As seen with previous reviews, I’m sure they will have some form of defense to any statement I make. But when we started this journey, I couldn’t find many reviews so I feel a duty to leave one. I will keep this short. Hindsight is 20/20 and we should’ve taken the insurance money and found our own contractor. Our bottom floor flooded and it was a big task to fix. Ignoring the lack of communication and professionalism, the bottom line is Prime’s work is not quality and we signed papers saying the work was complete even while knowing corners were cut. We’d much rather fix the issues and finish the work than deal with them any longer. Cabinet drawer holes are the wrong size, outlet was installed blocking our dishwasher from sitting correctly, portions of baseboards weren’t painted, and there’s more…. Only positive thing I can say is that their front desk gals are the sweetest people. Seriously, super apologetic the entire time and I felt so bad that they have to apologize for issues they didn’t cause.

This company has a contract and thousands of dollars deposit... and hasn’t even started the job... it’s been a month... and they’re only supposed to rebuild the cabinet boxes for a butcher block and put it back together. I could only imagine if they had to repair a flooded full kitchen or bathroom.

Do Not Use These People... Mercury Insurance recommended them, and now my claim adjuster is involved trying to get the work started.... even involved the owner and he didn’t even have the decency to help in anyways. Thanks Mike Boab and Mike Robbins... we delayed the sale of our home for a month due to their lack of urgency.

I had an excellent experience working with Prime Construction on some home repairs resulting from a water leak. They gave a fair estimate and completed the work within the agreed upon rates. They were professional and always on time, and I was able to communicate regularly with them throughout the job. The job was also completed in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend Prime Construction.

Rudy the project manager and Juan and Sergio did a great job. We had a water heater leak. They did the dry wall repair, painting and flooring.
All the crew and office is friendly and easy to work with.

Prime Construction was recommended by my insurance company. From the initial call about the estimate to the final day of payment, Mike and Deanna made this process flow smoothly and with patience. I did receive another quote for the same work and Prime outbid the other companies. For me, any company could have done the work but it really is the customer service that retains customers. I highly recommend Prime. As you can see from the pictures, the before and after made a drastic change to my home. Although the insurance process is long to get the work done, it wasn’t that way with Prime. Mike was able to get a team out to my home sooner than expected because he knew my urgency. If you’re out there looking for a reason to choose Prime, I hope a new homeowner like me makes it easier for you. I have found someone to lean back on if I ever run into a similar issue. I have had Prime Construction work on two different issues I had. Both were water leaks in different areas, one requiring gutting a portion of my kitchen and another involving flooring in which both times, my experience was excellent. Prime employees responded quickly and helped me to navigate the process with my insurance to get things handled efficiently. I tend to ask a lot of question and be very particular about people in my home and everyone that came in to work on the projects was polite, on time, and professional. In the end, I was very pleased with the finished product and I would highly recommend using Prime Construction to fix your home.

After an accidental flood,Prime construction renovated our whole house. They are professional and courteous. The job was done quickly and cleanly.If I could I'd give them 11 stars. I recommend them to anyone who require work done. Thanks Prime you have made the renovation a great experience.

We recently worked with Prime Construction as a subcontractor on a sunroom replacement after the homeowner experienced a fire. Communication from their team was clear, professional, productive and expectations were outlined appropriately at the outset. We were brought in to oversee the demolition of an existing sunroom, replace concrete and build a new TEMO sunroom.
We appreciate the opportunity to collaborate with Prime Construction and would enjoy working together again in the future.

I have never dealt with such horrible labor and unprofessionalism. In dealing with rob, my contract manager.
There was very little communication to me when I had to have a condo bedroom and downstairs rebuilt, because of a small fire. I was never informed of things happening. Ahead of time, only afterwards and I was treated as if I was a second class citizen. They were a referral from State Farm. I will never make this mistake again. Very, very poor service when it comes to their contract labor.
The only bright spot seemed to be was Deanna in the office and Sonia, the office assistant.
The people they hired to paint did a very bad job. They had to come back twice. And I'm still not happy with it. Please do your research when trying to decide if you want to use these people. I highly do not suggest using them.

The downstairs bathroom toilet leaked and I had extensive water damage March 2025. Whenever I had to file a claim with my Homeowners insurance it was a nightmare.
First, I was blessed with an excellent insurance agent that recommended Prime Construction. Deanna from Prime and the insurance agent worked great together and I didn’t have to stress over ver anything. Prime paid my insurance directly which was awesome. The water damage included the lowers parts of 2 walls and part of a garage wall behind the bathroom. The wax ring of the toilet needed to be replaced. The toilet and vanity needed to be removed. Because of past experiences when other companies removed walks they ended up destroying the room. But Prime cut out only what needed to be cut out and they carefully removed and packed my toilet, vanity, sink, and mirror. When I had a problem with the separate plumber contractor, Prime stepped in and fixed the wax ring and hooked up my plumbing. The wall texture and matching the paint color was perfect.
If I had any concerns, Prime was quick to fix.
The job took less than 2 weeks to complete.
5 months later I had an issue with the main water line in my front lawn. My gardener broke the line. I called around but it was a Sunday and I had a hard time getting a plumber to come out. For whatever reason, I called Prime Construction to see if they could recommend a plumber. Since it was a Sunday, the office was closed, but the phone call went to Deanna cell phone, and she answered. She was kind enough to recommend a plumber that would come out on Sunday. She didn’t have to do this for me. My claim had been completed months prior. I was able to get a couple of quotes from 2 other plumbers but the one Deanna from Prime Construction gave me the best quote and wouldn’t charge me anything if he couldn’t fix the leak. I asked if he had to do more work then he quoted would he charge more and he said, “No”. Thank you Deanna! Thank you for going above and beyond.

We highly recommend Alvarez Construction Services for home remodeling projects. They were referred to us when we needed major repairs in both of our bathrooms. Diego and the team handled everything—from installing a new shower pan and bathtub, to laying new tile, updating the flooring, replacing faucets, and repainting the walls. Later, we added more work, having them paint and put in new flooring in other rooms. Throughout the two weeks of the renovation, the crew was respectful of our home and kept things as tidy as possible. The pricing was fair and reasonable for the quality of work provided. Even though we had an unrelated electrical issue that required a separate contractor, the focus and skill shown in transforming our bathrooms and updating our floors made the whole experience very positive. Our bathrooms look fantastic, and we are thrilled with the results!

i have worked with another contractor before, but after my experience with this team, i would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for home remodeling services. gerald and his crew helped us build two adus on our property and also extended our master bedroom. from the first meeting, gerald was prepared with our engineer’s plans printed out and ready to walk through our ideas, even before we signed any contract. anytime we faced challenges, gerald always found smart and cost-effective solutions to keep the project moving forward while trying to save us money, even though home remodeling in california can be expensive. what really stood out for us was the clear communication, honesty, and transparency throughout the entire project. gerald delivered on all of those things. overall, we feel like we got a great balance of price and quality. our property turned out even better than we imagined, and we’re really happy with the results.
