At the end of the day, the base of the grass looks nice, they are not very good at keeping they’re word, made a lot of excuses on why he couldn’t be there that day, does not pay attention to detail, made a ton of promises on things I didn’t even ask for and didn’t do them , price was good, I may give them 2.5 stars but not 3

We used Cal Oasis Design Associates to completely design our landscape at our residence.
Angel and design team were so amazing and made sure we were happy with every step from plants, lighting, irrigation, and rock ground cover. They were patient and always accommodating with our changes. We will use them for future projects.

I contacted Angel to do a simple work, to place gravel in parts of a front patio and to cover the underside with mesh fabric. He came with a bobcat, moved stones around the front yard and put them back on, leaving mesh only on one part of his work. Some parts of the yard he didn't cover with mesh or gravel. His team left a piece of fence unattached, so that the wind blew it to the floor within days.

I only realized what kind of a hack job he had done when I was able to see the work in person. At that point I also realized the gravel he had used was full of soil, which means it will quickly grow weed. He admitted that the gravel was not new and said he would exchange it. Over the next two weeks we played tag over text messages, and every time something different happened that prevented him from coming. He finally came in but instead of finishing the job he just covered one of the missing sections with mesh, which is far from what still needs to be done.

In my personal experience his job is not professional, and I cannot recommend him. I cannot trust what he says, and I think he will cut corners whenever he thinks you will not notice. Just look for another landscaper for your job.

Angel was very helpful in providing me a backyard design. His fees were reasonable and he was able to complete my project as agreed. I made several changes and he was so courteous and was able to get my imagination on paper.

I called Cal Oasis to help plan and layout my property landscape plan. I was assisted by a young man named Angel. Angel is well rehearsed in landscape design and has many money-saving ideas. Angel met with me over tele-video conference and came to my property a few times to explain the plans and layout the measurements with ground marking paint. Once I had the idea confirmed Angel updating the plan sheet and emailed it to me. Next steps would have been to get the plans approved with the city, which Angel said he does and then to start the actual work.
Communication got lost a few times, but Angel was quick to reestablish a line of communication. He is quick to respond to text messages, phone calls and email. All-in-all I had a positive experience for a great price!

I wanted a nice design for my back, side and front yard. I called Angel and he arrived that day to hear my thoughts. He took measurements and we discussed in through detail what we wanted. He then took our ideas and concepts and generated a 3D computer drawling and video. He definitely has the design capabilities for his business.

These reviews cannot be real? We tried to work with Angel, we gave him months to work on our backyard that was left destroyed. Our plants died. Our ficus vines - dead. Our irrigation was all cracked. 5 months later we decided to fire him & had to pay over $10k in repairs from the damage he caused. I followed these reviews and could not believe the person we were working with? 3D layout? Never. Very unprofessional. Save yourself the headache and do not believe these reviews.
