Leo and his crew did a fantastic job replacing the old concrete in my backyard with beautiful colored concrete. He came highly recommended by a neighbor . I am very happy with their work and fair prices.

Leo Monroy has executed many quality jobs at our home perfectly. He installed our complete kitchen, as well as our appliances, and we especially appreciated his fine carpentry and attention to detail. He did all of the trim around the windows and installed ours doors so that everything looks perfect and flush despite, irregularities in the walls. Even the painter noticed how perfect the trim looked and mentioned it. We later hired him to repair fences, build a 26 foot planter, and lay a flagstone patio. Leo is extremely reliable, punctual and always friendly. I would be happy to hire Leo Monroy again.

Victor and his father do skilled great quality work at an excellent price

Victor Remodeling and Construction did an outstanding job renovating my master’s bathroom this summer. The work involved:
1) replacing the bathtub/ shower combo with a walk -in shower;
2) installing new floor tiles;
3) installing shower wall tiles;
4) replacing the wall- to- wall vanity with a hanging vanity;
5) replacing medicine cabinets;
6) installing new vanity lights;
7) installing new vanity mirrors;
8) replacing baseboards; and
9) repainting the bathroom.

Victor, the hands-on owner/ project manager, made sure that the renovation proceeded on schedule, project standards were met, and the work area was clean at the end of the day. In rare instances where his strict standards were not met, Victor did not hesitate to do the work himself, as in the case of the wall shower tile installation and the relocation of the plumbing pipes leading to the sinks.

I recommend Victor Remodeling and Construction to anyone looking to update their bathroom and working with a professional, competent and knowledgeable owner/project manager.

Advance Home Energy came out to my home and did a very thorough analysis of my energy needs, and made me aware of potential problems with my heating devices - stove, furnace, etc. They gave me very detailed reports and were very helpful and courteous.

Jose Ruiz led the work crew a our home for our energy upgrade work. He and his crew arrived on time, worked hard the whole day and cleaned up every day before they left. We are very pleased with the quality of work and the work crew!

Advanced Home Energy helped me do a whole efficiency upgrade to my home. Their technician Laura first came and did a test-in. She used high-tech tools to measure the leakage of the house and the old ductwork, the performance and safety of all my gas appliances, efficiency of windows, and existing insulation. Then they sent me an extremely thorough report with recommendations, explanations, and projected energy savings for different measures we could take. We ended up replacing my 1955 furnace with a new high efficiency furnace, and they suggested I put it in my attic instead of a closet. We actually gained a huge closet space as a side-benefit! AHE then installed all new insulated ducts and sealed them super-tight. There was one guy who spent a whole day literally painting this duct mastic inside all my register boxes so they'd be absolutely air-tight. Then after the furnace was installed, we did blown-in cellulose in my attic and walls, air sealing in the crawlspace, all new dual-pane windows which look GREAT, and I even got a nice set of pull-down attic stairs out of the deal where there used to be just a 2' x 2' hole. I had asked if the furnace be situated so that I could have some attic storage space available, and they more than accommodated my request. I also asked if the furnace would be quiet, and they explained that to help with this, they install an "acoustic loop" in the return air duct, which means that the duct travels a longer distance between the return air grille in my ceiling and the actuall furnace. Man, I can barely hear this thing when it fires up!
Laura came back and did a test-out, to see if they had met their projected energy savings. They hadn't only met them, they had exceeded them. They submitted all the paperwork to the Energy Upgrade California program, and about 6 weeks later, I got a rebate check for $4500!!!!!
Now we are several months into winter, and I was really curious what our utility bills would look like. Well, let me start by saying that my wife had a baby (a home birth in our toasty, quiet house!) on December 7. We had the thermostat set on 71 degrees for the entire month of December and January, all day, every day. Last winter, I kept the thermostat on 68 at night, and left it off for 8 hours a day while we were at work. Even with the extreme increase in heat usage from last winter to this winter, our energy bills are HALF of what they used to be. I'm saving at least $100/month all winter. Between that and the rebate, this job is going to pay for itself within 10 years. And my family and I get the benefits of living in a quiet, comfortable home. I am absolutely elated. Why isn't everyone doing this?!? Thanks, AHE!

Advanced Home Energy is Awesome! We have used AHE many times over the years. Some of the many jobs include installing a new high efficiency furnace, plumbing upgrades, cleaning air ducts and replacing our old deck using reclaimed wood. They are our go-to contractor at this point. The staff are friendly and courteous, arrive on-time, and clean up very well afterwards. We couldn’t be happier with their work.

It’s rare these days to find a contractor with such courteous and quality service. Their crew arrived on time every day and replaced our very old furnace and duct work which was in a tight closet without. They did their very best to minimize noise and mess from the work, which I greatly appreciated.

The new heating system they installed was like night and day. Our house is so much quieter and comfortable with the new high efficiency heating system. The heater doesn’t blast on and is barely audible in the background (which I appreciate because we are musicians and work at home). I also noticed small details in their work which I greatly appreciated. For example, our existing grills were dirty and they cleaned all the dust off without us ever asking them to do that

Advanced Home Energy performed various energy upgrades to our house -- new furnace, new ducts (we had very leaky ducts before), and air sealing. We interviewed several contractors before making our selection and are glad we chose Advanced Home Energy. They did a great job, at a fair price! The house is much warmer now with significant energy savings. The air quality improved too! They also helped us with the paperwork for the rebates and because of their excellent work we will be receiving even more rebates (approximately $2,700 back) than we had anticipated. The work crew, Ricki and Alberto, were very respectful (a housemate who was home during the remodel described them as "the friendly contractor"), accommodating, clean and professional. We're excited to enjoy our newly energy-efficient warm house for the winter!
