Plumbing reviews in Riverside, California

I couldn't find my previous review, so I'll review again since Alan is such a great plumber. I use him for just about any plumbing problem inside or out. Honesty describes maybe his most important attribute. He is frank and friendly and efficient and knows what he's doing.

Great guy and excellent communicator. I live outside his service area but he still took alot of time to talk me through my issue. He was happy to share his knowledge. I wouldn't hesitate to use him.

Their response time is great. After discovering a leak, we called Allen at Wrench Re-Pipe at 8:00 pm on a Friday night and he responded right away and made an apt to come out first thing the next morning on a Saturday. They re-piped our entire house and we were very satisfied with their work. We would highly recommend them if you need to re-pipe your house or have other plumbing problems.

Great Work! He was very responsive and showed up to my house within 1 hour. I explained to him about the issue that I had with my water heater. The pilot would start, but it was would not stay lit. There were signs of it leaking and the bottom was rusted. Any wind would turn off the pilot and we would end up with icy cold water for our morning shower. I explained to issues and he did a check. He was very honest and did not attempt to up-sale me and provided different options. There was no pressure to select either option. We decided to replace the water heater. He had the job done within a few hours. He also gave some good information regarding tankless water heaters and soft water filters as well. Thanks Allen!

Allen Wrench. That is really his name. Easy to remember and I recommend him highly. Allen is a geek about his craft and loves his work. He re-piped my 2300 sq ft home, installed a 2 tank water softener, reverse osmosis system and replaced all appliance valves and shower fixtures. I researched and interviewed three companies prior to him and he was most knowledgeable about current technology and used top grade hardware. He set a specific schedule and didn’t get distracted by other client's new work. He personally worked on the job site with his team and they all did a professional job with scheduling, installation, patching, and cleanup. Water flow is greatly improved. Tastes great. glassware is now crystal clear. My skin disorder improved. No more fear of slab leaks.
Today, three months later, I called him with a question about my softener salt tank. He offered to meet me at my house. He answer the questions and helped me unload salt from my car. I am thoroughly convinced I picked the right guy for my whole house re-pipe and water softener installation. -
I was referred to a friend in Corona who had used Wrench RePipe for a slab leak that flooded their house. The were very impressed with the professionalism and workmanship with a reroute that was needed to bypass the leak that was in their house foundation.
Our water heater was leaking and flowing water that was starting to flood my garage! Although they’re located in Riverside they were happy to help with an emergency service of our hot water heater in Menifee, just a bit south of Perris.. They were absolutely wonderful to work with, knowledgeable and extremely helpful with information, and text communication with an accurate eta when they were finishing up their previous job. They did a beautiful job! I wish we had know they were water heater and tankless specialists when I had my problem with my water heater pilot light last year when our water heater wouldn’t stay lit.
They also had valuable recommendations on soft water systems and will save us at least half on the upgrade to our whole house water filter system! I was happy they didn’t try to upsell us on a new water filtration treatment system. They are also able to repair and service neatly every brand of soft water and reverse osmosis drinking water systems.
I would definitely recommend Wrench Repipe to anyone looking for great work and a reliable, high skilled and professional plumber. -
I recently needed to have some replacement work done on an upstairs shower due to age. I contacted Wrench -Re-Pipe and spoke with Allen. Allen was able to come out the same day and quickly accessed the repairs required. this gentleman was professional and offered recommendations for future repairs. Yes, I would definitely recommend Allen for any future plumbing work..

Allen re-piped my home 2 years ago. I recently had a leak from the ceiling downstairs. I emailed him later in the day and had received an email back within an hour. He made sure it wasn't an emergency. He came out the very next day to see what was wrong. It was awesome. He has a high tech camera that goes into the wall. He was able to make a small hole in the wall and use the camera to find the problem. Even though it was not from his previous work on our plumbing he did not charge us anything for him coming to see what the problem was. He said because we are preferred customer that there is no charge. The problem was just a gasket that goes in the overflow in our tub that just needs to be replaced. He is honest and does great work and I love his preferred customer policy. He tells you what the problem is and how he will fix it and how much. He stays to what he says and completes your job before going on to the next. He always kept me up to date. He is honest and does outstanding work.

