We hired Mor about a month ago to fix a jammed shower door at our rental property. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing.

First, he changed the appointment time and still arrived late. When he arrived at the property, my tenant’s wife was present, and he called me to explain that the repair would be complicated. He said he might need to take the shower door apart and warned there was a risk the glass could break. I explained that the door was old and that we would be willing to replace it if necessary. He then advised that repairing it would save money and quoted $400, which I agreed to based on his recommendation.

However, about 10 minutes later, he informed me that the job was already completed and asked me to send payment while he waited outside the property. Since I was not on-site and relied on his professional judgment, I paid him immediately via Zelle.

Afterward, I requested a receipt. He said he would send it over the weekend, but I did not receive anything until I followed up multiple times. When I finally received the receipt, it did not indicate that the payment had been made. I asked him to update it to reflect “paid,” but instead of addressing the request, he blocked my phone number.

We chose him based on positive online reviews, but this experience raises serious concerns about pricing transparency and professionalism. Charging $400 for what appeared to be a very quick fix, combined with poor communication and lack of proper documentation, was disappointing.

Based on our experience, I would not recommend this handyman.

Called for pricing on flushing a tankless water heater. A strange conversation ensued, no pricing was given, and then I was immediately hung up on just for asking.

Mor worked on multiple projects in our new home and did a truly fantastic job. From installing a dryer exhaust, new electrical outlets, a complicated over the range microwave with added cabinet panels, to installing shower doors, and general bathroom hardware, to painting and customizing my closet/cabinet space and handling plumbing issues. Mor was able to tackle it all with ease and expertise. He is extremely professional & knowledgeable in all facets of home construction from start to completion. He pays great attention to detail and was concerned about our personal comfort preferences and tailored things to our liking. He is reliable, trustworthy, caring and efficient in his work.

Handyman Reseda is FANTASTIC! I'm so glad I found Mor. Today was my first time working with him and I've already hired him for multiple more projects. I hired Mor because he was recommended as detailed and a 'finisher'. He adjusted my kitchen cabinets to be even and level. He spent time to make sure they were as good as they can be and they are excellent, even to my perfectionist taste. Next time he will fix door locks and hinges that need attention and replace weatherstripping and thresholds to make my 1950s home better sealed. I'm thrilled to have him do the work because I know it will be expertly done and look great as well. On time, good and fair pricing, attentive. So happy to be working with you, Mor.
