Tree reviews in Riverside, California

Good is not good enough to describe the great, terrific quality of this unit. The team was fantastic, not only knew their business but took care to ask me just how I wanted the trees to look after they did the job. I liked being involved in the decisions made, and the end result was very satisfying. Most impressive was how well these men worked together. They always worked safely and backed each other. I recommend Ortega's Jr Tree Service without reservation and do intend to use them in the future. I need to add - there are many tree trimmers available and the main reason I chose Ortega'sjr was because the business is licensed, bonded, and insured. That's dedication!

Jonathan came by personally and evaluated the work I needed to have done! His crew of 5 exceptional employees came out quickly and completed the very lengthy “to do list” I had waiting for them! Two huge olive trees, two out of control sago palms and a plethora of other tree trimming opportunities in my backyard! They cleaned up and left my home looking so much better! Thank you all for your prompt service and professionalism! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️

Ortega's Jr Tree Service did a great job at our home. They took out 6 tall palm trees, shrubs and other small palms through out the property. I have a pool in the back that had ZERO debris in it during and after the job. They did a fantastic job in keeping property clean and they were on time. The team is professionally skilled and very well mannered. The job was priced fair and Jonathan was courteous and responsive during the whole process. This is the second time they have done work at our homes and I would refer them to any of my neighbors. If you are in need of getting professional, hard working and kind company then don't go to someone else just to save a hundred bucks. Jonathan thank you for the great service!

Great experience with Ortega Jr Tree Care! I needed to get my fence replaced, which meant clearing vegetation away from the fence line. The job included multiple tree stumps, a huge and very tall bamboo plant, and a tree growing over the fence from next door. (See before and after photos.) Not only did Jonathan's crew do an outstanding job, they were incredibly helpful throughout, going above and beyond. My fence was in bad shape and removing the vegetation exposed pre-existing gaps in the fence. Because they knew I have very small dogs who could escape through those holes, the crew took sheets of plywood I happened to have on-hand and kindly took the time to screw them over the holes in the fence. I didn't even have to ask them to do that. One stump required cutting away a portion of the fence because over the decades the tree had grown through the fence and around a support post. Because they knew I couldn't have a hole in my fence for a week while I waited for the fence replacement to take place (the dogs would escape), they came back on fence day to finish the stump removal. They also accommodated multiple changes in scope that were my own fault, quoting me fair prices for the expanded scope. Hard-working crew and great clean-up when they were done. Excellent experience. Recommended!

I wrote this review for Yelp, but I also wanted to leave this review on Google as well because Ortega Jr's Tree Care Service did such a fantastic job for our family's home. Jonathan and his team did a phenomenal job. We asked for a quote upon initial consultation and he stuck with the price, which was more than competitive with other tree services in our area. His team of 5 specialists arrived right on time and trimmed all of our palm trees and other trees. They paid enough attention to our backyard to cover delicate furniture/objects so that any debris would not damage our backyard objects. They even went above and beyond by making sure their service was great and we were happy with their work. I rarely write reviews but the team here did such a great job, I wanted to return the favor by writing a good review. Anyone that needs tree trimming services, a team that is great with communication, and a team that pays attention to detail, I highly recommend Ortega Jr's Tree Care/Service.

2nd time I've used Ortega's and excellent service as before . Had 40yr old Chin. Elm removed and stump ground. PLUS trimmed large hedge. Cleaned up beautifully. Fair price for top service . Will call again if needed! Thanks

Best Palm Tree Trimming. They’re always on time, quick and professional. My palm trees look absolutely great! They trimmed 5 palm trees. All look like the photos. Reliable.

Ortega's Jr. Tree Service has trimmed the trees at three of my rental properties numerous times, and removed two trees at my residence. They are always very professional and do an EXCELLENT job at a REASONABLE price. I HIGHLY recommend them.

Had work done by Ortega’s Jr Tree Care, amazed how fast they got our tree down, cut up, and disposed. They also ground up the stump and put sod to blend in with the rest of the lawn. The area was cleaned up before they left. Very professional and friendly.

Requested a quote from Ortega’s Jr. Tree Care. Jonathan, the owner, came out to provide an estimate on trimming, cut to ground, and stump removal of a very large Eucalyptus tree. He provided an in-person quote on all three within 24 hours of me requesting. After getting two other quotes, Ortega’s offered the best value. My family has used two other tree services prior to Ortega, and I have to say, I am impressed. The crew was punctual and service did not fall short. They removed the tree, set aside all wood for us so that we could season for firewood, and cleaned up the work site. We plan to use them again for future trimming and removal. Thank you, Jonathan and crew!

We made a last minute decision to have trees trimmed before family came to visit. We wanted more sunlight in our south facing yard. I called on a weekend and Jonathan came out Monday to give me a quote and his crew came Friday to do the work. They did a great job and made sure I was happy with the way each tree turned out. We had 4 very large trees trimmed way back and a small one in front for a fair price.

The crew removed four overgrown Mexican palms from my yard including stump grinding. They were fast and cleaned up everything including debris that had fallen into my neighbors yard. They did a fantastic job and were courteous to both my neighbor and myself.

Very professional! Seriously amazing communication throughout all the services I've had done by Ortega Jr Tree service. They've grounded two huge stumps and skinned/trimmed my super tall palm tree. Best price all three times for each job. More importantly they did a great job reach time. They took extra care to take down and put back up a fence on my side yard. They've earned my respect and repeated business!

I contacted Ortega's Jr Tree Service via text for a quote to remove 2 palm trees that were planted too close to the house and trim another tree. Received a prompt response with a fair quote. They were able to come out within a couple of days. The crew showed up and made quick work. They did an excellent job trimming the tree. Best of all, they cleaned up super well. Great service! Highly recommend and I will use them again when I need tree work done.

Ortega’s Jr was nothing but professional from the estimate to the finish product. I called on Monday and it was done within the week. They were extremely careful, skilled and friendly. They pruned a couple of citrus trees and even saved the fruit. They did a great job on my huge Palo Verde and cleaned up my olive tree. They also made my birds of paradise look so classy. They cleaned up everything and did an overall great job. Their work is worth the price.

Be careful with this business make sure they finish the job .
I paid for the job they were doing in the past 8 years, unfortunately last month they didn’t finish the job while they got the money for it.

Good work for a good price. Fast and cleaned up after themselves. Easy to communicate with, and very professional. I will definitely use them again.

Fantastic service. They do all my lawn and tree trimming. Great pricing. Family run and very responsive. Love them. Won't use anyone else. Been using them since 2013

Amazing service. Removed 2 huge trees and removed stumps. 10/10 recommend Leo and his team. They have amazing customer service, great attitudes and are very respectful. Thank you Leo!!!
