I am a Real Estate Broker and have been in the business for over 34 years. During which time I have used A LOT of contractors to work on my own homes, my investment properties, and my client's homes. Over the past few years, I have been using and referring MDT for many different jobs. I have found them to be reliable, honest, timely, and very skilled at what they do. Working with MDT, Inc. was great! From the first meeting we became trusted friends. We had two bathrooms gutted and remodeled, all the windows replaced, new exterior doors replaced and a kitchen facelift. We are so very pleased with the results! Throughout the project communication was outstanding and timelines were honored. MDT, Inc. is an upstanding company of strong work ethic and integrity. We highly recommend them.

MDT, Inc. is a superb option for home improvement projects. We've had them do multiple projects for us, large and small, since 2020, and each one has turned out beautifully. Their team is professional, courteous, knowledgeable and really just a joy to work with. Our home is quite old (built in 1925) and brings unique construction/design challenges, but MDT can seemingly navigate any home remodel/improvement challenge, and in a timely manner. We recommend them highly and look forward to hiring them again in the future.

Would do business with them again. Had a detached garage, they converted into an apartment. They turn your dream into a finished product. Their service included pulling permits, architectural design/layout, plumbing to sewer, full construction, and spoil haul away.

Completed a second bathroom remodel with MDR. I consider them to be a full-service contractor as they will provide potential visuals for people like me who are not great at visualizing or need help in narrowing down material and color choices. I commend them for their patience with a customer like me who needs a little hand-holding; they understand how stressful renovations can be and go the extra mile to accommodate their clients. Work is done with great craftsmanship and punch list is complete to satisfaction.

Thank you to MDT for my new kitchen! I am over the moon. We had a small galley kitchen before with zero countertop space and very small square footage to work with. I never thought I would be able to have a decent sized countertop with enough seating for my family of 5, but with their creativity they came up with a design to bring my dreams to life with this huge L shaped island. I never would have thought of this. My whole family can now cook in the kitchen together without being cramped like before. They completely opened up our space for an open concept kitchen. Working with them was amazing, after getting several quotes I chose them because of their beautiful visual design they provide and detailed quote. They are so organized, all their workers are efficient/ hardworking and clean up well after themselves so much so we were able to live in the house during the reno. They got my reno done in less than 2 months. Communication was outstanding, Alexis our project coordinator kept us up to date every step of the way. As a Realtor I understand what designs elements sell a home and what is cohesive for a particular area. MDT and their team took care of everything. My mom, husband, and myself bought our house together almost 2 years ago. During our search, we were looking for a house that had a big enough backyard to build an ADU for my mom so she could have her own space. While we didn't find a backyard big enough, it didn't matter cause we fell in love with our house and planned to add an ADU above the garage. My mom did her research, but knew she wanted to work with MDT from the beginning. Alexis and Martin came over for a consult in August 2022. They answered all our questions, gave us ideas, a rough estimate, and made us feel so comfortable. The next step was to meet with an architect and approve the design. We were ready to submit our plans to the city at the end of the year. The hardest part was the wait. After a few back and forths, and our plans being reviewed by multiple city departments, we were finally ready to start in May 2023, and MDT was ready! They were out that week for a site walk and started demo the next Monday. Every stage was pretty quick - demo, framing, roofing, electrical and plumbing, drywall, stucco, and interior - but as I mentioned before, we had to wait for the city to come out for inspections. As the crew was doing their job, my mom and I picked out materials and coordinated with Alexis to make sure she was getting what she wanted. We had a running group chat with her, Ashlee, and Martin and never had to wait long for a response. Anything we needed, there were there right away and were very reassuring. They became like family to us! The project was completed just before Christmas and my mom moved right in. Everything was so much better than we could have ever expected. The living and kitchen area is so cozy but roomy, my mom loves her cabinets! The bedroom has plenty of space, the bathroom is beautiful and relaxing, and the closet and laundry room is the perfect storage space. She's now decorated everything they way she wanted to, and it's so fitting. We're all so happy to have made our house a place for all of us to enjoy together but with our own space. And we couldn't imagine having done this without MDT! I can't wait to work with them again, but will definitely keep in touch til then! Thank you so much for all you've done!

UPDATE: We recently added shutters to the ADU windows. The lower house has a black border around the windows, so when the ADU was completed, it felt a little mis-matched. These shutters are absolutely beautiful and make the house look whole. I feel so proud every time someone walks by and admires our house. Thanks again MDT!!

I was introduce to MDT, Inc by a friend and all I can say is wow! I recently needed to refresh a house that I inherited. It really needed a make over to say the least. I live far away from the house and no time to work on the project. MDT help me figure out what I needed to change/fix and provided me with options. We discuss the budget and they did their magic. I had them remodel the whole house and managed and got all the work done in a very short period of time, picked out beautiful options, and it went on the market and sold the first day. They were honest and did everything they said and promised. I would highly recommend them for any house project. I will be reaching out again for other projects.

Forever home can sound cliché, but there truly is no better way to describe what MDT helped us create. They brought our vision to life in a way that exceeded our expectations and did so in record time.

Our project was EXTENSIVE. Every room and major system in the home required an overhaul, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC, in addition to significant structural and design work. MDT handled the complexity with professionalism, care, and a clear commitment to quality.

The craftsmanship throughout our home is exceptional. The best example I can share is when a friend who has worked in construction for more than 25 years toured our home and was genuinely overwhelmed by the precision and artistry. He described the countertops as a true work of art and called MDT’s fabricators artisans. He could not stop admiring them and even asked to come back inside after brunch just to look at them again.

Anyone who has experienced construction knows there are always moving parts. What matters most is having a team that stands beside you, and honors their commitment to the finished product. MDT did exactly that. Gilbert and Martin are exceptional at everything they do. I am pretty sure my husband misses seeing them daily!

We could not be happier with the work MDT did on our home addition. Excellent electrician. Jim was very professional and reasonably priced. He quoted me a price and stuck with it. He has been an electrician for 50+ years and really knows his trade. I will call Jim Hoesman for all my electrical needs in the future.
