Brothers Tree Sevice has always done excellent work for us in pruning, caring for our trees, and diagnosing problems. Prompt, easy to work with, knowledgeable and efficient--a pleasure to work with.

Tree work was done well but with a carelessness for surrounding buildings that made me feel I had to watch them. They worked for 3 days at my property. Within the first 5 minutes they started working the first two days branches hit my roof and dented my shed. The branch that hit my roof was loud enough to concern everyone in the house. The roof appears to be ok but the next big rain I will be monitoring. Shed has minimal damage but when I called them out on it they said no, that was like that and we have plywood on the top. Implying that it was impossible it could have been a branch that fell. Laughable and unprofessional.

On top of that the quote and price was unclear as we cancelled some of the work we wanted done but final invoice did not reflect all that was cancelled. Disappointed at the customer service level but the trees they did work on do look good. If I needed any more tree work done I would go through someone else for less stress and more transparency.

We have used Brothers Services Tree Care on on property for several years - we really like their prompt response, attention to our requests, and a thorough clean up at the end of the job.

Brothers has done two major trees for me.... one removal and one major oak trim. The crews were great. They were on time and clearly know how to manage a difficult task. Highly recommend.

Brothers Services just completed an extensive job, pruning 7 large trees and removing two dead ones from our yard. We are overjoyed at how beautiful our trees look. They pruned 6 live oaks and one monterey cypress. Brothers brought a chipper with them to shred everything they removed from the trees. They gave us a good price, and we're having them back to prune 2 more mature live oaks. It cost some money, but looks great and the birds seem to really like it. Big smile.

Brothers did an excellent job for us in mid-July 2024. They did everything they said they would do and on the exact timetable they set up originally. They trimmed lots of trees WELL (!) and also cut down quite a few too. They left the property in great shape. I would recommend them.

This is the second time that I've used Brothers Services prune my large trees in Los Altos. They are terrific! Their prices are reasonable, but what sets them apart is their overall care and attention to detail. They were efficient and tidy, as well as very respectful to my neighbors. They have my highest recommendation!

I am another California homeowner who got a cryptic notice of nonrenewal of homeowner's insurance based on tree limbs overhanging roofline. Diego was great explaining to me how he had done similar work for other homeowners in my situation. The job is beautiful but also accomplished the goal of trimming back the trees while maintaining their health. He wasn't going to just butcher the trees. The company also fit me in because of the time crunch I was experiencing. I found out about this company from a neighbor who has employed them for years and is very happy with their work. Angel was very knowledgeable about all of the trees and plants in our yard. His crew did great work pruning a variety of trees and the whole process ran smoothly. We will definitely reach out to Brothers Tree Care for our future tree needs.

Angel is a botanist (who knows well about the difference between Coast Redwood and Sequoia, just for a small example) while his staff knows what they should prune tree-wise, either major pruning or just minor thining among different sections. I feel comfortable having them doing my tree care ahead of Winter windy raining season.

Brothers Service Tree Care just pruned nearly 30 trees on my property and did an outstanding job from beginning to end.

The project started with a free estimate from Angel, their arborist. Compared to talking with other arborists, I felt much more confident in Angel's knowledge of trees and recommendations for their care. Angel did a great job of explaining the why behind his recommendations and walked me through how the work would be done. Angel and the front office (Monserrat) were super responsive to my follow up requests and questions before we finalized the agreement.

As discussed, Angel stopped by with the crew on the day of the job slightly early to do a walk through with my wife and me to make sure our expectations were clear. In the walk through, he noted a few extra plants that needed some trimming and kindly offered to take care of those for no extra charge.

Within a day, his crew did a beautiful job of topping off and thinning out a lot of overgrown trees. And, when finished, they left the property cleaner (debris free) than when they arrived.

Before the crew left, Angel returned and did some personal trimming of his own and then walked the grounds with me to make sure everyone looked good.

Brothers Service Tree Care is by far the best resource I have found for the care and maintance of our Trees and Bushes. We have worked with many other similar providers but none even come close to the insightfull, professional and talented service we have experienced with Brothers!

Angel has been taking care of our live oak for over 12 years. He’s always easy to work with. I call him up, set up an appointment, then he comes to my house to assess the situation. He’s patient and explains the work that needs to be done. He’s very knowledgeable about trees.

His crew does excellent work and cleans up thoroughly. They’ve done some big projects over the years. Once, we had their crew take down a 70 year old Monterey pine that had slowly died from the dreaded bark beetle. The tree was close to the house. They did a great job removing the old soul, then ground down the stump. For our live oak, they’ve cared for it as it’s grown from a child to a full blown adult whose canopy dwarfs our house now. They’ve trimmed and shaped it and added cables as a crutch for its poor structure. The oak is happy and in good health.

Most recently, like many Californians, our homeowners insurance canceled our policy because the oak tree was “too close to our house.” They’ll fly a drone over your house and look for any excuse to cancel the policy. We had Brothers come out and trim the oak, lifting the canopy far above the house. Angel was invested in helping us get a new policy, providing whatever documentation we needed.

I will continue to use Brothers to care for our trees. Just like you want a good doctor to care for your family, you also want a good service to care for your trees. If they could speak, they’d ask for Angel.
