Terrific team of experts! The arborist Emily Rushka is so knowledgeable and educates as she goes! Daniel is the best pruner I have ever had on my property. I hope the ongoing care they offer helps me retain my wonderful trees!

I had a tree removed and Emily from Saveatree came out and arranged for the stump removal. Jose arrived early which was appreciated, and got right to work. Tree stump removal is a long hard process andJose was awesome! Stump is gone and I have a nice pile of wood shavings to add to my garden. Thank you Emily and Jose!

Emily and another lady came to our house to talk with us about our back yard birch tree. My wife and I initially wanted to take about a trim but were told that the tree didn't look all that healthy as the leaves were dropping too soon. It was suggested that we don't do any trimming now but to have it fed, which they'd do twice a year for a set price. We weren't home at the time of the service but we gave permission for the technicians to come in and do their work. I received calls from them requesting permission to enter our property and I agreed since we had already initially given our permission to Emily. We'll be watching the tree to see how it looks going forward since it now mid October and the leaves should be falling in earnest fairly soon. Come next Spring, we should notice a difference.

We have used Matt Fournier as an Arborist for more than 10 years and could not be happier with his professionalism, responsiveness and with the wonderful crews who work with him.

We were introduced in early 2013 when a neighbor recommended we use Matt's firm to remove a large Acacia tree that dangerously overhung both our driveways. The work was done quickly and professionally, and a replacement tree quickly planted.

Since then, we have called Matt to do periodic deep root fertilizing and to trim/maintain the many mature trees in our front and back yards.

Matt and his hard-working crew removed a 90' tall Heritage tree for us in the summer of 2020 over three longs days (with the aid of lots of specialized equipment). They were efficient, easy to work with and removed all the detritus from the job.

I cannot recommend SavaTree more highly.

Daniel and Eric did an excellent job. A complicated, narrow street with competing truck traffic today. Maneuvered their truck down a tight driveway without any mishaps, cut down two trees in tight locations , trimmed and balanced my oak tree Cleaned up beautifully , including removing all tree detritus . Highly recommend these guys and Emily the botanist . SavaTree will get my future business and recommendations.

AMAZING service! We had a very tricky removal to perform of a massive Willow tree very close to the water. Daniel and his crew were super professional, fast, clean and the price was quite reasonable, considering the size of the job. Highly recommend this company!!!

I had street tree trim done by savATree. They were thorough and friendly. Rates were not cheap, our city has a 50/50 program. They are city contractors, so selected by them. They were on time and you should think about 1-2 weeks of appointment time. I recommend them.

I met the team at a local fair and had the pleasure of speaking with Franck. He came out to my property a few days later and gave me valuable insight into which trees needed to be removed and which ones just needed maintenance. His expertise made me feel confident about moving forward with the service.

The following week, Wilmer and Ruben came out to complete the work — and they did a fantastic job! They were efficient, professional, and tackled a lot of work in one visit. They left the area spotless after they finished.

The crew did a great job. We had a 70 foot tree next to our house that they were able to take down with absolutely no damage to our house, our plants, or our backyard furnishings. Everything was done quickly and the process was well-communicated. Cleanup was impeccable.

We also had to plant a new tree to replace the old one and they brought a great specimen and were careful to plant it without damaging our existing irrigation.

We needed to trim very large redwood trees. Emily was very knowledgeable about tree care and had good recommendations. The price was on the low end of proposals we received. Emily's crew was very professional, arrived on time, and accommodated our requests while on site. We will definitely hire SavATree for future projects.

Sophia our arborist was prompt and professional. Did a good mixture of matching our goals to her services, not pressuring us to do more and more costly things, she was very generous with advice as to what we could do ourselves and what they should professionally do. Her crew led by David was kind enough to move my cars for me; a special request since I have a broken ankle. Did tree-preservation for a dying ash and clearance trimming for the power cables running through some camphor trees. looks great.

Very pleased from start to finish. Scheduling was very smooth. Office staff was very communicative. The arborist Jonathan was very nice and knowledgeable and the price was fair. Daniel and Daniel were an amazing tree crew that worked well together and cleaned up. My homeowners insurance company required that the oak branches over my roof were trimmed to 30 ft above or they would cancel my insurance. SavATree came to the rescue! The arborist Grace came with foreman David to come and take the pictures for me! Overall very happy with this experience.

My property in Redwood City was home to four magnificent Valley Oaks. Over the years I’ve lost two to falling.

I called SavaTree to help assess the health and treatment of the remaining two. Emily Rushka spent an hour consulting with me on the oaks, plus other trees I had questions about.

Her proposal included a thorough analysis of the oaks’ root systems.

Jose Prado did a wonderful very professional job of air shoveling around the roots and revealing the health. He left our place spotless.

I am planning to move forward with SavaTree, including purchase/planting of new trees and caring for the oaks.

Daniel and Carlos did a great job trimming my trees: acacia, eucalyptus, and elm. When I pointed out more areas to trim, they completed that to my liking. There are several wires near the 2 eucalyptus trees, and they were very careful in dealing with that area. Did a fine job cleaning up, too. And Emily was wonderful in originally coming out to evaluate my trees, suggest what to have done, set everything up, and return this morning when the trimming would be done. Highly recommend this company, and the cost was reasonable, too.

I recommend Save a Tree, Redwood City. for their professional service. Emily Rushka is an excellent arborist and answered my many questions during an hour long evaluation. She returned with the crew, Daniel and Eric, to go over the pruning plan. With a gnarly but very useful Chinese Elm, it was a difficult prune with a few touch ups to a Liquid Amber tree as well. Daniel, who has many years of experience, and Eric, worked a solid day and did excellent cleanup. All were great to work with and did an excellent job.