So glad we called Wrench Re-Pipe. Allen was easy to communicate with and was the only plumber that could come the next morning. He replaced the water heater and the frozen shut off valve. Great work, we really appreciate the price too.

I searched Wrench Re-pipe online when my water tank heater was leaking. My water heater was converted to tankless water heater and it was installed on the same day. I am extremely happy with the quality of work and professionalism of Allen Wrench. The owner is the installer himself and he is reliable and strongly recommended to others who are in needs of plumbing service.

Had called Allen in regards to a water leakage issue in my bathroom, after further investigating turns I need to get a new soft water system put in. Allen had great communication, he explained everything that needed to happen, what he had to do and an estimated time for completion. Never have I been so informed on the process needed to fix my plumbing! He even told me brand he would be using, Industrial Purification Laboratory, and after some research, this system seems to be the best on the market! Not only was he honest up front and kind he was affordable too!

Originally used Wrench Re-Pipe for a whole house repipe for incoming water.
After about 20 years, still working extremely well with the job Allen did 20 years ago, and when we have had other contractors in the house for various reasons, I always get great comments on the work our re-pipe guy did.
After 20 years we needed help replacing the kitchen drain.
We had an estimate from a reputable company who we use for clogged drains, but when we learned a re-pipe would be necessary, we weren’t sure the other guy was as skilled and we called Allen. After 20 years we got an answer back in under 5 minutes. He confirmed the other guy gave a fair estimate, may have even underestimated the work for price he estimated, but we knew this was Allen’s specialty and we trust his expertise. The other guy talked about going through the wall, and the subfloor, and my head was spinning around all the possibilities of a Pandora’s box of a job. Of course, I wanted to call Allen, even if he did not come out to Orange County, I trusted his input, what a pleasant surprise to know that he immediately addressed our issue, he gave us a better price, got it done the next day, in less than half the time he said to anticipate, and added some more services than the other company recommended, too, including a new garbage disposal. All the years that we have replaced the garbage disposal multiple times, this is the best one I’ve ever had, didn’t even ask for it, and once again, I am surprised to learn that I could have such a well functioning garbage disposal.
Allen was early, but reasonably early, respecting us, and calling to make sure it was OK that he come in early. I would much rather have a vendor be early, than late, but I also appreciate making sure we’re ready to have somebody come in and start the work.
Wrench Re-pipe is exceptional, trustworthy, highly skilled, fast, courteous, professional, thinks big picture for the job, the function, aesthetics, needs. I couldn’t believe how quickly he got us on the schedule and how quickly he was done, and I’ve never seen the drain clear so quickly.
We know we will need him to come back to replace our water heater with a tankless water heater. We have some updating to the home we would like to pursue, and I am even wanting to ask a general contractor if he would be use Wrench Re-pipe as a subcontractor for any of the kitchen and bathroom remodeling that may include some moving of pipes/plumbing issues.
I did not know that Allen did all kinds of plumbing issues beyond just re-piping, and I was thrilled that he responded to us, and could not believe how quickly he responded, asked me to send him some photos, to give give him an idea of what to expect, so he could quickly provide a service. I just was extremely impressed. I was impressed 20 years ago, and now I’m all the more impressed and grateful. I am so thrilled that I learned we can use him for pretty much all of our plumbing needs, and he is the guy that I would choose.
Now I’m eager to call him back for other drains. I thought he only did re-pipe (what I call ingress with clean water), I did not know he also does replacement piping (what I call egress - the water that goes to sewer). Just absolutely amazing! Even giving me heads up of when he would leave to get to our home, and showing me things, so I was aware of the job he was doing, the options we had, and why he was making the recommendations he made, and confirming our choice for our options.
He warned me that I might need to cut some of my garden away, and yet, when he was done, I could not even tell that anybody had walked in the area. Truly amazing.
Also, although I know they mainly do work in the Inland Empire, I was relieved to learn that he also regularly does work out in Orange County and that he’s willing to make the commute. I truly trust Allen, his work, and his extremely reasonable pricing, too.
Excellent & grateful!!! -
Was referred to Wrench Re-Pipe by a friend from riverside, who would do an after hours call here in Eastvale. My water heater broke and flooded the garage. Wanted to get a tankless system, but got great advice and just went with a new tank water heater instead to save money and he said it would be more efficient.
He helped explain the problem was with a broken shutoff valve and a water pressure regulator. I looked up pricing from other plumbers while he was working and saw he was giving me much lower prices on the additional work.
All the copper piping look great compared to how the original plumbing looked too. -
We were moving out of our house that was in escrow. The home inspection was scheduled for the day after we moved out. When our movers disconnected our refrigerator, the valve for the water supply line started to leak and sprayed water everywhere! This was something we needed to have fixed asap. I looked online for highly rated plumbers and found Allen. He immediately answered my call and came out to fix the issue. He ended up patching the drywall much better than the previous plumber that had added the supply valve years ago. I would highly recommend him for any job you have. We will be calling him in the future.

