i used to have a 4 ton heat pump trying to heat and cool my whole two-story home, but the upstairs was always cold in the winter and too hot in the summer. when my old heat pump started leaking badly and fixing it would cost $3,000, i decided to upgrade my whole ac system instead. i chose to split the upstairs and downstairs into two separate ac units and went with two brand new lennox systems. i contacted riverside bros - heating & cooling contractors and a few other companies for bids. gary came out to give me an estimate. he was really friendly and professional. after getting several quotes, i noticed their price was over $1,000 less than the next lowest offer and i was also getting better seer rated equipment. when i called gary back to accept the proposal, he said he had been thinking about ways to save me more money. he changed the configuration and knocked off almost $800 more, so i ended up $1,800 under the other bids. gary really went the extra mile. even though there was about a 3 week wait for my new ac installation, he arranged a free service visit to check my old unit and add fluids to keep us comfortable until the work was done. the installation went smoothly and now my upstairs feels comfortable and warm. i'm really happy with the new ac setup.

Nicholas did an excellent job repairing my old wall furnace! Previously, another technician visited multiple times but couldn’t pinpoint the main issue, and the furnace operated inconsistently. I even had to give it a little nudge to get it going, which I worried might damage it further. This year, I was concerned about needing a full replacement, which would have been costly. However, Nicholas quickly identified the problem and offered a fair price for a part replacement. Now, it works perfectly!
