I paid $595 for a “move in” cleaning and what I got was not worth it. My refrigerator wasn’t touched and is filthy, my blinds were not wiped down, only some of my window sills were cleaned. It’s like I paid $595 for someone to vacuum my carpets. Horrendous.

I had legacy cleaning service last week. I wish I never gave them my hard earned money in advance. The reason I am writing this review is to save other people like me from this scam. First of all, they ask for your money in advance and you need to pay them in full just to make an appointment. I regret this mistake till today. Well let me tell everyone about the horrible experience I had.
Their cleaning lady arrived as scheduled and only thing she had with her was her purse and nasty attitude. I told her to clean my bathroom. I thought she would do her job and I wont have to baby sit her. Well, after one expensive hour she told me she was done with first bathroom. It was still dirty and almost same as it was before. She had not bothered to take out her cleaning supplies and was using my stuff. When they made an appointment, they told me that she will have everything with her. I went upstairs and she was doing my second bathroom. She had taken my napkins and she was using them to clean the floor of my bathroom. When I asked about mop, apparently she had no concept of mopping any floor. She told me that napkins are good enough. Finally after 5 minutes of argument, she decided to get her mop from car and some bottles of cleaning stuff. At that point, two a d half hours have passed and I had two badly cleaned bathrooms done. The glass doors and mirrors were smudged and I could not see clearly through them. I told her I was not satisfied with her job. She enlightened me by telling me that she is allergic to bleach and cannot use it to clean the floors. After another argument, she decided to put some bleach in my third bathroom and was able to clean it a bit better because I was supervising her. That woman was unbelievably slow and she had no skill set. At that point I was regretting my decision to hire her service in first place and called their office. The guy told me that I could discontinue and I did. But 3 and half hours have been passed and she had only done one of my three bathrooms properly. I spent next 5 hours cleaning my home and my 6 years old was able to do a better job than that lazy, lying and incoherent woman. I called them again for refund and they still charged me 160 $ for first 3 and half hours and refunded me 68 $ only. Please dont be a fool and dont give your money to these frauds. They dont care about their clients and even though I showed them pics of the bad job she had done, they kept on telling me that they sent their best cleaning lady to my home. They did not believe a word i said and did not care about my satisfaction. I still cannot believe that I was cheated by these people and they were so shamelessly in denial about everything.

This is a 2 part review; the one star is for the supervision/contract end of the services. I set up 2 contracts with legacy: one was for cleaning the interior of the house for a move out so the house was mostly empty and was manhours based, the second was a results based contract for just windows with a separate person to do windows until they were done. To be fair, the prices were in fact very competitive and reasonable. The cleaning crew (2 people, 4 hours each, a total of 8 manhours exactly as contracted) showed up on time and for what they did they did a good job. The windows person ghosted on me and never showed up. I noticed a few minutes into the job the cleaners attempted as best they could to do double duty on windows and interior. At the end the cleaners had me sign an acceptance form which I apparently misunderstood to mean the entire job which ends up in Legacy Cleaning getting free contract money from me for a person who never showed up and I get to finish cleaning the latter half of my own windows myself. Legacy, you failed to provide one full half of the contracted job because windows were supposed to be until the job was done and because you made your workers do double duty they shortchanged the cleaning on the front of the house because they were running out of time, which is NO fault of theirs. The failure here was management thinking they could pull a fast one on me thinking I don't know the difference between contracts for manhours and results based contracts. Problem is, I do. At this point with only a few days left in California I don't have the time or the patience to pursue it further after calling you to attempt to resolve this and have you throw the "you signed the completion" (yeah, for the CLEANERS, not for ghost window person) in my face. Fine, joke's on me. But this review stands, so take your lumps, learn to do better next time.

I asked for 2 cleaners for my 2,700 sq ft home. They made a big deal about it even though they’ve ALWAYS sent out at least 2. They show up, a woman and her 15 year old daughter. I am all for paying kids but I am paying for a service that requires some known knowledge of cleaning. My kitchen counters were not cleaned, entire bar area, and half of my living room wasn’t dusted. For the showers looks like they sprayed but didn’t scrub. I am very disappointed. I bought a package so I’ll have to use up the rest of what I paid for. OH and I scheduled a 4 hour clean. They were done in 2.5 hours and the woman was texting me that since there’s 2 of them they don’t have to stay the full 4 hours. This is something I confirmed with corporate when I scheduled the cleaning. I came home to have to clean MORE.

Anna was great on the phone and legacy was very considerate of all items needing attention at the home. The even offered to come back should things not be to my clients satisfaction. As a real estate agent I value relationships with companies who value my clients! Thanks Anna and Legacy!

I contacted Legacy for a last minute house clean. Kesondra was super helpful, kind, prompt, and professional. She was able to accommodate my schedule. We did have issues and concerns with the actual clean, but Kesondra was responsive and worked quickly to rectify the situation. The customer service was amazing and I would give Legacy a second chance in the future.
