We used EC Tree Service for the first time in May 2024. It was a big job involving many large Eucalyptus trees and three neighbors. Elmer, his inside staff, and the cutters worked together as a great team. They proposed a plan of action based on the requests of the multiple parties involved. They worked quickly, but carefully, and the end result is safer, more beautiful, healthier trees.

We had to have our tree trimmed to make our insurance company happy. Elmer came by, gave a competitive quote (we also checked with 2 other companies; Elmer's bid was comparable to all), and quickly scheduled the trim. It was a big job on a very large tree and they did a great job.

From start to finish, my call to the office (Gaby) for an appointment to get an estimate (Jarvis) to having a plum tree in the backyard removed (the crew)- the entire experience was 5+++ stars. They were able to do the work without me being home. They left the work area clean and orderly. I'm glad that I found EC Tree Service via YELP, and this was one of the times that the recommendations were right on point. I would definitely use this service again!

EC Tree Service did a great job removing a tree that fell on my house after a recent storm. The tree fell on a Saturday and they were able to come the very next morning even though it was a holiday. All of the workers were polite, professional, did their jobs well, and cleaned up after themselves. Elmer, the owner of the company, promised that his workers would make it look like there was never a tree there in the first place and they delivered. The company, which is licensed and insured, was also the most reasonably priced of the three bids I got before hiring them. I just got the invoice and there were no surprises - the estimate he gave was what they charged me. All in all, I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend EC Tree Service.

they did a great job, trimmed and shaped my Lime tree, and did the same to a huge Cecile Bruner rose. Very efficient, courteous and cleaned up the areas after the work was performed.

Their prices are quite reasonable and they are very careful and clean up completely. They are prompt, good communicators, and office staff is very efficient.

Every detail of this experience from trimming my own trees and the combined worked done on a shared neighbor oak tree went smoothly and professionally. The office staff and Gerome worked diligently to meet my expectations even when I changed my mind about how much to trim one tree. The clean up was very good. This is not my first time using this company and they did not disappoint. The prices when compared to other companies in the area is still very reasonable. They are still my reliable go to Tree Service. Thank you to Elmer for personal attention for estimate and satisfaction at end of job. If you have to wait a little time to get on the schedule, it's worth the wait.

EC Tree Service did a fantastic job cutting down two very large Monterey Pines at our home, as well as trimming ornamental trees on our property. Elmer, the owner, is very nice and his bid to do the job offered great value. He scheduled the job quickly and his workers did an excellent job. In addition, they cleaned up perfectly afterwards. My husband and I used EC Tree Service about 12 years ago and I'm pleased to report they offer the same quality of service now as they did then. Highly recommend!

I was hiring the EC Tree Service crew for a third time as I was happy with the quality of their work! First time the crew took care of my 5 large redwood trees, second time they trimmed a large oak despite complexity of work in between tight spaces that are prone to damage, and during the third time they did excellent job of removing the poison oak that have been covering about 800sf (yikes) and did outstanding job of doing a general cleanup of the backyard.

Elmer did a great job educating me on potential (liability) pitfalls of trimming trees that belong to neighbors but overhang my property. Knowing that this company is licensed and insured helped me gain confidence that if such liability cases occur, they will be able to handle it. Also that helped me maintain healthy relationships with my neighbor when I discussed the need to trim their tree overhanging my property.

We used EC Tree to remove two tall Douglas Firs and grind all the stumps in our backyard as we prepared for a landscaping project. I would recommend them without any reservations. (1) Bid: We sourced bids from three vendors, including Davey. Their bid was the first, most detailed, and lowest. (2) Job: The project was completed the following week. Two days to remove the trees and a day to grind the stumps. No hiccups. (3) Jarvis, who put the bid together, Irma/Gaby, who managed communications, and the crew that did the treacherous work were very professional.

The EC Tree Service Crew was on time, professional, checked with me to ensure their work on trimming back a large oak tree met my expectations, and cleaned up all the debris. I highly recommend them for any tree work.

EC Tree Service is a very experienced and professional company. The tree trimmers are professionals, the equipment is modern and well maintained. It's no nonsense hard work all day. The last thing you want is for someone to get hurt in this very dangerous business. I don't even ask about the price because I trust Elmer. His prices are very fair, that's one reason why his business has grown so much. All written estimates are accompanied with a clearly written "scope of work". Another reason EC is so good is the quality of the work. I wish every homeowner service provider would operate like EC Tree Service, but unfortunately most are not at EC's level.

My property has 15-20 large trees that haven't been tended to in over 10 years. Elmer came out to assess the situation and gave a very reasonable quote.

Within a week the crew got started. They removed dead and dying branches, thinned out branches and general maintenance. The entire job took about 3-4 days. The crew showed up on time and was very respectful of the property. The property looks so much better after their work.

I got a very quick response after contacing them. They arranged to came the job site for the estimation very fast, and scheduled the service in two days, the schedule was more early than other companies. The service price is competitive.

We had a walnut tree removed and another two trees light trimmed. Their crews showed up on time and worked very efficiently. The results look great!

We had 2 large Monterey Pines on our backyard looking over 4 adjacent properties, with low voltage wires underneath. EC Tree Service expertly and safely removed the trees, and clean up in all properties was impeccable. Would highly recommend!

EC Tree has been trimming our trees and bushes for a decade. This time they trimmed our toyons and did a difficult job of separating a wisteria vine entangled with trees and wires.

They did a great job and cleaned up well too. Very responsive to last minute details !

EC Tree Service helped me cut down a 2-story tree with stump grinding, and trim a couple other trees.

It was easy to get in touch. Communication was smooth before, during, and after the job. The folks showed up on time, got the work done in a reasonable time, and left the area very clean. Price was competitive.

During the stump grinding, I accidentally a broke a PVC water pipe in the ground next to the stump (it was my fault, not EC Tree). Very much appreciate them quickly helping to fix up the situation, and complete the job.

It was the first time I have used EC Tree Service and wasn't sure what to expect. The crew was prompt and efficient and did a great job of trimming, shaping and thinning my 20 foot high willow tree. Their price was competitive and the job they did was excellent.

Elmer Cano, the owner of EC Tree Service, responded immediately to my call and an hour later, as promised, was on our doorstep with tablet in hand to take photos of our heritage oak tree and others that needed shaping and pruning away from our home for safety reasons. He listened carefully to our concerns, responded with his own expert guidance, and within 15 minutes of leaving our property, he emailed us his very reasonable bid (the lowest we received) together with his insurance and liability packet. And then, the very next day, his team of three polite, energetic workers arrived, followed later by another team of five. Within hours they had tackled four huge oak trees and removed all the heavy branches from our steep, three-acre property. They asked us to review their work, making sure we were satisfied. We couldn’t have been more pleased. And throughout the project, we received calls from Elmer’s home office informing us of each next step. We are grateful for EC Tree Service’s kind, responsive, efficient, and superb service. We will most certainly use them again.
