Capital Arborists has been taking care of our trees for the 20 years we've lived in our home. They're always professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. "Real" arborists - not "tree hackers". Highly recommended!

We were very pleased with the work Mike & Nick did to trim our two trees. I would hire them back to perform any type of tree work. Very knowledgeable!

We have been working with Capital Arborist Inc. to save three Strawberry trees that were planted incorrectly by a landscape we hired last year. The owner, Jeff Alspaw, has been monitoring their health and providing guidance on irrigation throughout this very hot summer.
In addition, Jeff and his assistant Will did an outstanding job of diligently troubleshooting a sprinkler system problem that was created by the builder (Lennar).
I have hired enough contractors in my life to know great, good and bad. Capital City is great! Always on-time and very knowledgeable. Jeff only does what is necessary to enhance the yard and project, is conscious of the environment and is fair. I could continue with praise.

Wonderful to work with! Jeff and his crew are very friendly, knowledgeable, and go over and above. You can tell they enjoy what they do and take pride in their work. Everything is left tidy and clean. I will be having them do more work in the fall.

Satisfied? You must be kidding. We have dealt with Jeff and the many crews to cut down trees, remove the degree, install our hardscape and landscape for years. The entire company is very responsive and attentive to the smallest detail.. Should you need ANY of their services please give them a call. You will like what service you get.

We had the occasion to contact Capital Arborists twice recently for removal of broken tree limbs. Mike came out promptly to give estimates both times, and Micah and his crew did an outstanding job removing and chipping the very large oak branches. The crew was pleasant, and respectful of our property, and the yard was left clean and tidy. Couldn't ask for more!

Capital Arborists is a great company to do business with. They are a friendly group and more important, they are knowledgeable about trees and their conditions. They probably know about all landscape matters. We only have them take care of our trees.

I found out about Capital Arborists after a series of confusing, expensive so called solutions to tree service on a city tree. Cpital ARborists were awesome and encouraging. They did what they said they would do and at a price well below what I had already spent getting nowhere. I'll never call pretenders again!!!!!

Enjoyed meeting arborist Lisa who talked to me about what work needed to be done on my tall, old redwood. And a week later when a man came to fertilize it, he took his time and did a thorough job. Highly recommend Capital Aroborist for your tree work.

Capital Arborists did an outstanding job of artfully trimming and shaping two trees in my yard which were growing out of control. They very carefully went about making cuts in the right places to take out offending branches without harming the rest of the tree.
I was very impressed with their skill and professionalism. When they were done, they cleaned everything up so you couldn't even tell they'd even been here -- amazing, considering the volume of what had been removed. I couldn't be more pleased with the results!

The crew did an excellent job of everything in the proposal, And more! They were on time and left the place cleaner then they found it. I am very pleased with capital arborists And would highly recommend them to anyone who needs work done.

Professional and thorough in all aspects. They are not cheap, but worth every penny! We have them come every year and are always so pleased with their work. They also clean-up all debris and take it away, so you don't have any worries. I've seen the results of cheaper jobs and after a couple of years, you can see it would have been worth it to spend a little more and have professional results. Sometimes, by then, it's too late. Go with Capital Arborists and you will be glad you did.

Capital Arborists did some major and some cosmetic pruning in our yard. They were efficient, and professional in their work. Additionally, they took the time to answer questions about other areas, and shared important information. I look forward to working with them again.

Heroic effort to save 2 long suffering old trees. Earlier intense fertilization, now very heavy pruning - removing deadwood, avoiding electrical lines, the whole nine yards. The guys did a great job.

Our annual Krauter's Plum "haircut" was again expertly performed. The crew left nary an errant leaf to mark their presence. I trust their care and knowledge every year.

Our cedar tree had very bad sapsucker damage. We received a lot of good advice and they treated the tree with a bio stimulant fertilization to promote the health of the tree. Technician arrived on time and professionally treated the soil around this tree and others in our yard. It will take some time for it to recover but we were very pleased with the service we received and plan to annually have them come out to enrich our soil.

If you-have trees to trim or an issue with your plants or shrubs, Capital Arborists is the company to call. We have used them for years and they never fail to amaze us. They can keep you and your yard happy!

I am very happy with this company and its employees. I was given a clear explanation of what would be done when I got the estimate. The two young tree trimmers were clean-cut and friendly. They did an excellent job of pruning my orange tree and a large privet. After completing their work, they blew the debris off all my hardscape, leaving my yard looking better than when they arrived. To add to their great service, they voluntarily hauled off a few large branches that had fallen from my neighbors' redwood trees.