When my insurance told me I had to replace the old piping in my house, I started calling around for quotes. Most of what I got back either felt sketchy or way too expensive. Then I found Allen. He gave me a few solid options, broke everything down so it actually made sense, and never tried to upsell me. His pricing was fair, and the whole process felt low-stress. If I need plumbing work again, I’m definitely calling him first.

We had an under-slab leak due to a burst pipe that was flooding our house. Insurance tried to send another company but the repair solution was using plastic PEX pipe to replace the cooper pipes. We called Alan from Wrench Re-Pipe in Riverside after reading other great reviews. Although he is out of Riverside, they had no problem taking care of our job in Rancho Cucamonga! Allen responded right away, came out and quickly assessed the situation. What I appreciated off the bat was his honesty. Instead of trying to sell us on a quick fix or overpriced solution, he gave us several different options to consider. In the end, we had him install new copper piping through a new path, and added additional shut-off valves to isolate different sections of our plumbing if something ever happens in the future. Allen is THE best copper guy! His years of experience shine over newer plumbers who only know how to install PEX. I will use Wrench Re-Pipe for any and all of my future plumbing needs. The picture only shows part of what he did. He even figured out a solution where we can connect our RO system to the refrigerator!

Allen will be my go to, everytime! I needed to replace my washer and dryer. When I started to prep for the new washer and dryer I couldn't turn valves off, they were stuck and felt like they were going to snap. I reached out to Allen to replace the valves, he was on a big job at the time but he was willing and able to fit me in before I receive my new washer and dryer. Since he was going to replace valves in laundry room I asked if he could replace the water and ice valve for the fridge since it was the same type of valve. I couldn't afford the patching cost, so I mentioned I will have to do my own patching. Without asking Allen went out of his way to place the cut drywall back for me perfectly to make the patching so much easier. He did not have to do that, that just shows what kind of person / business man he is. The new valves look great and are so much easier to turn off and on. Allen even serviced my water heater as a courtesy while he was working on the valves. You have definitely earned a long time customer. Thank you!

I recently made the mistake of using my friends handyman for my tankless water heater installation. it stopped working a few months later. I called wrench re-pipe to help out and they ended up making extensive corrections and repairs on the bad installation.Everything is working great now, I just wish I used them in the first place. They’re also really good for normal water heater repairs and change outs. Im going to price one of their signatures two-tank whole house soft water filtration systems. I’m on their schedule to get that installed in a few weeks. Great company!
