also known for their eco-friendly building practices, which I really appreciated. They recently remodeled my office, handling all the tenant improvements, and even managed to finish the project under budget. Sebastian’s knowledge really stood out—he’s always willing to offer helpful advice and share his expertise. I was so impressed with the transformation of my office that I’ve already asked them to help with some renovation work at my home. Sebastian approaches every detail of the project with genuine care, treating it as if it were his own space, which is something you don’t see very often. If you’re thinking about a home remodel or renovation, I highly recommend this company. Their dedication, honesty, and skill really make them stand out in the construction world.
