Rob and Dora are -amazing-. I’ve used Capitol Arborists three times for various big trees I’ve had to remove after storms, and every time it’s been excellent work. They always come on time, have fair prices, and have top-notch customer service. Rob and Dora in particular have great customer service. They’re really personable and they take their time to provide quality work: for example, I had an apricot tree removed and after the clean-up job they did, you’d never guess there was even a giant tree there, they patched and replaced the brick perimeter perfectly. Amazing! I hope they get the recognition they deserve.

This company was great to work with. The arborist, Jeff, came out for a consult and was extremely knowledgeable and gave great advice on all sorts of greenery in the backyard. When they came to do the job (remove a tree, trim other trees, plant one) the crew was friendly and did a great job. When I called later because a tree wasn’t planted in the right spot (a miscommunication from both sides) they immediately got me back on the schedule and replanted it in the correct spot for no charge. The second crew was also super nice and polite. They walked me through caring for my new tree and I felt very confident in the work they had done. I will definitely use them again AND recommend them to anyone looking for quality tree care.

We have been a customer for over 20 years. They always do a great job. Their employees are very skilled and experienced. They always leave the yard in great shape. Before they leave, they explain what they have done and make sure we are satisfied with the job. We are very happy to be one of their customers.

Capital Arborist has been our only choice to work on our trees. They’re reliable (that word doesn’t begin to describe them). Everything they’ve recommended has made our trees and yards better. They show up on time. They’re polite (That’s a big one). Everything is taken away. The teams they send are great to work with. Some may say they’re expensive. Given the service they provide I would argue they are well worth the price. Whole heartedly make this recommendation.

Capital city arborist made it easy for us to get our giant Sycamore tree back to a safe and beautiful state. They made it really easy to organize the appointment for the quote, schedule the trimming and pay. I appreciate their expertise and customer service!

Good work; good price. Last year they did a wonderful job. Cost was about half of "high" estimate, and the lowest estimate. Very pleased with job.
They called to see if more work was needed and gave free estimate. They suggested minor "tune up". Well done job. My sense is that they want to be your "long term" arborist. An excellent choice.

The best crew and work, we are so very happy with the tree removal done by this company. When we got our estimate we were told what and how the removal would be done...Joe, talked to me about how he would protect our artificial turf and the surrounding plants..on the promised day of the tree removal the crew immediately laid down plywood to protect our artificial grass, talk to me about a hydrangea that may be subject to damage, so they carefully dug up my sweet hydrangea and moved to to a future spot. Everything was done to perfection, the removal and the cleanup. Capital Arborists are knowledgeable, professional and very fairly priced. Our orange tree was looking seriously unwell, and they came out promptly, gave excellent advice, treated the soil within a week and the very next day had the dead wood trimmed by an expert. It's only been a week and the tree is covered with new growth and looking much happier. THANK YOU!

We’ve had Jeff and his crew do two jobs for us and the quality of their work is excellent. Everyone we’ve encountered on their team has been totally professional, knowledgeable, and respect the tree as they as they work on it. Yes, you can find someone with a saw and a ladder who’ll say they can cut your tree back for less, but if you value the health and beauty of your trees as much as we do you need a professional, and we can’t recommend anyone better than Capital Arborists.

Capital Arborist came to my rescue when I was in desperate need of saving a fallen fruit tree. They have been fertilizing and pruning my trees for several years as part of routine maintenance, but this unexpected emergency on my part was very scary. C.A. responded immediately when I called and their team came out and went above and beyond to make sure my tree was re-staked, pruned, and planted appropriately after the original landscaper did it incorrectly. The owner Jeff called while his team was onsite to ensure the tree was ok and made sure added measures were in place for its protection and make sure I was happy. I have the healthiest and strongest trees in my neighborhood and am able to afford their care because C.A. is so reasonable. This company is the real deal - always on time, always stays in communication and ALWAYS does a great job. This time the service was to fertilize my 275-year-old blue oak tree. Also, no mess is left and every employee treats my property with respect.

They did a great job! We have our trees trimed every 4 or 5 years and this company did the best job of thinning ours trees. I will use them from now on. Jeff is great. We highly recommend them.
